They are looters. Never deal with them. They take money for rubbish vehicles. Never tell you faults. Never tell about i correct mileages. Theh are looting people in broad daylight. They block the account and confiscate the deposit if u argue. Piece of garbage this company is.

Buy at your own risk. Product bought not usable, a complete waste of money. They say products might be damaged and sold ‘as is’. You would at least expect to be able to use the product otherwise what’s the point?

Why so slow to ship the goods? A week and counting and its just a few items!!. Plus Anything sent from your Ireland location just shows up at my door with no prior dpd tracking, happened multiple times from the Ballymena branch, useless company.

Went on site, looked at the items, bid on one that I wanted. When it arrived the main part had been removed from the box. When I emailed johnnpye they sent out a replacement. It was a completely different model to the one that I wanted A much cheaper one. Not happy

Disappointed with the reviews. Came looking to get a nice German car under 10k. I was stupid enough to join but won't be stupid enough to bid.

This company need prosecuting, they are getting away with daylight robbery. Selling smashed and items with parts missing 99% of the items were literally rubbish, even included sweepings up, empty crisp packets and broken glass. Basically customers are paying good money to dispose of their rubbish. Contacted trading standards about this theft.

Item not as described. Stated fully functioning and under warranty. Item arrived with main parts missing i.e Wand and accessories. On the second time of switching it on the lights did not work. Reported this as soon as it arrived. Informed to fill out a form. 3 phone calls and 5 weeks letter I chased it again. I was put through to Marchington site where I spoke to a very arrogant and obnoxious person alive. Basically, he had emailed me twice, it was my fault the email replies had gone into my spam box and I had not picked them up. (This was due to the title of the message- it looked like spam). I refused to continue to converse with him. I had been told that I had to return the item at my cost, which I refused. I decided I was fed up with this and emailed the Site Manager (got name through LinkedIn) to state how bad the customer service was. Within 2 hours I had a reply and it was confirmed they would pay for the postage and give me a full refund. However, I was informed the product was checked twice, so I don't think they believed me!! I was refunded in full with 7 days. This was very stressful and frustrating and I would never use them again or recommend them. I have notified Trading Standards of their practices through Citizens Advice. I would recommend if you do use them and have a complaint go to the Site Director/Manager and report them to Trading Standards. All electrical items should be working and fit for purpose.

Hi.I purchased from John Pye a small job lot.Every item marked John Lewis but was total rubbish. When unpacked all items were marked, not for resale, damaged, display only. Some items were actually broken but disguised when displayed. Every item was only fit for the rubbish tip. How can John Lewis use this auction site to sell items clearly marked by themselves not for resale but then allow them to be auctioned to the public knowing the items are total trash. Why not on the web site are there no indication that the items will have to be taken to a rubbish tip? Contacted both John Pye and John Lewis.Neither are interested in the public.Everything hidden behind.View or sold as seen. Why do John Pye hide the damage with the items and make no mention of it on their web site. Most of their sales are from the trusting public and most cannot attend viewing. I blame the companies that allow this to happen with their write offs. No more John Lewis no more John Pye. Contacted Citizens Advice Trading Standards. BEWARE!

Bought a navy padded long coat - no issues on photo or description. When arrived, has a large security tag on side of coat (I was advised when queried to visit a store to get it removed !! ) I then discovered one of the sleeves was sewn up and there was a large slit across the back of the coat making it unwearable unless you have one arm and are not visiting shops so the sale alarm goes off or you don’t mind people tapping you on the shoulder to say the back of your coat is slashed. Buyer beware , you don’t say !!! Expensive coat for the bin. No redress or apology at all

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! John Pye sold me fake AirPods Pro, and refused to let me return them for refund! I knew the AirPods were fake as a female voice would say "connected" and the writing on the AirPods was blurry. Their customer services rep repeatedly lied to me saying the female voice can occur on real AirPods, which it cannot!! I sent her a website that stated that the female voice is an indication that they are fake. She again refused to accept they were fake. I got the AirPods inspected by an Apple Genius who confirmed they were fake. The Apple Genius sent me an email stating they were fake, I forwarded this onto the rep and she still refused to accept they were fake!! The audacity to try and argue with what Apple themselves had stated!! In the end I contacted my bank and performed a chargeback. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!

They sell products in a box which looks great from outer appearance. I was completely disgusted after brining a joblot for £13000 + their buyers premium. In my opinion I will completely avoid buying anything from this company.

Bought a computer monitor from John Pye shown in its box. On arrival, all packing was intact & sealed in poly bags, just as if it were new. On removal from packing, the item was covered in a greasy, sticky substance, as was the stand. I had clearly bought a pig in a poke. I cleaned the screen & hooked it up to my computer , switched it on &.......nothing but an orange power light but no screen lighting. I tried both VGA & HDMI leads without success. I Googled to finf what the orange light was & found it showed an internal problem. I called JP & was told to expect a call from Customer Services. I then received an email to tell me there was nothing they could do. I was told that they have umpteen callsa day with the same complaint as mine. I's lost £55 & all JP CustomerServices could do was cry crocodile tears. I'm fuming as I pack the thing up to take it to the tip. I recommend that you do not use this company who clearly benefit, very nicely, from other people's misery. It's immoral. Geoff Young

Ballymena branch won Regatta camp bed wasn't advertised as 'Damaged' took it home it was unusable. Emailed John Pye looking refund waste of time didn't want to know. If you like 'damaged' goods you'll love John Pye's! I wouldn't recommend John Pye auctions! I'll not be returning & I'll be closing my account. PLEASE DON'T REPLY JOHN PYE I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOUR EASY WAY OUT TERMS & CONDITIONS! Mark Pearson

I really don't know how John pye get away with knowingly selling total rubbish I bought a cage of lighting items , when I collected it I found out they were B&Q returns not one item was any good, they were either broken, faulty or had missing parts, we ended up taking the lot to the tip, so basically we paid for the pleasure of the disposal of B&Qs rubbish, which they should have just binned !!
