My experience with Jetline Holidays was good except for one issue. My wife and I stayed at the Victoria in London, England. Per our contract with Jetline we were supposed to have breakfast included. When we arrived we were informed the kitchen would be closed for breakfast by staff. We complained to Jetline they said their supplier refused to give us a discount since no breakfast was served. I feel it is Jetlines responsibility to reimburse us since we had a contract from them. If I don’t get a refund I will not use Jetline again.

We booked 18 days in Italy in April and & May this year. Price was 3200 per person for Rome, Florence, Venice, Capri, Ischia, and Sorrento. Hotel with breakfast in 4 of the cities and Hotel including breakfast & dinner in Ischia for 6 nights! , Airfare was included from Dallas with train transfers between Rome, Florence and Venice, and airfare between Venice and Naples. In Naples transfers from the airport and ferries to Ischia and Capri were also included. We had to book our own transfers from Rome airport and from train stations to the hotels but it was pretty cheap. We also had to book our own tours and day trips but that was easy also. So maybe we just got lucky but everything was furnished as advertised and customer service was very helpful when needed. You just have to understand exactly what is included and what is not when you book your holiday. We had an incredible time!

Of course I booked my trip through Travel Zoo BEFORE I read all of the one-star negative reviews about Jetlines Vacations, but I wanted to share my experience, so far. My travel rep is Rony. He has been very responsive and accommodating to my many questions. First things first, there WILL be an upsale when you book. The cheap rate is never available. We ended up paying $400 more pp for our 6 night trip to Italy (Umbria, Tuscany, Rome with airfare and a rental car, free breakfast each day, and a winery tour). It still wasn't a bad price after all was said and done. But, just understand that you won't get that cheap rate. You will first be told you have it and then will get a phone call back telling you the supplier has said that one is no longer available, but there is "this one" for a higher price. I did not try to negotiate, but you probably can, kind of like buying a used car. The positive side to the upcharge for us, however, was that with the cheap rate we were going to have about 36 hours of layovers each way, with two stops of about 8 hours each. That was going to suck. The higher rate is 14 hours of total travel with one 3 hour layover. Also, we are now not with one of those ultra economy airlines that cancels flights regularly. That's worth the extra bucks right there. After all was paid and booked, I read the reviews about Jetliners and my heart sank. I lost a full night of sleep. Yikes. One I read was VERY helpful, however! They suggested that you get all of your reservation information and start calling/emailing those places (airline, hotel, rental car) and confirming your reservations with them directly. This took some work on my end, but was completely worth it. Our airline tickets were booked with Jetliners' email and phone, so I was not able to get onto the online booking management system which meant that we would not be able to do our own online check-in at the time of our trip. So, I just emailed customer service at the airline. They got right back to me, confirmed our tickets, and added my email to the list so I could do all online work. That was a relief. We still have one hotel (one night reservation) that is not showing our reservation, and Jetlines keeps telling me that it won't show up until 72 hours before our reservation (nervous anyone?), which seems odd since the other two accommodations have our reservations already and even allowed me to make my specific room requests. I will stay on that final hotel, for sure. Worst case, if they end up not having a room for us when we get there, we will just get a hotel room at the airport (hotels are pretty cheap) since we are flying out the next day anyway. So, my advice? Confirm EVERYTHING directly! Make yourself a doc with all accommodations' confirmation numbers, ticket numbers, addresses, email and tele number info, etc., so you have it handy should there be a problem. Next piece of advice GET TRAVEL INSURANCE! From reading the negative one-star reviews, it seems that most of those who got stung did not have travel insurance. You are not going to get your money back from Jetliners if your trip gets delayed/cancelled, etc. It stays so in their terms and conditions. Read those carefully! I get travel insurance for even the smallest of things, like local concert tickets. You just never know what is going to happen. Also, many of those negative reviews were during Covid. Travel insurance now even has pandemic coverages. Third, pay for your arrangements with a credit card that has additional travel insurance. Yes, these are all extra expenses that you don't wan to shell out. But, do you want to travel to this destination? Do you want protection or not? Others have also commented that they didn't get their itineraries/vouchers until a few days before the trip. Jetlines emailed me all of my vouchers with reservation information just a couple of days after my booking. I will update my review after the trip. One thing I have learned is that from now on I will just look at what the "package" covers, which hotels we will be staying at, etc., and do the bookings myself. After looking at all the going rates, I don't know if we really saved any money by going through Travel Zoo/Jetliners. They did do the legwork, which was nice, but with all of the time I have put in after the booking to confirm that everything is actually booked, I could have done it myself. This is what I have always done with domestic travel and cruise excursions. But, this was my first trip abroad with airfare, hotels, etc., and I was nervous to do it myself. Now I have all of the information for how to do my own bookings and will do that, myself, in the future. I hope this was helpful!

I booked a trip to Italy in November 2021 leaving in April 2022. I was a little nervous about booking because everything was done over the phone. When I first called in, the rep tried to upsell me and said the good deal has lots of flights and long layovers. I didn’t care, I told him I can only afford the original deal. After holding while he spoke with a “manager” he was able to get us a better travel itinerary at the original price. as the trip approached I was still a bit wary about everything so I called them a few times 2 weeks before the trip. Glad I did because the original flight was canceled but they were able to switch us to a different one no problem. Our trip went smoothly as far as flights, hotels, and train transfers. Other than our second hotel not including breakfast when we were told it would, everything else was fantastic! Logan was our travel agent and he was great to work with.
