Don’t book with them as is no point! they do not respect it!! Booked the car for 10 am for a break check, and break pads replacement at Cumbernauld Kwik Fit. Dropped the car at 9:50 ( i was the first customer at the center) and told the guy going to wait at nearby coffee place. At 11:10 since nobody called, walked back to discover they not even moved my car. Instead they were dealing with other customers. Wasted 1h from my weekend! Disgraceful! toke car and left and will never bring business to them!!!

Kwik fit Anniesland branch, Avoid if you are female as you will be patronised and your intelligence will be insulted by the manager who quite frankly is not fit for purpose.He needs to complete a customer care course asap.Lack of care for customers cars.We will never use them again.

Arranged for my car to have an Aircon refill. They said there was a problem and they could not do it. I paid by PayPal so asked if they could do an oil and filter change for me. They offers to carry out a full service for £200. I was taking the car to France so agreed. The usual "upsale" happened and two tyres were fitted and the total came to circa £500. I drove the car from the garage and the oil light came on. I returned to the garage and they told me they never fill the oil up to the top as it's a diesel.? The man checked the oil level and it was well below the dipstick mark. He filled it up and said that it was now fine and wished me a safe drive to France. I made it as far as the M25 where the engine was making loud banging noises and the oil light came on. Limped to the Kwik Fit at Waltham. They were great. Did an oil change and told me not to drive it anymore as the engine was pretty much wrecked. They spoke to the Kwik Fit garage in Glossop where the service was done and asked the man if the oil light came on. The Glossop man said "yes, but I topped up the oil and it was ok". It was not Ok. £3000 pounds worth of damage was done to the engine because of lack of oil pressure. Kwik Fit say it's my fault for not having regular oil changes. I have the full service history even though they put the Glossop garage stamp on top of the last service stamp.???. Case is now with the Financial Ombudsman. In my opinion. A BUNCH OF COMPLETE COWBOYS. After weeks of not answering my complaints we are going to court. Go anywhere but Kwik Fit. Supply of Goods or Services Act. Reasonable care or Skill. A joke.

Quick fit did my tyre pressure in twickenham, the employee took my car and drove it in and I waited in reception when the car had been done my car was parked facing outwards so I come behind the car and didn’t notice what they had done ,i thought nothing of it untill i got home and noticed my car had been scraped on the left side of my bumper (in the colour if the Kwik fit work shop) the next day i went back to show them the damaged which one of the employees had done,walking in the workshop i noticed that the left side of their workshop had wet paint,my car was also damaged on the left side...all managers including their operation manager had denied it.!!l!!!!!@twickenham kwik fit

Took my car in to Kwik Fit Wigston for a service and while there asked if they could investigate the left indicator which was ‘ticking’ rapidly to let me know there was a problem – left rear indicator was not lighting up. Told them I had tested the bulb and it was fine, but it seemed to be a connection or electrical problem that was stopping it from lighting up. They said they would investigate. They didn’t. When I collected the car later I was assured everything was fine and the service schedule had ‘exterior lights and lamps’ marked as green. I was led to believe the problem with the indicator had been a very quick and minor fix that had been sorted out as part of the service. Drove home and the left indicator was still ‘ticking’ faster and the rear one was still not lighting up. So the technician either didn’t check the operation of the indicators properly, didn’t check at all, or, to put it bluntly, lied. I wish I had turned around and taken the car straight back but I wasn’t feeling very well and didn’t like the thought of trying to confront several male staff members on my own. I made a formal complaint and received a rather patronising email from the area manager saying “if there was an issue at the time of service we would have happily rectified this at the time for you” – so the indicator magically started working during the service, did it, despite not working for two days before and still not working immediately after?! Not a chance. How was this issue missed – or ignored – when I had specifically asked for it to be looked into? Kwik Fit did at least send me a cheque for the costs of petrol for a family member’s car and bus travel which I had to use while waiting for my car to be fixed at an independent garage, but this was sent “without any acceptance of liability.” Not once has anyone offered an apology, provided an explanation, or answered my questions, despite my sending numerous further emails. Since Kwik Fit now appears to be ignoring me, I will be sharing this experience on all the review sites I can find. I no longer have faith in Kwik Fit and will never use them again.

Words can't describe how impressed I was with the service I received on 21st July 2019 at the Peterborough branch located on Maskew Avenue. We arrived just before they opened but the staff were very happy to check our flat tyre straight away. The gentleman who assisted us was very polite and fixed and fitted our tyre very quickly. He was so kind and really helped us save what could have been a disaster, as it was my sons Birthday and we were all set to travel to a theme park for the day when we found out the tyre was flat. His speedy assistance and wonderful customer service meant that we were only an hour behind schedule and the rest of the day was fantastic. Thank you so much.

