Booked a holiday package with love holidays transfer didn’t turn up called them hours before my pickup time company closed down had to book a private transfer and paid over £80 again very disappointed

Had the absolute worst experience with them. Tried to amend a holiday and they literally took 6 weeks to get back to me when they said it would be 5 working days. My holiday was cancelled, no refund, tried asking to speak to a manager multiple times, would not let us do that.

My 20 year old daughter just landed in Tenerife with her friend to find that Love Holidays has cancelled their hotel booking without notification. They now have no where to stay and can't contact anyone at Love Holidays until after 9am tomorrow. This is a very dangerous situation to leave 2 young girls in, without any support, worse company ever do not use.

Worst company ever. Charged me double after they had to change the flights and the hotel I booked was no longer available due to their mistake! Spoke to 100 different people from call centres in India who told me something different every day. Said I could not speak to the amendment team. The most stressful and expensive anniversary holiday ever. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND PEACE OF MIND. BOOK WITH SOME OTHER REPUTABLE COMPANY.

Loveholidays failed to provide a transferservice I paid for, and also refused to issue a refund. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at Loveholidays. I booked a hotel with a one-way transfer from the airport, providing flight details at the time of booking. Despite informing the transfer company of a flight delay as per Loveholidays' terms, the transfer company said they hadn't received my flight details in the first place, of which I discovered on arrival, causing confusion and leaving me and my children stranded at the airport close to midnight. Unable to reach Loveholidays, I had to take a taxi and retained the receipt. Later, I found a message in the app, sent the day before my flight, requesting flight details that I had already provided when booking. This message did not come through email, SMS or phonecall; the lack of communication is baffling. When I finally reached customer service, I was informed the issue was already addressed, which was not the case. After multiple contacts with customer service, I was asked for my taxi receipt, that was provided. Loveholidays have refused a refund, claiming they couldn't confirm flight changes and noting the receipt’s date was the day after the ride, due to the late hour (arrived at hotel after midnight). The transfer company's non-booking shows that Loveholidays have failed to provide the service I paid for, and their refusal to refund is unacceptable and immoral. It's clear they have not paid the transfer company and have stolen my money. I have had to pay £120 for a single hotel transfer. What a joke!

Terrible Experience with Loveholidays - Avoid at All Costs! I recently had a horrendous experience with Loveholidays that I want to share to warn others. I booked a family holiday to Turkey for £10,050, which was a significant amount of money. After 48 hours, not only did I not receive a confirmation, but I was also told that the price had gone up by an additional £2,350. This is outrageous and completely unacceptable. After taking my money, Loveholidays informed me about the price increase, which felt like a blatant attempt to con me. I had to call their customer service, which took around 45 minutes to get through. When I finally spoke to someone, they were extremely rude and unhelpful, insisting that I had to pay the extra amount due to a price increase. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. This company tried to rob us of our hard-earned money. I immediately contacted my bank to try to get my money back and included a recording of the conversation as proof. Loveholidays does not provide any assistance or support. They don't even have a proper email for customer service, making it nearly impossible to resolve issues. Because of them, I have lost my summer holiday and am now struggling to get my money back. Please avoid booking with Loveholidays at all costs. They are unreliable, unhelpful, and seem to be running a scam to exploit customers. Save yourself the trouble and book with a more reputable company. No ABTA protection, so when you get undercooked hotel food, broken beds and dangerous shuttle buses, you are on your own and they never help. Ignore the ATOL & CAA promise, this is just legal requirements if airline goes bust. Lady from Citizens advice told us they have lots of complaints and can do nothing as they 'dropped out of ABTA during Covid to avoid their responsibilities to customers then, and have been defrauding customers ever since'

In December 2024, I paid a deposit for a trip to Thailand.Due to a bereavement I tried t cancel but was told I would forfeit my 650e. This money was ' chargedback' to my card apparently. Except it wasn't. I was required to pay a second deposit plus the full balance in January 2024. Despite nearly fifty emails and asking my card company to intervene, my money was never returned. Today I requested my money be repaid via five separate different emails. ALL of these bounced back from loveholidays. A total scam company.

If I can give no stars I would. I booked a holiday to Egypt for 10 days but, unfortunately, had to cancel due to an accident. I've tried contacting loveholidays to address this issue, but I've had difficulty getting through because my number is already registered for the Egypt trip. Each time I call loveholidays, I've had to use a different number. When I finally reached them and explained my situation, they directed me to call ATOL insurance. However, when I contacted ATOL, the staff member I spoke with was not pleased. She explained that ATOL only provides support in cases where loveholidays is bankrupt and expressed frustration that loveholidays is directing all customers with issues to them. She also mentioned that she would be filing a complaint about this. Despite my attempts to contact loveholidays, I faced difficulties because my number was already registered for the trip. When I finally managed to speak with a representative, they asked me to pay £58 to avoid my account being closed, which I paid. They also requested a letter confirming my accident, so I sent my hospital letter and sick note. However, they did not accept these documents and asked for a medical certificate signed by my GP, which cost me £30. After providing the requested medical certificate, I called to confirm its receipt and was told not to call again as they would contact me. Eventually, I received an email stating that my case was closed and I would not receive any refund, despite having provided the medical certificate they requested and their confirmation of its receipt.I’m very disappointed

