"Just thieves" is more like it! 30 Jul 2022 17:35 ordered...nine items from Asda via (Just Eats website) only three items arrived in a plastic bag with a red card from Asda saying...Sorry that item's were missing from my order, out of stock. Fair enough i thought, "slightly miffed but ok!" so...I applied for a refund for said "missing" items via the site. Answer: I've reviewed your case and your account, including the history of previous experiences you have had with your Just Eat orders. Based on this review, your request for a [voucher/refund] has been declined at this time. "previous experiences"!!! only one! KFC (undelivered) i tracked it on my PC miraculously disappeared 50 meters from my home address? never to be seen again, to which i did get a full refund though. So...I'm out £13.14p not a great deal but still "purloin!" Shame on you! From an honest,disgruntled,disabled man who likes to over Punctuate!

We received two generic emails to my daughter which are an absolute joke, they decided they will not refund her because she didn't take a photograph of a wrong order, she ordered food through the Just East app on 27th July, and immediately with our help I hasten to add, attempted to right the situation with Kentucky Fried Chicken in Whitstable and Just Eat immediately that she realised her order wasn't right and she had received someone else's much smaller order! KFC themselves were hopeless and just told my husband that we had to take it up with Just Eat, even though it was the restaurant that had supplied incorrect food and admitted the wrong order must have gone with the right receipt, it was obviously not a Just Eat problem at that stage, but, KFC were not interested that her order had been mixed up with someone else's order and instead of what she ordered for herself and friends she received a tiny bag of fries and a few pieces of chicken, the food was cold to add insult to injury when she had ordered £20 worth of chicken, wraps and so forth. KFC said to my husband that she needed to order again and they wouldn't collect the wrong food. So, that was exactly what she did, we tried to contact Just Eat at the exact time this was happening as well by phone which is virtually impossible because they don't advertise their telephone number anywhere, and when we did find a number there was an answering machine. We sent emails instead via her App, several in fact, and we just received "we are looking into your issue" messages (absolutely no message saying take a photo!!) BUT in spite of several more complaint messages through the App they took until 1st August to send this email MHAjay Kumar (Just Eat UK) 1 Aug 2022, 20:05 BST I'm sorry there was an issue with your Just Eat order. To help resolve this, I'm going to forward this matter to Investigations Team. They'll send you a separate email asking for good-quality photographs of the order you received, as well as any receipts that came with the order. Just so you know, you'll need to reply to that email within 24 hours, otherwise, we'll have to close this claim. Once our Investigations Team receives your email response, they'll look into your claim in more detail and contact you via the email address registered on your account as soon as they have an update for you. So 5 days later Just Eat ask us to take photos of the wrong order, how would we have predicted this!!! And today 5th August she gets another email: I'm sorry you weren't happy with your recent order, we take these things very seriously (NO YOU DONT) so when there's something wrong with an order, we always ask customers to send us a good quality photograph (5 DAYS LATER) this allows us to look into things in more detail. As your unable to send us a photo we wont be able to look into this further on this occasion. Thank you for your understanding. I informed them that my husband and I are frequent users of Just Eat and should consider the loss of all of our future custom as well, of course, they couldn't of cared less. I will never again use Just Eat as a result of their disgraceful unprofessional policies, this is what happens when companies get too big, their service gets diabolical.

They dont refund the kfc order that the driver never delivered.They are thieves, scam app. We should report this to trading standards stealing with people.The app itself is a flawed, scam, useless , faecal idea. If i will be given negative trillion poop star i will.

Cold food £5 gesture refund to Just Eat account, £18.21 order, this is not good enough, might as well not have bothered, will use a different food delivery company now as Just Eat delivery’s are consistently cold and running late

Food parcel arrived damaged. Food escaping from the container. Refused to accept and after wasting some time on the Just Eat website, I was eventually offered a refund. This turned out to be a credit note - totally unacceptable. Now endeavouring to get a bank refund. Will not use Just Eat again - will certainly not recommend their service.

Rubbish, you complain, they email back saying give us a couple days, get make to you a couple days later saying, sorry its too late, you should have told us within 24 hours. They will happily let delivery partners deliver incorrect orders that take 3 hours and 21 mins to be delivered and still back them, refusing any form of compensation. Stick to deliveroo and uber eats as they actually deal with the issue there and then.

Disgraceful customer service! The food got delivered to the wrong building, I finally tracked it down after an hour of trying to find it, left a bad review from the restaurant. I couldn’t eat it though I tried to microwave it however because the pizza itself was so hard they must of re heated it before they sent it, overall it was not edible. Ideally I would like a full refund or I’m gunna have to look at alternate methods of making sure more people don’t order from you as this is just not on!! I was gifted 5 pounds! To my account Do you think this is acceptable, because I don’t! I will not be using this service again if they can not supply a full refund for an order that is not edible. I will write about this on as many platforms as I can.

