Hands down the best script analysis report that I have ever gotten on my project. Not only did they provide extremely detailed notes on every aspect of the screenplay - plot, characters, themes, commercial viability / potential, but there was substantial food for thought - "what ifs" are always useful because when you are so engrossed in your story, an outsider, objective perspective on what alternatives to consider to tighten the script can be crucial for story development. All in all, a great service and highly recommended.

Criticism is not easy; but as writers -especially new writers- it is a necessary evil. "Industrial Scripts" will tell you things as they are. When I got my report, I must admit, initially I was a little bit depressed. I didn't want to admit that there were so many things I got wrong. However it is important to know the truth, if you want to progress in this industry. The result of feedback I got from "Industrial Scripts" was a second draft that even I thought was better than the first. I have since entered several competitions with the second draft and I feel more optimistic about my script. There is one criticism I would like to mention though. Dear "Industrial Scripts", please emphasise a little bit more the positive points of our scripts. Maybe the report should finish with the positives. The report should make us feel a bit more hopeful and optimistic.

I've been using I.S.'s services on a regular basis for a number of months and they have proved stellar every time. Their feedback is always thorough, insightful and extremely helpful in a practical way. Re-drafting is key, and professional feedback from guys who know what they're talking about is essential to that process. I also had a few drinks with the team after one of their one-day courses (another side of their services definitely worth checking out), and they're a fun, approachable bunch to talk to.

I have had three script reports from Industrial Scripts and have been consistently impressed with their comprehensive and detailed analyses. It always feels like they take each script by the scruff of the neck and get down to business. They also go above and beyond the call of duty too, giving me more pages than specified. So, I have a wealth of feedback to get on with for the next draft. The turnaround is always quick as well. They don’t mess around.

I reviewed Industrial Scripts elsewhere about a year ago after perhaps my first feedback report from them. Now, a year later and having received four more reports on two scripts I can safely say that they're as essential a part of my writing process as the software or even the spellchecker. They helped clarify and remove blind spots to problems within my scripts and while never enforcing their idea of what the film ought to be, they very concisely pointed out what worked or didn't in the clearest terms. This was always done so insightfully as to improve the whole structure of my script with each review and it gave me huge insight into getting things to work as I wanted (and crucially, encouraged me to keep going). Always prompt, always concise and always helpful, Industrial Scripts have been a boon to me - I now have 2 far superior scripts than before and through their Talent Connector program these have also drawn reads from producers - I honestly couldn't recommend them more highly and safe to say that my next draft will being going straight to them.

The feedback for my script was great on character and structure. It was also turned around in excellent time. My only critique was that it contained a couple of errors when referencing back to the text: but given that it was turned around in very short time I can't really blame them for that. The feedback did make me realise that my project would never go anywhere, and I agree that perhaps this is not the best service for those of us at the bottom of the food chain. I felt a bit disheartened that there was a whole could-be-selected-for development angle, tantalisingly, but that I didn't come up to scratch for - I didn't really know what to do to fix the problems based on the feedback - so I did feel that the project was hopeless. That said, I felt that they were trying to pigeonhole-hole a cross-genre idea into some tired old formulae... but perhaps that's sour grapes. I came away with the impression that the person writing the report was selecting from a list of stock responses rather than responding to the script, and I felt bad for having made them read it, but at least it stopped me from wasting another 9 months writing it! So in conclusion I'm glad that they were completely honest and didn't get my hopes up to get me to pay for further feedback or anything like that. If you really want the truth, ask Industrial Scripts.

I sent my first feature film script to Industrial and got a full set of notes. I then rewrote it and resubmitted it and it was selected to be put forward to producers. I have several conversations with producers who read it and are now interested in reading my next script so it certainly opened doors for me and helped me develop as a writer.

I sent a script, we were looking to develop, to Industrial Scripts for analysis and comment. For £125 I expected a "thumbnail" review. What I got was a detailed critique of the plot, dialogue and general "shootability" of the project. Our project script had obviously been read by someone who knew his business, the comments were concise, incisive and informative and huge value for money. I have no hesitation in recommending I.S. to any Producer who , like me, wants an objective review of their project.

Industrial Scripts is an excellent service for screen writers. They are more expensive than most script doctors - but - they charge a lot because they are undoubtedly good. For experienced screen writers I would give Industrial Scripts an easy 5/5 for any stage in the process. The reason I only give them 4/5, in this instance, is because I feel that their more in depth notes are not as suitable for less experienced screenwriters. My advice to less experienced screen writers is to have the early drafts of your scripts polished by a cheaper script doctor, and then send it to Industrial Scripts for more thorough notes and access to 'Talent Connector' when your project is further along the creative process. Let the cheaper script doctor fix problems with structure and point out any grammar and spelling issues etc. then send it to Industrial Scripts. I also strongly recommend that both more and less experienced writers opt for their cheaper services such as their 'Project Screening Service' or their 'Detailed Project Screening Service' before investing in further doctoring. £30+ seems a lot to be told your idea is no good and ideas are fragile but, if in doubt, get some feedback at the first stages of your project.

I've been a screenwriter for six years, I have received numerous coverage reports from companies both in the UK & the US and have to say Industrial Scripts is definitely one of the best worldwide. Not only are the notes constructive and helpful for plotting a new draft but they have an advantage over their American competitors if the screenplay is not set in the States. This is because Readers in the U.S sometimes find it difficult to understand the humor and mannerisms set out in non American scripts because the majority of what they read and see is American. Industrial Scripts being based in Europe have a much broader understanding and are able to help you shape your work and make it more mainstream if needs be. I have used Industrial Scripts on four different occasions so far and will certainly be using them again! A great service at a respectable price!

I have used Industrial Scripts several times in the past and always found their feedback incredibly useful. Their extensive script report allowed me to make those all-so-important changes and lift the story and character to another level. I am about to complete my fifth screenplay and will definitely submit it again.

Industrial Scripts are becoming a de facto part of my development cycle. This is the best endorsement I can give, and one that should ring bells with anyone serious about development with regard to their work, and consequently a potential screenwriting career. With development time at a premium, it's critical to focus energies in the right places. It's crucial to know those places, and people who can help you identify them. The development marketplace is awash with self-monikored development gurus with no credentials (these can have a negative effect on your work / career / professional reputation). In this regard it is becoming a marketplace skill to get feedback from the right people, more than ever. If you're ready for honest, marketplace-aligned, constructive criticism of your screenplay (if you aren't, you should be), you can do a lot, lot worse than Industrial Scripts.

Industrial Script is _THE_ script report service. Thanks to them, I was able to turn a "pass" script into a "consider" one. Every report is carefully written and I have always found them highly professional. I'm very happy to have chosen Industrial Script when I was looking for a review service.
