No door. Promised several delivery times and days. Booked joiner twice. Took time off work, delayed appointments. Still waiting. Told TNT left cards. Not at my house they didn't. Extremely frustrating. Waste of time waiting in.

Avoid leaders at all costs. Ordered some garden furniture which stated it was in stock. After 21 days and numerous E-mails still no sign of furniture. Finally told supplier was out of stock and delivery would be another month or could have a refund. Opted for a refund 3 weeks ago and as I write this, again numerous E-mails and phone calls that don't get answered, still no refund. Will keep trying, but the legal route may be the only way to get my money back it looks like.

Waited 4 days for so called next day delivery, then received an email saying door I ordered was not in stock. I did not order a door! Telephoned 3 times eventually reached the shop floor and spoke to a very nice man, who suggested I sent an email, I still have not had my money refunded. Very poor service will never use again and advise no body else use this company customer service non existent,

Absolutely abysmal service as goods not in stock and not available until June so I cancelled and was told that the credit would be issued on Aril 1st and this has still not been processed on May 1st although Ihave been told in is being dealt with.This will now be dealt with by the credit card I would never buy from them again and would suggest now one buys from them

I ordered two Tiffany pendant lights on the 23rd March 2015 (almost a month ago now), Order Ref No. 9067 , and have had to phone twice since to find out where my order has got to ? as on site it says dispatched in 5 - 7 days ,which is misleading as have now been told it takes 5 - 7 days to get the order to Leader before the dispatch to customer, your site said both items were in stock which is why I ordered, as found the lights on another site at £20 cheaper but one of them was out of stock, which is why I payed more at Leader thinking I would get my order sooner. On my most recent phone call the beginning of this week on the 13th May, I was told there had been a problem with my order, but that I would definately get a call back on the Thursday or Friday, and they would arrange an express delivery for the next Monday or Tuesday. But so far still no call back or lights , I AM NOT HAPPY with service ! Though will say when phoned I always got through quick and your sales people are very polite and helpful, but obviously there is something going wrong communication wise.

I ordered some flooring only to ring leader stores to tell me out of stock after I had ordered and paided then I was was told to wait seven for me order then within half hour I received an email to say have your money back it won't be back in stock only to my dissmay that looking upon the Internet this item was in still saying in stock customercare a big fat zero disgrace order at your peral I then had to chase them up for my money back AWFUL I would recommend NOT to buy from this company

We ordered our "Oaks Lighting Flemish Brass Plated Twin Wall Light" on 23 February 2015. We receive the delivery within about seven days only to find that they had shipped the wrong item. They duly shipped a replacement but that, due to inadequate packaging , was damaged. Leader Sores promised that they would ship another replacement within 3-7 working days. Ten days later I had to contact them only to be told that they now cannot ship yet another replacement for 7 - 14 working days - due to manufacturing problems at Oaks. First time I have use this Company but will not again.

Disgusting service and I m still owed money from a refund after the doors I ordered couldn't be supplied. Poor and no communication. Very poor indeed !

I ordered three kitchen worktops on January 21st which were advertised as 5 - 7 days delivery. Heard nothing from them so called on Jan 28th and spoke with Shaun who thanked me for bringing it to his attention and he assured me that he would be chasing up the distribution company. On February 2nd I called again and spoke with Ryan who also thanked me for bringing it to his attention. He advised me that the distribution company would not deliver to my area (Somerset) but that he would be arranging for a courier to deliver the worktops. Some days later I called again and spoke to Liam who didn't appear to know a great deal about anything but transferred me back to Shaun who this time advised that I should have been told quite some time ago that they were cancelling the whole deal and weren't prepared to deliver at all. A refund would be given in due course. While I was kept on hold during the last call I made to them, I looked up their customer reviews - if only I'd looked at the reviews before I placed the order I could have avoided this company completely. Not a great experience.

Thank you for your feedback Dorothy We would firstly like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused on this order. We would always contact customers as soon as we receive any order updates. However there seems to have been a communication error regarding the delivery times and methods for this delivery. With the item being so physically large, and being delivered direct from the supplier, there was a delay in relaying the information regarding delivery problems to yourself. This is not our normal procedure, and is certainly not how our company works. For that reason, we do extend our sincerest apologies. The product on your order was out of stock with the supplier at the time, we would usually make contact as soon as possible via email or telephone to update you on any stocking issues. We ordered 7 doors it says 3-5 days delivery but that's from when they have been collected from there deport so ended up having to wait 2 weeks also delivered a wrong door and expected us to wait another week for it to collect and change it. The doors them selfs when we got them all we was pleased with. Just take no notice if it say 3-5 days more like 2 weeks.

