“Customer service at Just Eat is non-existent, they employ people to quote customer policy but with no intention of helping when there's a problem with an order. 50% of my orders through this company required me to contact them and 0% was dealt with professionally . I will now collect my takeaway from the restaurant and will never use Just Eat”

“Very Bad service today, we wait for a food almost 2 hour and we got so many missing food,the driver delivered a spilled drinks .By looking at the reviews I dont think i will get refund.Never ever gonna use Just eat now.”

“The food never arrived, customer support was terrible, refund hasn't happened. I made an order with a restaurant that uses Just Eat delivery and the food never arrived. The app just said the food was on its way. Trying to get support was atrocious. There is no obvious way to contact Just Eat. I eventually found a chat service who told me the food had been marked as delivered despite the app saying it was still on its way. They told me I'd get a refund and gave me an email to contact their support team. More than a week later and the refund hasn't arrived and the email address they have me doesn't actually exist. I have found an email form but I have had no response from that. Before Just Eat brought in their own delivery service they were an alright company. Restaurants generally want your custom so will actually respond to you, Just Eat just don't care. I have had loads of issues with Just Eat's delivery service, this is the one that's stopped me using them.”

“Really poor service, driver according to app was travelling from Bham City Centre and then the signal was lost. No communication, app was saying food order is with driver but nothing turned up, just an app to liaise with. All I want is a full refund for the food which never turned up and could not even track.”

“Disgraceful, ordered from McDonald’s ( never again …. they are useless too , driver turns up clearly not our order as the bags looked too small , partner handed food straight back thinking he would bring our order from the car … nope he just drove off , that was 5 days ago , charged £30 no food no refund shame on you leaving us starving , bad bad bad take note people it could be you !!!!!!!!”

“My whole evening was turned upside down. I thought I would have an easy night in with takeaway food/delivery with my kids. Food didn’t turn up, no one to call other than vendor themselves who advised cancelling and picking up the food myself which had been sat waiting for more than half an hour. I wasn’t sure how to actually get there let alone where to park, and started panicking whilst on the road. I am so distraught, dinner wasn’t great by the time we got to it and I just cried my eyes out when I got home. Forget customer service too - it’s non-existent. Don’t ever use Just Eat, I’m not even sure if I’m going to get any money back considering I paid twice and can’t get hold of anyone. Oversold, underdelivered (would have given a 0 rating if that was an option) and resulting in a traumatised customer.”

“Gruphub is a piece of sh*t company. I ordered, paid, and waited. 2 hours later, 45 min after the store closed I cancelled my order (that was never coming) they offered to return my $ but that was the money I had to eat that day. Should I wait 5-7 days to eat, not eat and wait till the next day? They have plenty of $ and should return it at the time and they can wait for the refund. I tried to speak to several "managers" and they just said sorry but we can not escalate the call. Perhaps they should find an ethics group and a local call center”

“Never on time. Restaurants have to suffer with bad reviews because Just Eat delivers cold food. Hate it when a small order takes more than 1 and a half hours to be delivered.”

“All the drink spilled out all in the bag and went everywhere. Contacted just eat for a refund for the drink and was refused despite using their services many times in the past without any issues. Never use them again. They are happy to take your money but not compensate when things go wrong.”

“Terrible service the order was delivered somewhere I don't know where and the customer service refers you to about 3 different people before you are given a refund which will arrive in about a week no vouchers nothing. Meanwhile, I have to sit with a slightly emptier bank account for a week with no service to be seen this has happened 5 times now and if you complain on the chat they just say oh thats not my department! Horrible”

“Terrible Customer Service - Impossible to contact apart from on a weird app or chat - Of which there is no record. Food delivered late, and missing part of order. It has ruined my evening with the effort of having to contact JustEat Customer Services who then argued with me and wanted photographs of missing food - Awful - just an advertising company WHO DO NOT CARE”

“When it works it’s ok. When it doesn’t work their customer service is atrocious! There is no way to speak to a real person and their ‘chat to us’ feature involves talk to a person stuck on a script, if the answer isn’t on their script they say you haven’t said anything for a while and sign off. Very poor service would never recommend.”
