Book with Kiwi and you walk into a minefield KIWI is an internet based travel agent incorporated in the Czech Republic but, if you have a problem, you will find yourself talking to some disinterested person in Asia and you will just go round in circles. The company's underlying Terms and Conditions of Business are extremely complicated and appear drafted to put up barriers to refunds. I spent many months trying to get money back and lost £578. There are many other travel agent to use. Be smart and book with another travel agent. If you book with Kiwi after reading this and all the other negative reviews you should not be disappointed if you find you have lost money - you have been warned.

Only good thing about Kiwi are the deals you can find and pay upfront. Aside from that, I was left without an update to an itinerary correction, and I wasn't advised I was involuntarily bumped from an overbooked flight, despite the Kiwi agent "confirming" to the airline they had advised me of the change. Issues on both of the flights booked with Kiwi. One cost me an additional $550 and a missed flight, the other cost me a 4.5hr delay and struggle to coordinate new pickup at destination at 1am. Do not recommend and will not be using Kiwi again. UPDATE 3 Months later, we are into December, and Shruti, the agent who was arranging partial credits for issue 1 and further credits for issue 2, has disappeared, no further response, every time I reach out to Kiwi chat, I get the same response, that my request has been passed to the team & someone will get back to me, then weeks continue to pass.

A scam. Do not buy with this company. They cancelled our ticket and we had to buy a new one. We are now claiming the money with lawyers

Like another user I would also suggest 0 star if given a option. I have never seen such a fraudulent company. I lost 1436USD. The worst company ever. I am claiming now with lawyers.

I would suggest 0 star if given a option. I have never seen such a fraudulent company. I lost nearly 400 $ by suggesting wrong transfers. I travelled to Cambodia via Malaysia. Kiwi.com suggested Air Asia from Chennai to KL and Malaysian Airlines from kL to Phnom Phen. The transit time was 2 hrs but since both the flights arrive and depart from different terminals in KL i need to have a visa to move between terminals. I came to know only at Chennai Airport. I was trying to contact their whatsapp customer care but no response. This site recommends wrong information, hence i want people to be aware and away from this KIWI.COM

I would not recommend Kiwi.com after a disappointing experience. I faced a significant change in my itinerary, with a date alteration and a 22-hour layover, and unfortunately, the team's response lacked consideration and adequate solutions. This lack of commitment to customer satisfaction makes my experience discouraging and not worthy of recommendation

KIWI people cancelled my booking prior to 12 Hours of my flight stating that they have made a mistake. All they will send will be an apology. My vacation was ruined because i trusted this website. Don't even think about booking anything from them

Kiwi.com is a scam and rip off. They nickel and dime every aspect of travel. Technically, a person is allowed to cancel within 20 minutes, but this is not the case. Ultimately, their flights, once you add evrerything, are double the price that you can find elsewhere and their customer service is horrible. Any other flight booking service is better!

I had booked a ticket to newyork from mumbai through kiwi But because of father’s demise i coudnt travel Even after trying continuously for a month kiwi is not responding properly regarding refund nor refunded a single penny till now Not recommended to anyone for booking AIRLINE IS READY TO REFUND BUT KIWI IS NOT PROCESSING REFUND

It is my new mission to do my part to take down this platform. Like the sheer incompetency of this platform. They scheduled a flight that left at 5:50am but the connecting gate does not open till 6:00am. And after waiting 7hrs overnight to find this was the case, absolutely LIVID. I had to pay over $800 in replacement flights to and fro. Not only will I be contacting the airlines that are listed, will be leaving a review at the airports as well concerning this platform to flag them. They are absolutely garbage !!!!!!!!!!!!

Kiwi is by far the WORST AND MOST UNETHICAL travel company I have ever used. I would not wish my worst enemy ever have to deal with these people. I've had four supposed flight cancellations in one trip, each one asking for more money to rebook. I've paid almost double the original amount. They just emailed me telling me my flight tomorrow has been "re-scheduled" by 24 hours and I need to pay more again to rebook. The airline however knows nothing about it, I'm already checked into my flight and have boarding passes. AND, we're flying with 4 others on the same flight (who booked direct) who also confirmed there is NO flight problems. This company is a complete joke and tries to scam people out of their money. Over and over and over again. Do not ever , EVER, EVER use this company.