The doors were very good quality. However the level of customer service is very poor. I had paid delivery in error and After over a month and numerous emails and telephone calls I have still not had the money refunded!

Thanks for your feedback Marcia. We do normally require the customer to input the discount code advertised on the homepage to receive the free delivery, as it is a promotional offer that we have on at the moment. We had agreed to refund you the delivery charge as a gesture of good will. Although refunds can take up to (but not usually) 28 days, I have chased this with the accounts department who have sincerely apologised for the delay on the refund. If not already processed, this will be done ASAP and should appear within your account within 5 working days, depending on who you bank with. We're glad you are happy with your purchase! After ordering I heard nothing for around a week. I emailed in and received a reply asking me to call to organise the delivery. I arranged delivery over the phone for a week later and then took the day off work to receive the goods, they failed to turn up! Apparently the order was stopped before it actually left because it was incorrect, a call would have been nice! A week or so later I called again, correct order was just in. I was told someone would call me later to arrange the delivery date, I even gave them my mobile again just to make sure they had it correctly. Nothing for a few days so I called back to cancel as I was totally fed up and no longer wanted to do any business with this company. I'm sure had I not done all the chasing Leaders would just be sitting on the order forever, that seems like the plan here. I'm still waiting for a refund! We thought we would give the company the benefit of the doubt after looking at the reviews but I would seriously suggest giving them a wide step. Customer support if you can call it that were generally helpful over the phone but I couldn't help feeling like I was being fobbed off with any old excuse and having to do all the work isn't how it should be!

Birlea Wardrobe paid for on 29th Dec. I was NEVER informed of delivery date and had to telephone several times to find out what was happening. I was eventually told that the wardrobe is out of stock until Feb. Why wasnt I told this in the first place?! I shouldn't have had to pay until it was ready for delivery!! I'd had enough by this point and wanted a refund so I then sent an email to 'cancellations', which was ignored. My second email was also ignored so I ended up having to telephone AGAIN. I was promised that my refund form would be submitted that day. Overall, Im very unimpressed with Leader Stores and will never use again.

We would then have notified you of the delay as soon as we were informed by the supplier. I would like to apologise that we were not able to update you sooner. Hard to think of any positive comments. I ordered some lamp shades on 15th Dec in time for christmas and was told that they were on 5-7 days lead time and here we are nearly a month later with still no news as to when we'll get them. On line tracking system is a joke - doesn't tell me anything so I have to ring up or chat on line to get an update. All I get is apologies and empty promises. I know it's not entirely Leader's fault as they are dependent on the supplier but this is very bad customer experience thus far and I doubt I'll be shopping with Leader again

Well, where to start. Firstly I had a live chat with David at Leaderstores who assured me the table and chairs I wanted would be delivered on or before Tuesday 23rd December. Hence I placed my order. The next day I received phone call to say they were not even in stock till March 2015! I was then told I would have to send an email to their cancellation dept to obtain a refund,which I did. Should this money have been taken from my account because they did not even have the stock to sell me. Never the less I done as requested. The initial payment was took out of my bank account on the 16th December, I did not receive my refund till 31st December and this was after several irate phone calls, each time assuring me the refund had being processed , when in fact it had not. What more can I say but very poor communication and after sales service. Would not recommend .

We would have only been made aware of the stocking issue once we have attempted to place the order with the supplier. We would have then contacted you at the earliest opportunity to update you on this. As we sell thousands of products from over a hundred different manufacturers - it is difficult to keep the stock status on every product as up to date as we would like. Ordered some dado rail and was told it would be delivered in a week. Nothing arrived. I was then told it would be another week, again nothing arrived. I was then told it would be another 2 weeks, at which point i got a refund. Worse part was that every time I contacted customer support they kept telling me that they would call me back and never did so I had to constantly chase them. This is the first and last time that I will order from them, Amazon they are not.
