“Well I was unaware of all the hidden fees that come with this company but Isaias asked how he could help me and he did. Although I am stuck with them for a year it was nice to know someone staffed cared about my situation.”

“Horrible company to deal with, all around. They will quote you one price, then charge hundreds of dollars over what they told you it would be. They bill you for charges that don't exist. I have checked with my local DMV, and the charges they list on my account, DO NOT EXIST. The device has caused serious mechanical problems with my vehicle. I have been inside a retail store shopping and came out to the parking lot, to my vehicle sitting there running, unlocked, just waiting for someone to steal it. They advised me that I might have to pay to get it fixed, but I won't know till I bring it back to the installer. I am sure they will say it's not the device's fault. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.”

“Money Hungry and tons of hidden fees, As I type this I spent 2 hours on hold to get ahold of somebody for removal, They just confirmed I was okay to remove and now I am on hold again for god knows how long. Couldn't recommend any less than I do.”

“Absolutely horrible experience. The dive drains your battery. Replaced my battery three times and my alternator. Car wouldn’t start more times than I can count. Car wouldn’t turn off. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Takes hours to get someone on the phone. They dropped the call and didn’t even call back. Removal process is absolutely ridiculous l. Nobody gives you a straight answer. The service centers are clueless. Would not recommend!!!”

“I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with Intoxalock's customer service. Over the course of more than ten calls, I found myself repeatedly placed on lengthy holds, only to be connected with representatives who didn’t seem fully informed or confident in answering my questions. Their responses felt scripted, lacking genuine understanding or assistance. Hoping for a resolution, I escalated my case to a supervisor named Sara. Regrettably, this only exacerbated the situation. Sara consistently interrupted me, seemed disinterested in truly listening, and frequently contradicted her previous statements. Her demeanor was so unprofessional and combative that I was left in disbelief. This experience has severely undermined my trust in Intoxalock. I strongly advise others to consider alternative providers to avoid similar distressing encounters.”

“It did the job but I would not recommend.. they need to really work on better communication and consistency with customer service. I was given different responses for the same question multiple times. I was also guaranteed 4 times by customer service that I would be reimbursed for a towing due to a device error that caused it to shut off. An error that was not my fault.. then was told the reason for my towing was not accepted for reimbursement. Still fighting this. Horrible customer service. Definitely would not recommend”

“If I could give a 0 Stars I would! On hold for 1 1/2 hours to get help. It's all about the $$$. Horrible service !! I told them I'm on oxygen and have asthma. Of course they said no problem. Once installed I couldn't blow hard enough spent an hour trying and eventually said it will have to be removed. I never even left the parking lot and they charged me another $90 to take it out. $66.00 to end my plan. Ridiculous. Cried all the way home (60 miles round trip) & 7 hours wasted . Servicemen were very nice but Intolock Company is the worst. Stay far away. Don't say I didn't warn you.”

“2025: Intoxalock does not disclose all the fees and there are many. I had to pay $250 for installation of unit at Car Toys and I was supposed to get a $100 rebate. Found out later, Intoxalock also had a charge of $132 for shipping the unit that was not disclosed to me. I was also told I would get my first 2-weeks free for lease. This was never granted to me. They are reviewing my phone call which occurred over 5 weeks ago. Run away from this company... Also, the unit drains your battery. Not good. It is also larger than the other devices on the market and white in color which is not very discrete.”

“I have served my time and even have my regular license. I try to call intoxalock for removal and sit on hold for very long. I need a calibration and got behind on my payment after i got my regular license, and am trying to call in to do a partial payment, so i can get a calibration and have been on hold 2 hours! Ive had so many BS lockouts triggered and paid for, I want it out! But not just getting through, but I work full time days, and its hard to get to an intoxalock shop during any other hours. I even had my car attempted to be stolen and i had to pay for new devices and camera. I want to calibrate and remove this, and make payment arrangements. But reaching an actual person is near impossible on a weekend!”

“I do not recommend Intoxalock for anything in the world, they have terrible customer service, when you call they leave you waiting more than 2 hours for them to attend to you, it is too much stress to deal with this company. If you know another company, I recommend you go with the other one.”

“I had a court order to remove an intoxalock for my son who was in jail and they said since I was not on his account they weren’t able to do it. I was on hold every time I called to try and resolve this for at least 30 minutes at a time and an hour and a half the final time before I finally decided to let his attorney deal with them and I’d pay him. It is so disheartening to see them take such advantage of people. I have no doubt they continue to charge him even now which is why I feel like I am getting the run around each time I call.”

“The device malfunctioned and fell off. Not only did it take two weeks for the company that installed my device to get a new device. They wouldn't refund my money I had to spend to rent a car cause I didn't have my vehicle. The supervisor was rude. Then called me back and basically lied on the installation company trying to say the device was tampered with. But they are paying the inspection and reinstallation fee. Horrible company.”

“Intoxalock is a waste of money. Way too many problems. I pay 150$ a month for my car to not start. Drains my battery every 24 hours and leaves me stranded. Also they fine you for a dead battery. I had to pay $300 for them to uninstall and Intoxalock charged me $150 when uninstalling. The ignition lock goes off every 10 mins driving or not which is stupid. I highly recommend staying away from this company.”
