Ordered a desk was told in stock and scheduled for delivery. On delivery day was not delivered fully then had to call to find out item was out of stock. The. Got force feed a refund by a very rude CSM in the end I had to reorder the same item in a different colour (which I was not offered) at an extra cost of £40. Just total un-empathic, clinical cold handed incompetence

If I could I would give Ikea no stars. Full kitchen order put in November 2021. Multiple late deliveries, I think because they contract it out. When I say late, I mean by a couple of hours. Ordered a wall oven with our kitchen at a price of $1492 but since they were out of stock we were not able to get it. The oven is going to be discontinued in January....and guess what.....it went from $1492 to over $1900. This is seriously some bullcrap.....sorry blood pressure getting high. Waiting on last piece (wall oven) with a delivery between 11-3pm. As I type this, it's currently 438pm. It is what is at this point, 9 months of horrible service! Call center personnel are OK, they only can do so much. I forgot, they don't transfer items from store, another WTF. TAKE HEED TO THIS WARNING.....they are good for small items, but large items like full kitchen....DO MOT DO IT! I'm done venting, hope this info help your decision.

PS 2014 Pendant Light. Impossible to get the dome to fit firmly to the ceiling. Had to cut a bit of batten the length of the diameter of the dome, remove original rose and terminal block, screw batten to ceiling and fasten dome to batten with 2 screws thru' the lip of the dome.

We purchased our Kitchen at the beginning of June . Then you told us after purchase that you were out of dishwashers and couldn’t deliver it with the kitchen delivery and we would have to wait 6 weeks when IKEA would pay for delivery for the dishwasher to come separate. We were given a case number. This morning we received a text saying our dishwasher was in , then we rang straight away at which time You told us they’ve all been sold and we now have to wait another 6 to 9 weeks. Disgraceful service . Should never have bought your kitchen and will not be recommending you to Anyone !!

We ordered a kitchen remodel I December of 2021. We record most of the order, with the exception of a cabinet over the refrigerator. It arrived mid July of 2022. They installed all but the addition portion. They want to charge $250 for another trip. They expected me to keep the $20k in supplies in my carport u til everything was delivered. Really?!??? From December. Never will use Ikea again

Pax Wardrobe We ordered a Pax wardrobe online. one 100cm frame and one 50cm frame. We ordered sliding doors and after spending 6 hours putting it together we found out that the bottom door runner does not fit. They only fit frames that are 75cm each. Why did the website allow us to buy these doors with different frames? Also there was no wardrobe bar available for delivery so had to drive to Reading to pick one up. The delivery driver said that the order came from Reading so you can imagine our dismay!

So there etobicoke said 1 hemmes tv bench in stock. I tried calling to double check. No way to call that store. Went there from Wasaga beach. They did not have it and the one girl was not helpful at all. When talking to lady at service desk she gave me a central line to call for inquiries in the future. I asked if they would actually check with the specific store. Her comment was that it depends who you get or the roll just check online.that’s really helpful- I checked online s as md they said that they had one. I will NEVER shop here again

They did not delivered all of ordered items and now I’m charged for another delivery. Customer service is just terrible, quality of their products- appalling. Definitely not going to buy from them again. I do not recommend this company.

Ordered a set of furniture for my new apartment. First, they canceled my futon order because they were out of stock. Then, when I got the dining table, I realized some parts were faulty. Ikea furniture has NO SPARE PARTS and it takes 1-2 WEEKS for spare parts to arrive through delivery. The company also REFUSES to compensate you for wasted time unless you really fight for it. If you do not live close to an Ikea, NEVER buy from there. The online service is beyond terrible.

