“The panel Is great. So far the noise reduction has been more than I expected. I share a wall with my neighbor and his dog barks down towards my single pane window and it used to drive me insane. I can barely hear the barks anymore. The barks are very muffled and wonderful. I actually hear my music better now too because it also blocks most of the highway noises that use to come in. I don’t hear the sirens or motorcycles anymore. Very impressed. Very simple to install. There was some anxiety about the measurements I took and whether it would fit but they fit perfectly. No complaints. I just wish I can afford a second one. Maybe in the future Thanks”

“I would say it assists with about 35-40% noise reduction, was hoping for a bit more. It fit well and is easy to insert which is a plus.”

“Love the window insert. Was looking for something to reduce the draft from my old window. Extremely easy to install and blends right into the existing window. Outside noise is reduced and a noticeable difference in temperature (keeps warm air in during winter and cooler during summer).”

“Our neighbor's dog's bark is so loud and constant that it was making it hard to get work done. I'm a professional voice actor, and even though I have a sound treated booth, when my kids went outside to play, that dog barking could be heard in my recordings. The studio is in a 1940s house with concrete walls, so replacing the windows would be a big ordeal and quite expensive. I researched all the DIY baffle methods, but was sad that I'd lose the only light and view in the room. I finally found Indows and decided to give it a try. While production did take a while, when they finally arrived, I was very excited to get some relief from the incessant barking. (I swear, there's SOMETHING in this dog's pitch...my microphone in the booth couldn't pick up chainsaws cutting trees one house over, but this dog...yikes) The inserts were easy to install (pro tip: make sure you DON'T accidentally trap a fly inside. Whoops), and we were amazed that they could hardly be seen at all. It looks like there's nothing there! The kids ran outside and yelled and screamed (yes, the dog was already barking), and while I could hear things faintly, my microphone COULDN'T. Hallelujah! This is going to give me more flexibility and peace to be able to do my job. I'll definitely recommend them to my colleagues, some of whom complain often about loud traffic noise and leafblowers! Great product.”

“Well I got to say my new Indow insert is working so well that sound is creeping in from the outside through the walls now instead , albeit at a very low level, that I had never noticed before. Nonetheless I am happy for the difference this addition is making in my life, thank you!”

“To date we've ordered 2 units, both for cellar windows to reduce noise. They both work very well. We currently have another unit on order for a second floor window noise issue as well.”

“I installed them in mild weather when neither AC nor heat is required so I haven't realized their energy-saving potential yet but I'm optimistic because drafts I used to feel coming in through the closed windows I now don't. Everyone I dealt with at the Indows company during the purchase process was great.”

“I’ve recently purchased a 120 year old Victorian home. It’s wonderful, but the electricity bill was a killer. The road noice was too much, also. We bought the acoustic grade inserts. I was worried because my windows are no longer square, and I was responsible for the measurements. The service was great. The assurance from their ‘true fit’ guarantee also helped. The inserts came in last month. Instillation wasn’t that hard and the difference was instant. Our home is quiet. The AC doesn’t have to run all day every day. My electric Bill in april of late year was 600$... this month it was 350$. I’m very happy with this product.”

“The window worked very well, decreasing the total decibles by around 12. We have older double pane windows in the bedroom, and with the insert it is much quieter. We did notice there was a little defect on the window on the right side which looks like 2 long drips. However, being on the screen side, you really can see it. Plus, it took so long to get the window and shipping the window back is not an option. Too difficult. Price is another negative factor, but overall quality was very good.”

“Took longer than I thought for delivery—10 weeks!—but looks and fits great. 2 seconds to install. Suggestion: D-rings should be on BOTH sides for easier removal of the insert. Great product! Looking forward to our next freeze in Texas to test our new double-pane window.”

“There was some miscommunication on shipping between Indow and UPS freight which made for a frustrating delivery. Be expected for the delivery dates and times you receive from either company to not be accurate and somewhat variable. When opening the inserts, scissors are not strong enough to cut the bindings, would recommend a sharp knife. The inserts themselves are very easy to unpack and fairly easy to install. I only required additional help as my windows are over 12ft tall. There is some sound damping, but not sound proof. I would say decibels have been lowered by maybe 1-2db.”

“My main issue in my place is airport traffic and airplane noise. It is a hard issue to address and we were to minimize a little but not as much as I would like to. I also hear some round traffic noise, it is less noticeable but still there.”