Fitted two new tyres Had requested a brake pad check Not done Tyre pressures of new tyres check box ticked One was 7 psi high the other 3 high Which meant I drove out of Kwikfit with illegal tyre pressures

I drove into Kwik-fit in Lower Stone Street, Maidstone today (01/07/19) after an altercation with a large pothole over the weekend and I wanted to write a review to show how impressed I was with the service I received. David and Jamie were able to fit me in straight away to my surprise. They, and apparently several others, looked at the tyre and they had it sorted by the time I had returned from grabbing a bag of chips around the corner. Luckily the tyre wasn’t as badly damaged as I feared so did not need replacing. I do a lot of motorway miles and was still a bit concerned by the gouges in the tyre wall but they were able to calm my worries and even took the time to raise the car up on the ramp and explain how it was purely cosmetic and safe. They also commented that it would not present a problem with the upcoming MOT which was another great relief. I was really very impressed and felt a valued customer which is something that cannot be said for the majority of other garages around. David and Jamie couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful and professional and they are a credit to this garage.

My van failed it’s Mot on parking brake efficiency, I was told it was probably the cable that needed replacing even though my van had only done 8000 miles since the handbrake cable, rear discs and pads had been replaced! After showing them the invoice for this work they still insisted on adjusting it before issuing the mot. I was also told the headlights needed adjusted, they adjusted them so far that they were pointing at the ground and I was having difficulty seeing where I was going and had to get them corrected. They also put the wrong mileage on the MOT certificate so it’s got less mileage on the clock than it had on the last MOT causing me a lot of grief with insurance, the invoice had the correct mileage on it. After calling their Trowbridge branch they weren’t interested and didn’t want to know

Tried to leave review using QR code & website both didn't work.. had an exhaust fitted by Witham branch, that was good. but they told me that my oil filter needed changing it was a coincidence that it sprung an oil leak on the same day & was gushing out, even saw a lovely puddle of oil on the floor. I said I would sort it when I got home. Funny .. no oil leak . 1 week later still no oil leak and no oil light ... really disappointed in you Kwik-Fit .. wont be going again

Made a complaint in January about disgraceful service in Hamilton Kwik Fit. Have had 1 contact from a “manager” who left a message to call back. Called back quickly and never heard since. Have received letters saying kwik fit received a recent contact from me and to call them. It’s now June and I have asked for no more letters, no calls and to forget my complaint as 5 months later is useless.

Kwik Fit Thornbury, Bradford. Absolute scam artists. Tried to charge me £1,200 for a new exhaust (without catalytic converter), 2 front budget tyres and some brake fluid. When I asked how much just for the exhaust I was quoted £625. I got all of the the work done for £320 from Calverley Autos and my brake fluid was full when I checked it. What made me really angry though was that their reception was full of vulnerable OAPs who will all have been getting scammed. I’m going to complain to Trading Standards. Avoid.

Took my car in for an interim service and MOT yesterday. Dropped the car off 8:20 for its 8:30am appointment. Was told would be done by 1pm. 2pm I phone them to ask if my car is ready,they said it would be ready at 4:30pm. I asked why it would be so long as they had had my car since 8:30am. Was then told that they had run out of oil,I said that it has been booked in for a week so they had plenty of time to ensure they had the correct parts in,was then told that they didn’t have the correct filter so had to order it in (then in my log book the filter hasn’t been marked as changed) then get a phone call at 3:30pm to say my car is ready. Go and collect my car and there is a massive 4 inch scratch on my passangers door above the handle. I asked what had happened,the guy who was in charge that day an L Skeet and the guy who signed my paperwork Bryn came out and said that it was already there and had marked it on the MOT card and they just walked off. Why would you mark a scratch. Proof of this was not able to be given and have written a formal complaint. Avoid this place at all costs!!!!!!!

Thank you to Ryan at kwik fit Ellesmere port. I was at my wits end with my car having fitted brake pads lost all the fluid paid for recovery truck etc etc. I booked a free brake check at my local kwik fit after I had booked I read the many reviews most very poor but undeterred and with i felt nothing to lose I continued with the booking. I'm so glad I did. I now have in writing that my brakes are sound and safe. Thank you so much. I can't recommend the free brake check service enough and it was exactly what it says FREE.

KwikFit Windsor - poor service I took my car into KwikFit Windsor last week for my tyres to be tracked. The service took about an hour and the cost was reasonable. As I drove away from the Windsor Garage, both my traction control and stabilising control warning lights came on in my BMW 320d. I know that these type of notifications can occur shortly after works to the tyres so didn't think too much of these warnings until the next day. The car became very floppy to drive and in light rain became dangerous. I took the car back to KwikFit Fit Windsor at the earliest available time and told them about the problem. The fitter, Manager and another fitter all told me that this had nothing to do with them, mate. It must be an intermittent fault that I hadn't noticed previously. Wrong, the fault occurred minutes after driving away from the Windsor Garage. The car drove just fine until they carried out their tracking works! I am pleased to say that they fixed the fault at my second visit, but sadly, only for a couple of minutes before the tracking warning signals reappeared and the vehicle began to move irratically again. Of course, I called them immediately but was again told that this fault had nothing to do with their works. I had no choice but to book the car into the BMW Garage in Maidenhead to resolve this potentially dangerous fault. I will not use Kwik Fit again and I will insist that they settle any costs that I incur to resolve their shoddy and dangerous works. Darren Mott Windsor

Had an mot carried out at Stonehaven kwik fit, despite having car fully serviced and pre mot checked elsewhere they failed it on ridiculous amount of things. Took it to 2 further garages who disagreed and was passed with one advisory. Avoid, cheap mot price is not worth the hassle and stress. Kf don't care when you complain. Avoid at all costs.