I ordered a full size platform bed frame from Ikea. I didn't come with the slats that go down the middle of the bed frame. When i complained they told me they were a separate order. Who sells a platform bed frame without the slats down the center of the frame? The frame is useless without the slats to support the mattress.This was my first order from Ikea never again I will order from Amazon instead Ikea is just a big joke

I have a guilty pleasure. After careful consideration, I decided to buy my bed frame from IKEA SA. I was excited as it took almost a month to decide on the design and hard-wearing. I bought it, assembled it, and was as happy as one non-Swedish person could be. Then it happened. Eight months in, the bed broke. Cracked down the middle. The beautiful bed frame that I so painstakingly chose and assembled had broken. And all I did was sit on it. I knew this was going to be a challenge. After communicating with customer service. They told me the product is not inclusive of the warranty policy !!??

Wanted to give no stars but could not. I bout a dresser and 2 nightstands. Never again. Do not follow their direction because they don’t even know how to put their own furniture together. IKEA tells you just click the pieces in place which is impossible. I will now we buy furniture from IKEA every again. Right now I’m waiting on my drill to charge because I followed the directions and the drawers will not fit in the dresser. Have to change out all the drawer rollers have to drill my own holes because IKEA’s quality control must have all been sick the day my pieces were cut and pre drilled. I will say it again will never buy IKEA furniture ever again.

I ordered a high chair a few days ago. It was better pricing than Amazon, or so I thought. $25 plus shipping and tax came out to about $32. The estimated delivery date was today, may 30, Monday. I got an email saying it will be here today by 5pm, and then a text saying it would be here today by 9pm. (?) When I checked the tracking from my original email thanking me for my purchase, it said it won't be here for another 2 days! I called the customer service line and the first lady was apologetic, saying it was coming from FedEx, and she's not sure why, but the order was only just completed today. I asked her the reason and she didn't know. I asked her if I can get a discount for the wait and inconvenience and she transferred me to someone else, saying it was possible to get a discount. The second lady I spoke to was unapologetic and condescending, saying they don't offer discounts for delivery issues, even though it's their fault that the order was only just completed today, on the estimated delivery date. They took no accountability and I am still waiting for my highchair. Amazon would have refunded me my order right now even if I still got the highchair because it is past the expected delivery date. Ikea needs to take accountability.

I have been going to Ikea for more than 20 years in different countries. However, the upgrades to the oulet at Ioannina is an absolutely dissapointment. Its not atteactive, does not temp to buy anythin, checkout is cramped and there are no stock. Even worse is the restaurant!! It has become a fast food outlet with food placed in take-away cartons, everything mixed together and it is off putting. I will never go there again for my favourite meatballs!! I just home not all Ikea stores are going this way, and if the do, they will loose my clientele- and many others I’m sure!

I have today visited the Wednesbury store to do an exchange on some curtain poles and accessories. I literally wanted the same items in a different size. I spoke to two colleagues Lorna and Peter who were both managers and both of them said computer says no. No receipt no exchange. This is pathetic, the items are clearly brand new. Unfortunately I didn’t keep the receipt because I didn’t think an exchange was be necessary. HOW PATHETIC THAT YOU WONT EVEN ALLOW ME TO DO AN EXCHANGE!!! Extremely poor, will be closing my family account and never shopping with you again. You can also rest assured I will be leaving poor reviews all over the internet.

Just about everything went wrong. 4 hours shopping. They charged me TWICE for the products I purchased.... once at $110 and once at 152 (for the same products). Then they had the hide to send a security guard after me who told me I hadn't paid at all, embarrassing me in the shop. I told them to credit my purchases and I would leave them behind. They gave me back the $110 but were reluctant to give me back the $152, even though they told me that they had charged me twice. In the end they credited both amounts, but I had to leave them behind because the security guard kept telling me that I hadn't paid. Ridiculous staff who dealt poorly with their own mistakes. They were not behaving reasonably at all, and didn't want to assist me with my purchase. I left without purchasing a thing. I won't be back. Zero stars for this horrible experience. Customer service is dreadful - worst I have seen.

Bought a platform bed with the assurance from the sales person that Task Rabbit was in my area. Not the case. We are over 60 and now we have to haul the bed back to IKEA. Not a good experience with IKEA.

I was over charged at the checkout and didn't realize until I examined the docket at home. I spent over 1 hour trying to have the matter resolved but it is still unresolved. So much for Ikea's customer Service.