Book a holiday to go out to Tenerife in Oct , I wanted an early morning flight as we’re only going for 5 days but then when the confirmation came through it was an late night flight so we are loosing a day of our holiday, I have tried to Anne d it but can’t !!! WILL NOT BE BOOKING AGAIN

Awful service my daughter Jodie has received of this company over the weekend, on Saturday morning my daughter booked a last minute holiday to turkey for her, husband and 3 children she paid over £4275 for this, she started packing organising transfers and 3 hours later the person from love holidays rang her and told her the holiday was cancelled as there was no seats on the plane and a refund would take 5-14 days absolutely dreadful service she was absolutely devastated for her and the 3 children which where all very upset crying by this time They could not book another holiday as there money was booked on the love holidays destination and had to wait for refund Who does this to a young family desperate to get away My daughter has been very poorly and they all decided she needed this holiday and this company does that No other email or response from the company either and still no refund I have told her I am going to take this further as it is very unprofessional and dreadful to treat a family like this And not to respond to any emails What kind of company does this please dont use this company very unprofessional I will be taking this matter further for her now Sharon (Jodie mum)

The customer service team, literally hung up on me. I'm a TUI travel advisor trying to ring loveholidays for my client as they could not reach them, literally got into a row with the lady because she was being rude them hung up on me, might be cheap but no customer service from them

I’ve booked a holiday for July this year (2024) for 7 nights in New York for myself and my daughter who‘s just recovered from 3 years of cancer treatment. On the booking form it stated „ Double Bed / Twin bed or King size Bed“ I choose that option as I & my daughter are ok with a Twin bed room & obviously, the other options were not suitable. I paid in full, the booking confirmation defaulted to King size bed. I went on „ Manage my booking“ as their AI robot said I’d be able to change my room choice without a problem…that failed. After countless emails to the hotel and more phone calls to Love holidays.. it seems like no one from Love Holidays is prepared now to actually give us the option of a twin room, because they said; the hotel does not actually have twin rooms available ( I‘m now shaking my head in disbelief) I‘ve been onto the hotel again..who said all they need is an email from Love holidays to change the room to a Twin Room. I’ve spent hours with the Love Holidays customer service asking for a simple room change and got nowhere. They were very quick to take my money but unwilling to do anything when I asked them to give me the option that I selected. Never again!

Stay away from this travel agency. They lie about the hotels and holiday deals, I paid extra for private transfers had nothing but problems with transfers, my travel rep is absolutely unless ignored my messages, my concerns, didn’t deal with anything for me or even bother to reply! Absolutely useless! Stay away I was told there’s Wi-Fi there was no free Wi-Fi other than lobby We was looking for transfers for an hour on arrival was told to go look 1000s for our car. Pick up we didn’t get told until an hour before what time we are being picked up. I was keep chasing it up no one knew anything I had problems at the hotel I was just being ignored Absolutely disgusting!! Will never ever travel with love holdiay again

Never again...This was my second time and last to book with Love holidays...it takes more than 5 days to be contacted about amending a booking,hidden costs and admin fees....if they have a better offer on their website and you already booked ,you cannot change to get a better price. We paid 60 euro for a transfer and then found out we could have just paid the bus 3 euro each...we wanted to cancel the transfer,but found out it's non-refundable. Conclusion: it's at least 20% cheaper if you book the hotel and flights,and you can easily amend what you need.

We needed to change a passenger name and after 3 weeks of speaking to them we confirmed it with them to change the name and book the new flight. We didnt receive confirmation of this so 2 days later rang to see what was happening. They had not booked the flight and informed us it was now going to cost us £250 more to change the passenger. This is clearly in black in white via emails and the T&C’s also state that they can charge up to 100% of the initial fee and they are charging us over 100% of the initial cost. I have spent over 3 hours on the phone to customer services trying to sort this with no success. Today alone i have rang and ben told 2 different stories and been promised phone calls from the managers for 3 days now and no one has rang. We fly in 3 days and still don't have this sorted. The stress levels are increasing which isn’t great because I am pregnant. I also asked today to escalate this to a complaint and they said you cant complain until you have been on your holiday. This seems very strange to me.

This place was nothing like advertised and the pictures were not of our hotel , food was disgusting, hotel very noisy you hear everything balcony overlooked another balcony, stunk of damp view from bathroom window well if you wanted it open the damp was worse and it was just a dark drop of pipes as in pictures and very squeaky bed phone that kept ringing in the room through the night 4 nights were too much did complain but no one took you serious we did get offered a free meal at the hotel , errr no thanks the food is bad , was told no drinks at dinner time only water … ok so no photos funny it won’t let me load them
