“The quality of the clothes is not like it used to be. Returns from Canada by mail was 234.00 dollars for a box. Will not be ordering again.”

“Recently bought a 2 pack of their basic jersey leggings which I have been buying for the last 5 years and wear every day until I physically can't patch them up anymore. Quality was absolutely dreadful, fabric was about half the thickness as my old pair and incredibly cheap and shiny. At this point I'm just going to cut my losses and start making my own leggings despite not being able to find a jersey I liked as much as their old fabric, as I have no clue where I can get leggings that don't end at my mid calves in Europe. Really disappointed.”

“Quality, fit and fabric cheap and awful. Was a loyal customer for 20 years but am not anymore. I had to send back 11/12 items I recently purchased for many different reasons! And you can’t give feed back like you used to. When bought out by Yours (?) the designs became cheap and nasty but at same prices. What a waste.”

“I am glad everyone posted! Us tall girls dont have a lot of choices and now we are stuck with another exploitive business--boohoo LTS:((( I had a terrible ripoff experience 5 years ago with Alloy (lost $400) which put me on alert. I was about to put in an order with LTS (a long time customer--beacause there is literally no one else who makes a 38"inseam...yaknowhowitis:)) but new web-site seemed fishy. I am so glad I read all these reviews first!! First trap: The size on some items (not all) changed once i put an item in a bag. (this could be converting usa size to uk, but all the toggles were set to usa) and its really hard to get customer service. So this seems like a setup for forcing returns. Second trap: the USA site is pretty darn vague about returns cost. By all the comments it is clearly all going back to the UK and they could say that and give a cost estimate--it does not say anywhere on the USA sight that LTS will be charging international shipping rates for returns! They need to be transparent that our items are coming from the UK and being returned there, because most people would not assume that!! --also to give us a heads up on time. I am so sorry for all us tall girls that lost hard earned $$. It is so hard to find clothes to fit and its disconcerting that LTS (which used to be our supporter) is going down this road. Ugh!”

“In order to return a 47$ dress I have to spend $27 to mail it to the UK. Apparently they don’t accept returns in the country where you purchased it.”

“Terrible return policy . Ordered boots in November, they were too big returned and still no refunds! It’s now March .,Had an email saying they had received the return over 2 weeks ago . Will NEVER order or recommend them . Completely unsatisfied customer!! Out $200 Canadian $$😰😰”

“Before being bought out, this company was a go to for me. The clothes were of good quality, customer service was very accommodating and shipping was often free. My recent experience has been the worst and they clothes mediocre, at best. It takes weeks to get your merchandise, they charge you a foreign transfer fee, it takes damn near a month plus to return merchandise and get a refund, and you cannot speak to customer service EVER. Just a series of links to send emails. I will NEVER order anything from Long Tall Sally again.”

“These reviews are completely right. Oh my God. I was going crazy wondering why my stuff hasn't come for so long, trying to contact them, I can't believe this. I'm calling my bank. I hope they can do something. I used to go to their store in the mall and buy from them offline. I stopped for a few years now I've come back to this? What the heck....”

“Can't believe how much and how fast the quality and design/style of LTS clothes has gone down since the take over. U.G.L.Y. The majority of my wardrobe is LTS and I wanted more. Devastated by the brand's decline. Where to now for clothes for a 6' lass? Cant stay here.”

“Nobody is going back to LTS. I hope their sales drop drastically because of the switch. I knew the decline was coming when I saw the site sell ugly ass clown pants and matching dress in the same pattern. I’m sad and disappointed that now I have to scramble to find clothes that fit me properly.”

“I had no idea the sizes on the site defaulted to UK. As I’d indicated my shopping was destined for Canada, it never occurred to me the sizing would be for the UK. Now I’m stuck with $150 worth of clothing and my daughter doesn’t get the birthday gift I ordered more than a month ago.”

“I bought (4) pull over sweaters and am really disappointed with the sizing. Without exaggeration, two people could fit in each of the sweaters. Unfortunate too, that LTS eliminated customer item reviews because the cost of the return is high. Sad to see the decline. LTS was my source of clothing for decades.”

“Paid $70 (US) for a pair of jeans that took over two weeks to get to me, and weren’t even denim; but some sort of cheap poly-blend fabric that you could read the newspaper through. On a positive note, they were true to size, but are more like leggings than jeans. Save your money, and go to the Wal Mart, or bargain barn, you can get the same pants, made of the same paper thin material for $20 a pair. Way overpriced and shipping time is way too long!”

“This is not only the worse experience and service, it should go to the ombudsman. I ordered several items in November only 2 items fit or were anything like what I ordered. I returned all the rest of the items on Dec 12/21 and it cost me $89 to return the parcel. I still have not received the credit for the over $300 credit and today is Jan 31/22. The sweater that did fit, I kept, was an $80 sweater and it is the cheapest quality sweater I have ever owned, it is pilling under the arms and after gentle washes (only item in washer) it is now pilling all over. Totally disappointing.”

“LTS has declined significantly since having been bought out. There are no reviews of the individual products on the website so it is difficult to assess what an item is actually like. Plus, after having purchased 6 items, I can say that the pictures do not fairly represent the products. All 4 dresses were HUGE and all 6 items were very cheaply made. In addition, I was charged a foreign transaction fee by my bank - this fee was not described/disclosed by LTS, my purchase was confirmed in US $'s, and my many other purchases from non-US companies have never incurred this fee. Customer Service does not respond to my inquiry about this. I am still waiting on a refund after 25 days for items returned. Sadly, I will no longer be buying from LTS. It is also puzzling how different review sites can have such drastically different reviews (e.g. trustpilot, vs. review.io vs. sitejabber).”
