I made an order at 9:20 through the deliveroo app and I was shocked at the outcome. First I see that the order said it was estimated to arrive at 11 pm 10 mins later I go onto the app and it says between 12-12:15 am which is nearly THREE Hours delivery wait! I contact the restaurant and they said they would get in contact with deliveroo, 10:40 I get a phone call from deliveroo to say that they have to cancel the order as they had no riders to collect my order, only to find out the food had been made, ready to be collected but nobody to collect my order before restaurant closed. On top of this money won't be in my account until three business days. I am absolutely discusted by this. They gave me 5 pound extra until I demanded for more compensation and said they can give me 15 pound altogether. DELIVEROO SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO EXCEPT AN ORDER IF THEY DO NOT HAVE RIDERS TO COLLECT THE ORDER BEFORE RESTAURANT SHUTS!!!!!!!!

I’m disgusted by Deliveroo. Ordered £34 worth of KFC in error. Never received the food. And the robbers Deliveroo refuse to refund my money. BEWARE DO NOT USE DELIVEROO

Had to wait for my order foods it come one hour later with foods horrible n very cold foods burnt chicken waffle taste rubbery and 2 missing items spent 56 pound for that I wouldn't order deliveroo never again deliveroo layout n need contact someone on that day not in 48 hours reply huh what that I have no problem with just eat they have good communication but this one zero

Account was Hacked- WHERE IS MY REFUND? Forget the consistent incorrect orders, Deliveroo's system is NOT SECURE and they have been making sport out of me trying to get my REFUND. My account was hacked by uni kids, my address and contact phone number changed with no alert from Deliveroo. The hackers then proceeded to sign me up for bundled [not free, £14/month) monthly delivery, and placed two different orders- everything totaling around £60. In the last week, I've spent over 1.5 hours on the phone with their customer support to remedy this with absolutely no result. I've also emailed back and forth with them- first they tried to blame my bank and say that they weren't liable for the refund- which is ridiculous. It's a clear security breach on their end, has nothing to do with my bank! I told them what the bank said, which is that they're liable and that if they don't pay I will be taking it up with UK Trading Standards. Three days later, no reply. I called again, was told they were escalating things through a sales department which apparently has no way of communicating over the phone, only via email. Three days later, no email. Called again, consistently being given the run around. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I've spent hundreds, if not thousands with this company over the last year, ZERO customer service. The fact that I need to chase this hard to get money back for THEIR breach is unacceptable. NEVER USING AGAIN AND TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW TO DO THE SAME.

My Account was hacked and a deliveroo order was made (i've been living back in Australia for nearly 8 months now) and I have contacted the Deliveroo UK Support team about 6 times over the past 4 weeks and have not received a response since the initial enquiry. Absolutely USELESS organisation and would not recommend to anyone!

If I could give them no stars I would!! Do not use this company. I waited 1 and a half hours for a delivery and tracked it showing he was near. Then they said the driver had delivered and yet there was no sign of the food. I rung customer service who said the restaurant 'had run out of all the food I ordered', he couldn't get hold of the driver and therefore offered me a refund which would be back in my account between 7-10 days. I was feeding a whole office. The man at customer service then put the phone down when I said it really wasn't good enough. Very disappointed!!

Deliveroo is a TOTAL SCAM. You pay money for goods. Said goods arrive late, if at all. Some goods never arrive and Deliveroo will LIE about it. They'll even keep you up all night pretending they are trying to deliver said goods, whilst laughing, with your cash in their hands. Then when you expect a refund for the non-existent goods you've paid for, you won't get one. "This probably isn't the news you want to hear", they'll tell you. No apology. No refund. No goods. Deliveroo is a SCAM. Do not use. You will pay for NOTHING.

This company is absolutely shocking, dire customer service, they abdicate all responsibility when food is delivered cold dry and items missing! Have now deleted the app use Uber eats instead or local delivery from restaurants far better experience and accountability! I hope this company either improves their appalling service or goes out of business!

Tried to order something from the app twice and was told that my address is out of the delivery area which I know is not true. Finally tried on the website and managed to successfully place an order. Waited 70 minutes to be told my order had been delivered when there was no sign. I got through to someone on live chat relatively quickly, I was told the order was cancelled due to road closures which I know for a fact there aren’t any. They gave me a credit for my order which would last 30 days, I was clearly not happy as I will never be using deliveroo again and finally managed to get a refund.

This review is against Harlow Deliveroo service, absolutely shoddy and would not recommend them. We placed an order (under my husbands account) and was advised 16:15 - 16:20 delivery time. This kept creeping later and later with the reason being that they could not find a driver. When it got to a delivery time of 17:00 that was it. I finally rang the restaurant themselves to see what was going on and they explained that Deliveroo were not being helpful at all so provided me with Deliveroos number in order that I could cancel the order. Although we were given a £5 voucher against our next order we would never use this service in Harlow again, why on earth accept an order when you have no available drivers and the fact that no one for Deliveroo thought to call us is poor customer service. The only saving grace was that once I got through on the telephone everything was sorted out quickly. The restaurant itself could not have been more helpful as we re-placed our order directly with them and they not only gave us a substantial discount they also added desserts to our order. Deliveroo Harlow you need to get your house in order.

Ordered & paid for food - app said food had been delivered we had to contact them as it hadn’t been and were told food had been damaged so they would refund to our deliveroo account. We had a battle to get them to refund our bank account with no option to have the order resent on a busy sat night!

Stupid of me not to have read the reviews of this food delivery business. Their online website needs total rework, you go thru the motion, give your personal info, click OK, and nothing gets delivered. You call their customer no. & they try to no avail & tell you they sorry..... don’t order from them, period.

Ordered KFC once 8 pieces of chicken and we ended up with 5 drumsticks, ordered Burger King including 2 kids meals and only one turned up my son cried his eyeballs out coz he had no food...and the fries were missing from our meals, we had to cook ourselves at the end, if that's the case what's the point of getting a takeaway? Tried to contact the restaurant no luck tried to contact Deliveroo they say they'll come back to us within 48 hrs...such a joke!!!! Never deliveroo no customer service whatsoever.....

3 weeks in a row ive had a poor service! Disgusted! Tonight was given a time, food didnt turn up - no one phoned to let us know, after 45 minutes speaking to a so called manager - rachel - with colleagues making silly noises in the background, to which she could not answer as to why they were doing that, i recieved the money back that i paid for an order i didnt recieve - thanks!!

Awful service!!!! First order came late and was completely wrong!! No drinks with meals and my youngest meal was missing plus 2 side orders! Everything was correct on the receipt so not the restaurants fault. Maybe the driver should check order before leaving!! I called customer services because driver wasn't interested and was offered a re order at no extra charge to me,, how Decent if them to not charge me twice! Second order still hasn't arrived after an hour and half so rang to cancel to be told my refund will take up to 10 days to go back into account. Re ordered food with Uber eats and was here in no time and correct. Never again will I order with deliveroo !!

Inflated prices. To order from one local restaurant, Deliveroo charges a 60% mark up on the restaurant's prices - and that's before they charge for delivery. Ridiculous.

The worst company ever, ordered food, got the message that food is left outside the door, checked that, food was not there and they would still charge me for the food I did not get. After long discussions and nerve braking talk they agreed to make a refund. Not ordering there again.

Deliveroo cant find a rider to deliver my order. Not very good as I'm hungry and the time estimate keeps getting longer and my food must be sitting there ready atthe restaurant getting cold! Im starting to think no one will ever deliver it and if they do it will be inedible.
