KF are out and out SCAMMERS - Proven. Message to Chris Tranter. The only defence a bank has is if they can prove that they at least queried your attempted transfer before making it. If not, the subsequent liquidation, and the liquidation of the parent company KKH Holdings Limited, can have no bearing on your claim. The scam occurred at the point of transfer, when they were trading. (my email address incidentally is jgeccles@sky.com). Don't forget to submit your ActionFraud - Police report. Good luck. John

John Eccles, could you please let me contact you via email or by phone. I also bank with HSBC but at this stage they are unwilling to help?

Kenton Finance has now officially been wound up as of 21st December 2022 and is not now trading. A liquidator will be appointed in the new year. If you are an investor you should be contacted by the liquidators in due course.

Some information for anyone worried about their investment. Yesterday 21/12/2022, the High Court agreed to wind up KKH Holdings. The company did not attend court or provide any defence. KKH Holdings are now in liquidation and the court will provide liquidators in due course. Once this is done they should contact all creditors directly.

I followed John’s advice re: submitting a fraud claim specifically mentioning push payment scam. I gave them ALL emails and communications and the DocuSign contract I’d signed as evidence. They investigated it but I just found out today that the bank can’t refund me my money because Northern Provident Investments (the company I paid my funds into - not sure if everyone going via Kenton Finance did that too?) are now in liquidation. So, I have contacted the liquidators directly stating that I am owed my capital and any interest. If that fails, I have to rely on the FSCS investigation into Northern Provident Investments that will determine if customers will be eligible to their compensation scheme or not. If yes, I should get my money back. If not, then my final option is Financial Ombudsman which I have submitted a complaint to today, but that is targeted at Kenton Finance for their total disregard for all of us and their absolute fuckery. What a nightmare.

Just been reading through previous reviews, all telling the same sorry story. With the exception of 'Sammy', I cannot see any evidence that my earlier advice (re Authorised Push Payment [APP] scams) has been taken up. I urge all of you to follow my suggestion asap. This guy is an out and out thief and deserves to be prosecuted accordingly. As well as contacting your bank you should consider filing a report with ActionFraud-Police - just Google them and follow their easy instructions. Good luck everyone.

To all fellow KF investors, whose tales of woe are uncannily similar - nay identical - to my own sorry experience I would advise as follows. Forget the emails. Forget the telephone calls. Your money is gone. What you must do is contact your bank as soon as possible and explain you are the victim of an Authorised Push-Payment (APP) scam. Tell them that you require them to reimburse you with the full amount 'invested' under the government-backed Contingent Reimbursement Model Code. I did just that and received a full reimbursement of a large transfer in a matter of weeks. Thank you HSBC!

Like others I am in the same boat. I invested with Kenton and was assured that the money was safe and will receive my maturity payment on the maturity date. I received some interest payments at the beginning but then they were stopped and when I called them they said I will receive them at the end together with my maturity payment. I have now reached the end of my two year bond and I have heard nothing from Kenton. I have called and left several messages but no reply.I cannot get a reply to emails and they do not answer the phone. If anyone finds a solution to get our money back please let me know.

I invested with Kenton after being phoned repeatedly. I was assured that the money was safe. I received two monthly payments and then they called to say that the account was being switched to a compounded 'end of bond' payment offering a better return. I have now reached the end of my two year bond and I have heard nothing from Kenton. All the email contacts I had for them, apart from the info@ no longer work. I cannot get a reply to emails and they do not answer the phone. I'm going to join the Facebook action group but I fear that all my hard-earned money is gone! Do not go near this company. They are a bunch of con artists.

In the same boat as others below. No reply to emails or phone calls. Bond matured this month but no communication about the funds. Also the website gives an error when you try to see your investments. Will try to talk to the bank to get more details as others have mentioned below. Also there is a group on FB named Kenton Finance Action Group. Please join if you guys are in the same situation.

Took out a bond with Kenton finance two years ago it should have matured this month Been trying to contact Nathan at the office number for over a week now trying 4/5 times each day Have spoken to at least 10 receptionists who very politely try to put me through to one of the five “Agent’s “ With no response ;emails got the same results Looks like they are still operating for new investors but are blanking anyone who wants to discuss bonds that have matured Struggling to know where to go next ? Would the Financial Ombudsman help?

Dear fellow investors, I have taken advice from a licensed Insolvency Practitioner who has completed some work for me and the conclusions reached are as follows: 1. KKH Holdings limited trading as Kenton Finance is NOT in Administration or Liquidation. 2. The email I received from JP Insolvency Services is a scam, we have spoken with the director of jpis.co.uk an IT Data Management Solutions for the Insolcency market and these documents are NOT from them and they are not even Insolvency Practitioners. A company in Dubai have used their details to contact investors and we currently do not know how the scammers have got our details. Have the managed to hack KKH Holdings Limited or have KKH Holdings supplied our information to the scammers? 3. The attachments from the Insolvency Services are fake, they are not from the Insolvency Service. The documents are full of errors and not the sort of documents that the Insolvency Service would use. I am looking at engaging a law firm Hill Dickinson Solicitors (a national firm of solicitors and the solicitor we are engaging is a specialist Insolvency Solicitor) to pursue KKH Holdings Limited trading as Kenton Finance and also to hold the directors to account. It would be helpful if the investors come together and bring a group action. Can you please contact me at tonyreevesKF@outlook.com if you are interested in joining the group action. We as a group would then engage Hill Dickinson Solicitors.

Been concerned about my investments in KKH Holdings for a while now. Despite numerous attempts to contact them by phone, email and recorded delivery letter, since February, they have failed to respond. This lack of communication obviously raises suspicion. Interestingly, out of the blue, I got a call from an Arthur Smith, who appeared to be oblivious to any problems. He undertook to look into and resolve my issues. That was 3 weeks ago, and I've not heard from him since! I guess he's up to speed now!! If anybody is interested I've established an Action Group on FB at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1289780238424465 as a place to gather and distribute info.

BE VERY CAREFUL! I also received a phone call out of the blue from an insolvency agency 8 months ago who turned out to be a scam. They say they will help you get your money back. Whatever you do, don't give them any information.

Dear all, it looks like a lot of us are in the same boat. I couldn’t wait any longer and went to my bank for advice. I was told that the bank KKH holdings use ( Northern Provident ) is covered by the FCA and is currently under investigation by the FSCS. Because of this they are not excepting any claims at this stage ?? I strongly recommend that you contact your own bank and explain your situation. The FSCS covers you up to £85,000. My bank sounded confident that I would get my money back ?? Good luck

DO NOT wait for your bond to mature because it WONT. Do whatever you can to try to get your money back NOWl. Ring your bank and report it as a scam because Kenton finance are nothing but a scam. They are no longer communicating with anyone and have no intention of returning your promised returns.
