Im not sure where to begin. I had the device installed in late May of this year(its now August). The device worked once (going home). Then after that, it never worked again! What followed after that was a total nightmare from hell! I couldnt drive to work because I was unable to acrivate the device. Endless phone calls and emails didnt get me anywhere because when you have one of these devices, the authorities look at you like your a "criminal" and have no rights. It turned out that because I was born with a rare birth defect(cleft palate) the device would not work! Even though I emailed intoxalock like 50 times for help, there was no help ever! And they continued to charge me for a device that did not work! finally! I sent them a doctors note verifying all of this to be the truth but still the New York court that ordered it turned their back on me, they couldve cared less about my situation! Finally! Fibally! I got the attention of the Iowa State District Attorneys Office and they demanded that Intoxalock close my acccount so I could have a different IID company. But they are not able to get any of my money back that Intoxalock took from Me for a device that never worked in the first place!

Theres ONE STAR FOR A REASON. When you sign up you speak to someone local after you pay $300 you speak to someone in India GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. IMMEDIATELY AFTER GETTING IT INSTALLED AND LEAVING THIS CAR TOYS IT ASKED ME TO BLOW I BLEW HOWEVER DIDN'T BLOW IN THE WAY IT LIKED. AFTER 4 TIMES OF DOING THIS KEEP IN MIND I JUST BLEW 30S PRIOR WHEN STARTING THE CAR IM NOT GETTING LOCKED OUT IN 4 DAYS AND HAVE TO DRIVE AFTERVWORKING A 12 HOUR DAY TO GET OT UNLOCKED AND PAY A $75 FEE KEEP IN MIND IM COMPLETELYSOBER. MY BROTHER IS WITH LIFESAVER AND NOT ONCE HAD AN ISSUE . IF YOU DONT BLOW HARD ENOUGH WITH THEM YOU JUST HAVE TO WAIT 3 SEC. AND BLOW AGAIN

What went wrong? Lets start with them charging $56 dollars every week, false calibrations, false readings. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!! DO NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYBODY

Utah requires now that I install a camera after 18 months using the device with no issues (I’ve been sober for almost 3 years). Intoxalock, over the phone, told me that the installation was free, but my month payment would increase. They even set the appointment for me for 3 days later. After the install I was presented with a bill for $225.00 that JNG (the service center installing it) said it was refundable. I called intoxalock to find out when to expect the refund and they went against the customer service guy from 3 days before. They record the conversations but she gave me a lame excuse why that wouldn't help.

They are so 1 sided they dont put themselves in reality situations yes i understand there are avoidable lockouts but as also as there are unprovoked and unavoidable lockouts. They dont work with you at all its all about the money for them if they cant pin you one way they will do it a another way. The only company that doesnt work with you at all. All they say get your service done and call us after for what? Just for a non irrelevant answer? There are situations we as customers cant avoid. I had a unexpected accident where i couldnt blow on time cause i was outside my vehicle and then still and blamed and deemed to pay the lockout fee. This company is a ripoff a big fraud. How can they ever work with customers. I highly regret leasing with Inotxalock. 0/10 professionalism 0/10customer service. Just unbelivable just sad.

I had my devise in for 2 years . Kinda looked like an old school one but never gave me a problem . Socially drank the night before , only had a few and went to bed at my normal time . Never gave me an issue before blowing into my system . I knew there was no way I’d blow anything over 0.00. Never over charged

Had to have mine reinstalled again for the third time bad devices causing my truck to mess up and told it wasn't the unit even though I had my truck on diagnostic machine at dealership that showed it was but got argument from intoxalock who also hung up on me and 5 hrs for installer to finally check the hand held part and guess what it was bad and messing with my truck feel free to call 87osix597six38 John W Arkansas

Impossible to get ahold of someone until you ignore them for months. The app doesn’t even have a contact us option. They over charge and then keep charging even after having it removed. The absolute biggest waste of money I’ve ever had. Horrific customer service!! One person tells you this the next tells you that. Now trying to say I owe a closing fee?? I paid to have the god forsaken thing removed and was told my account was closed. Once they have you on the hook good luck! They are NOT there anytime you have a question!

I made a payment on july second on the fifth . I canceled the service that day on the seventh. They had the system removed from his truck. Sure was canceled a month later.I get a statement saying I owe two hundred and eleven dollars for a month of service and a cancellation fee. They said they didn't get the unit back until the 30th of the month. Which isn't my fault? It's the company that pulled it out of the truck. In my opinion, they should have prorated the rest of the month and credited his estate. Instead, I ended up paying sixty five dollars for something I have no idea...horrible experience....

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer Support. The module on my installed unit went out. Took me 3 days to finally talk to a live person, the 'live chat' is ALWAYS out, and when you talk to them you can't understand what their saying. I FINALLY got a replacement unit and it worked for a whopping 8 days then went out again. I've been talking to their outsourced customer Support and have been getting a run around. It's been 6 days now and their still saying I need my unit calibrated even though my mechanic has already told them by phone AND email that the unit needs replaced. If you get a quality unit and don't have problems then go play the lottery cuz your one lucky sob.

What a Joke , terrible customer service . The intoxilock locked me out on my anti theft system 3x on my vehicle within having it installed less then a month. You cannot get anyone of them to help you . Even when asked to talked to a supervisor they were absolutely no help & completely rude. They want me to pay to tow my vehicle from my house 15 miles to the installation facility and then pay a fee for them to reset my my lock out due to my battery dieing because of the anti theft system being set off my the device ( Ive had to have my car unlocked by a locksmith 2x now ) . My dealership will not work on my vehicle or even look at it because of the device and if i remove the device to have it service they suspend my license again . I cannot believe how terrible this experience has been . Also everyone of the customer service representatives have a very strong accent and it is terrible to try and understand what in the world they are saying and they could care less about addressing the issue associated with there device . Also they knew they where no help so they made sure to not let me leave a review on the survey at the end of each time speaking with a associate ( its promoted at the begging of the call ) . I'm assuming that how they are able to get any good reviews at all ! Complete Scam.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. The device will “lockout” for issues out of the users control. And they won’t refund the money for their faulty equipment. I would leave negative star review if it was an option.

I had the interlock changed out 2 times. I have replaced the battery 14 times in the 2 years. It will drain your battery and you will spend hours and days missed out of work at battery stores and mechanics for the damages this device does to your vehicle. To top it off they charge you a lock out when the battery is dead $76 for their machine killing your battery. This company is a scam interlock is expensive enough without a company taking advantage of you trying to get the system on your car longer to make more money off you.do not go through them!!!!!!!

As a now former service center for Intoxalock, I can confirm just about every review I am reading. This is the 4th different IID company I have worked with in the last 15 years. Without a shadow of a doubt, they are also the worst. You will spend over 30 minutes on hold every time you call (if you are lucky). Their equipment DOES kill batteries. I have had many clients have a brand new battery dead within a month or two. The "customer service" on our end is just as bad as that of the client's end.

Thieves. Steal over and over and over. Just got in my car passed started it. The thing immediately says failed all while my car is running. Counts down for no reason. I blow, pass again. Now it's giving me the 4 days. I went got it unlocked. Over the they admitted the device Fuc#ed up. I have to pay the fees. Also this is my 7-8th lock out. 2 tows. They literally just steal money whenever they feel like it