Service was great. Then one day it just stopped working. Used the app, website, different devices, different payment methods, transaction never went through. My card works fine anywhere else. Tried contacting support and they were as useless as a chocolate teapot. Clearly they don't want my custom, so will go elsewhere, not an issue...

I ordered food from just eat and did not get It. it showed that my food was delivered on the app, which was strange. I looked for every means possible to contact them but couldn't. I had to click on how to do I report a safety, health or privacy issue before getting across to customer service. They are the worst delivery service ever. I asked for a refund because I went through a lot before gaining access to them

After an hour and a half of waiting we had no food delivery, no contact from the restaurant and no contact from just eat. Apparently there were no drivers and no customer service either.

My McDonalds orders nearly always were missing an item. At first, i did nothing. Kids liked so carried on ordering. I've only received about 2 correct orders out of about 30. I start claiming back items not received, about 5% of the order, but more like 1 or 2% of what I spend with just-eat. On 4th or 5th claim, my refund request was refused because I'd claimed too many times. Company policy apparently. But apparently not company policy to ensure items are delivered as paid for. And apparently totally fine totally fine to keep the money where goods not delivered. Speaks volumes! Awful company that obviously doesn't care about their customers!

Never get the orders right. (which is the fault of the restaurant) but just eat completely dodge theor responsibility when it comes to securing refunds. They wont answer any emails or calls if they can avoid it, and if they do because you threaten to tske them to trading standards their response is unprofessional and quite frankly disgusting. Will never use again. They are arrogant and pride themselves on poor service with no accountability

I chose to ignore the bad reviews i read about just eat, well that was a mistake, they certainly live up to their bad reputation. They dont deliver your food and refuse any refunds. The customer service is really bad as well, no information on the decision making they dont let you talk to anyone. Terrible company hope they get the criminal convictions they deserve.

Avoid avoid avoid!!!!!!!! Scam scam scam!!! I wonder how the restaurant even use this shitttt company. They are theft!!! Take the money from your account and do not even deliver the food! Steal it for their self! I called the restaurants too but they said the driver left about 25mins ago which even on the app was showing but didn’t deliver the food and send notifications of delivered. NOT ONLY THIS they also charge you next day for noting. If you don’t check your account they keep charging you. Plzzzzz avoid them! THEY DID THIS TO ME BEFORE TOO BUT I was like it’s human error it’s fine. But they have done it soo many times now so NO human error they are SCAM and steal your money purposely.

AWFUL AWFUL COMPANY THEIR DRIVER HIT MY CAR, REFUSED TO GIVE DETAILS. HAVE PHOTOS AND INDEPENDENT WITNESS. MANAGER NEVER CALLS BACK, CAN'T SPEAK TO ANYONE. LIVE CHAT IS A WASTE OF TIME. IF THEIR DRIVER COLLIDES INTO YOU, CALL POLICE AS THEY DON'T GIVE DETAILS. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!

We just received an order where almost half the items were not what we ordered! We were refused a refund, seemingly because we have had refunds in the past. We have sent evidence each time so it is clearly not that we are scamming them but the restaurants keep getting it wrong. Absolutely appalling customer service! Only order from them if you don’t care what you get to eat because they won’t be refunding you for the restaurant’s mistakes!

Customer service is a disgrace !! Food never turned up , gave me re fund but 6 days later so was 20 quid down on my girlfriend's birthday ! Along with no food in the morning , had to walk half an hour to restaurant just to get told that they can't do anything, spent all morning running about when all I wanted was a quick takeaway !! Just eat isn't quick they are weak useless people that don't give a f about anyone else but themselves , didn't even offer me a free meal for their inconvenience! I mean a policeman would atleast give a lift home out of good will but just eat will Rob you blind Good luck just eat !! Go f yourselves

AVOID AVOID AVOID. I as many other people used this company for years solely due to its convenience. But after 2 run ins with just eat over the span on 30 days where my orders have gone missing they are completely unreliable and group it’s loyal customers into the fraudulent section of their clientele. Absolutely disgusting this company has made hundreds off me over many years. As soon as something goes wrong I am a liar and a fraud over a poxy Big Mac? They employ anyone people who steal your food and people who clearly can’t read a house sign or street post. I am taking this further with just eat. It’s not about the money at this stage I feel disrespected as to how they can immediately class me as a fraud after years of loyalty. It’s all good with just eat until something goes wrong. I have had hundreds of orders where everything is perfect and I cannot fault anything at all. But these 2 experiences have made the whole ordeal not worth going through again. This company never accept responsibility and for that their buisness will fail at some point. I will be changing my services over to Uber eats who you can see the name of the driver and also contact the driver if needed. That way I’m sure if any future orders go walk abouts I can do something more about it. Disgusting company full of attitude and incompetent employees