They cancel the flight and not return the money. Theirs reply was that we confirmed the new schedule (13h difference!!!) There was a button I UNDERSTAND. To them is the same as I confirm. Never click that button!!

Very terrifying experience. They changed my flight and the options were literally double the price and double the time. If I choose the refund they will not fully refund me and I have to wait for 3 months for my money. What is this?????? Do not use their service... Pay a little more somewhere else and get a guaranteed flight and service.

Be careful and think before you book through this site. Their site mentions if you pay extra and wish to cancel then they’ll deduct 20 percent. But they actually mean 20 percent off FLIGHTS only no refund on their administration costs which mine was around £73. So altogether I paid £304 and I got refunded £180. They are professionals tricking people. I explained to customer service that it should clearly state with the charges involved before you proceed. Manager was supposed to call me within 24 hours but still waiting, and it’s day 3. Also no point paying extra should you wish to cancel your ticket they trick you. The extra you’ll pay you’ll only get that refunded and they keep the rest. Never using these lot again. Read the conditions clearly before proceeding. Date of experience: 20 November 2023

Just stop being a rip off in the name of "Kiwi.com guarantee". Had my flights cancelled and you guys jumped on this opportunity to make another $1500 . Thanks to Singapore airlines /air new zealand for booking entire trip from their end with no cost. Thieves

The company is not always legally authorised to sell flights on behalf of airlines. I booked Ryanair though Kiwi, thinking I was getting a great deal. The reality was I had a worried ½ an hour on the Ryanair website, re- registering the flight details because Kiwi hadn't used my email address to book the flight, and also a different booking reference. Took a while to skim through the Kiwi site to find the correct info, but had I not checked straight away, I would have potentially had to pay additional fees to Ryanair. My advice, if something looks too good to be true, it probably is. Book direct or with a more reputable cost cutting company.

Basically Kiwi.com is a legally created machine for scamming people hidden behind nice UX experience. They created really compelling and easy to use website, however if there is any change on the side of a airline provider when it comes to your booked flight, they will make you bleed money. They will only let you do changes which will result in then keeping basically 80-100% of originally booked ticket and this is how their business model works. I had to book several flights in advance of several months and I was so unfortunate to have changes in all of them done by airline. And the only options Kiwi.com offered me and allowed me to do would result in me paying basically 80% premium on top of already paid tickets. Hiding themselves behind policies which are not written to cover their risks, but to let them keep the money. (For some of the flights I had flexible ticket package, still they dont care if airline does any change, flexible ticket is not applicable anymore). After doing a bit of research and despite them proactively trying to prevent me from doing so, I have agreed with airlines directly to change my flights which resulted in NO additional payments. So I saved 80% of money just by calling kiwi as a liars. So I suggest to pay always few percent extra or even less customer friendly competitors to Kiwi.com. Being Czech, I am ashamed the company is praised as one of the best tech startups in CZ.

Terrible experience!!! I booked a flight on the Kiwi website from 23rd Dec to 28th Dec. Then I got offered a discount for using the app. When I got the app it asked if I wanted to continue with the same booking so I did. Only after checking out I noticed it was not 23rd Dec but 23 January. I needed the flight reschedule but they wouldn't help with that either, I was ready to pay extra but they refused to help. I was going to upgrade my ticket but now it was cancelled. There's no winning with them. And it wasn't even my fault it was a bug with the app. Customer service said repeatedly that there's nothing to be done. They have not even acknowledged that it was a mistake with the app. I immediately canceled so I can get a refund but my booking got confirmed in seconds. I was told by the customer support that the airline has the money already. I contacted the airline and they said it takes longer for the payment to reach them. This website is a scam. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Use the website to find the flights and buy directly from the airline.

Very BAD!! No customer service or support!! If you might have a problem they will promise to take care but actually they don’t do nothing and they will leave you on your own!! They know how to take your money and than they do t mind you at all!!
