“These books are insanely overpriced. You can do the same thing with actual photos for half the price on Shutterfly instead. I don't like Shutterfly either, because with a color printer you can basically do everything they do minus the shipping, but for such a cute and fun idea, they really jacked up the price so that it's beyond buying. They also don't let you get the much cheaper digital version without first paying for the literally ten times more expensive physical version. I cannot believe the physical version is literally ten times the price as the digital. It's awful. I was super excited after making my book to give it to my wife for Christmas, but for $55.00, not including shipping with a tracking number, I could not justify this for a book.”

“I am in the process of making a book so once it's completed I'll come back and give another review related to the shipping process. My complaint at the moment is that the character options, are not very inclusive. The options for darker skin tones are few and inaccurate. The same goes for lip colors and hair. It feels like whole thing is meant for white people only and it's frustrating.”

“I gave this to my man and the reaction was priceless he cried so touched by the personal moments in our life.. 4 years in a book.. I love this idea and would recommend it to anyone... My book was delivered right on time! Thanks so much”

“For a company that specializes in a product meant for occasions you would think they would have a better shipping system. Never got the book. Bought the book well in advance of my anniversary date with the expectation that it would be here oct 8th. Today’s the 16th and it hasn’t even shipped. What a waste of money!”

“Never received a shipping notice. Had to click a link on my receipt email. 3 days so far telling me "shipped and ready for ups" Tries the chat function for clarity. All automated and completely useless. Called ups, was told this is a constant issue. The CSR I spoke with was actually familiar with the company and they field calls all the time looking for packages that were supposedly shipped but are actually still sitting somewhere . Still no book and apparently false shipping info, no human to speak with. Will never use this company again and wouldn't recommend them.”

“I ordered this book for my boyfriend birthday. He absolutely loved it!! Every page told a story and we couldn’t stop laughing. He mentioned no one has ever given him anything like this before which made me even more happy. It was truly one of the best gifts I have ever given someone I love. The look on his face, the way he felt after reading the book. Price was on the high side but I paid extra for fast shipping and it came earlier than expected which was good! If you’re looking for a sentimental gift THIS IS IT!!”

“I ordered this book almost a month before my husbands birthday & surprise no book no tracking number & it passed the estimated delivery day! I called both customer support numbers no answer tried Facebook calls & Instagram direct message I tried emailing & no answer. Now I have to go buy another gift. Thanks lovebooks horrible service & horrible customer support!”

“Ok so I am in a good position to review this product as for a career I am a Print Finisher / Book Binder. The printing is excellent especially for digital print and not Litho Print, the Binding and Gluing is excellent however the finishing is terrible, the measures at the head from spine to foredge is 148mm, but at the foot from spine to foredge the book measures 151mm so that is 3mm out of square. And it is the same from head to foot 3mm out of square, this is and could be a great idea but they need to keep on top of the finishing quality issues”

“I am saddened by the negative reviews as I wish everyone had my experience. This is worth every single penny! All the magical details are captured in this perfect little book! Incredible quality and just SO damn CUTE! I mean after all isn’t that what made you click on the book in the first place! I Ordered this for my husbands birthday. Rolled my eyes and paid the extra money to get it shipped faster... even though it was still going to arrive after his birthday ( but that was my fault for not finishing it sooner) Not only did it arrive in time for his birthday but came 5 days earlier than expected. I understand that this may not always be the case for everyone but this made me SOOOO HAPPY & truly made his birthday ! Once I started getting going of creating the book I got very detailed and funny with it. Which makes the whole thing so much more fun and personal! 63 pages of your inside jokes with your own little perfectly designed emojis standing underneath, it is absolutely priceless. You can create this for anyone and for anything!!! SoooooOooo happy! Thank you thank you!”

“Ordered my book 1 Feb with an estimated delivery date of 14 Feb. Just like alot of you, Surprise....no book on Valentines Day. To make matters worse, their website still shows an estimated arrival date of 14 Feb and UPS shows that the label was just printed and not even shipped yet. Thanks for ruining Valentines Day!”

“Ordered book and paid extra based on their website to have it arrive by 2/14 Valentines day. Waited all day on Valentines day just to find out it wont be arriving until the next day. Completely ruined my plans as this was my main valentines day focus - have requested a refund but am not hopeful for any help.... will not recommend to others!”

“Ordered nearly 3 weeks prior to Valentine’s Day 2019. Estimated arrival of 2/13/19 was scary enough. Website claims 4-5 business days to complete the book. The book was it completed in time. Rhonda with customer service said she’d upgrade my shipping for free for the trouble. Never happened. Then they offered to refund the shipping. Great my $8 is back but not my order for Valentine’s Day. Then they “shipped it” they claimed but no tracking number for three days despite the website claiming an email would be generated with the tracking number. Worst Valentine’s Day gift ever. I spent days upon days editing a 50 page book for my fiancé for it not to show up anywhere near Valentine’s Day. So deeply disappointed in their process and their service. Do not recommend. There are other service that provide this idea as well.”

“LoveBook is the most amazing website! I wanted to do a special gift for my boyfriend on our anniversary and I saw a LoveBook advertisement on Instagram. So I clicked and I liked the idea so I tried to create a book and OMG it was soo easy, they have looots of scenarios, you can change the objects of the scene, the outfit of the characters, their faces, the text... I'm from Spain so I didn't know if I could write it in spanish but affortunately yes!!!! Trust me: seems a little bit pricey (60$ aprox) but you can personalize it the way you want it and the number of pages doesn't change the price (max 100 pages which is a lot). Also, I made some misspelling errors while writing it and not only they let me cancell the order and make all the changes I wanted (although it clearly said this type of error was costumer responsability and if you approve your book this can't be undone), they also send me the cancelled one because it had shipped already!!!!!! So i received 2 books instead of 1 only paying for one of them!!!! Amazing costumer service, quality, arrived on time. Will repeat for sure”

“I liked the concept, it’s a truly “cute” gift for a loved one. My only complaint that for the price point I found it incredibly tacky the the lovebook advertisements were placed INSIDE of the book without contesent, ( they have you approve the design of your custom book before placing the order. ) not only that but they put it in multiple places.”

“Just great. The quality of the pages, the printing and the service itself is really high. I also made some spelling mistakes while writing my personal sentences on the book and they so kindly gave me the opportunity to cancel my order and let me change my mistakes, even if it si clearly said that the spelling mistakes are the customer's responsibility. Moreover the book was meant to arrive after 9 days and it arrived just after 3 days. Higly recommended.”

“I received my book a few days ago. After showing the book to two people the seam for the cover started to tear apart. I have requested a refund but they only want to send me a replacement. For $55 I expect something that will hold together for a while. What a rip off. I expect a refund to be given if I am unhappy with a product. This company has no sense of customer service!!”
