I can't understand why this tourism agency has such bad reviews. In the last 2 years, I have been on 3 holidays using the services of this company. 7 nights in Taba Egypt, 4 nights in Amsterdam and 14 nights in Thailand. Everything was exactly as it was in the description, I had no problem with the flights, with the hotels and I paid for these holidays in installments without paying any other fee. I give them 10 stars.

By far the worst travel company I have ever dealt with. Having issues with the hotel I booked for a holiday we go on in a month and trying to change to a different hotel that can accommodate our needs. Have been on the chat function since 9am this morning and cut off multiple times after waiting 1-2 hours to get through. Told there is no way to make a formal complaint. Told I couldn’t speak to a manager. Asked for an email address or postal address I could send letters to be told to “google it”. Also I can’t get through on the phone as the booking is over 28 days away. What a disgraceful company. Please never book with them!

I would not recommend this company to anyone. We booked a package to Ljubljana only to discover that the flight they'd booked us on was going to an airport 200km away and in a different country with no means of transfer! It took over an hour on the phone and they refused to do anything to resolve the problem. To be fair to the call centre employee he was very polite and tried to help but was blocked by the company management who refused to acknowledge my complaint. The price of the holiday wasn't even competitive and there were other errors with the hotel booking. Do not book with this company!

Be very careful when booking . The Loveholidays system somehow put me on a payment plan with Transaction Fees when I specifically pressed the payment in full option ( fortunately only £20 BUT STILL A SCAM ) No customer service from a robot . As someone has stated previously , go through lastminute.com to get a better price than going to Loveholidays directly and only book if you are comfortable with a complete lack of support .

Online booking error cost me an extra £300. An error occurred with Loveholidays 'mybooking' system. My wife and I booked HB at The Navarria Hotel, Cyprus, which some how was altered to B&B when I checked the itinerary prior to going on holiday. The only alteration I amended was the hotel transfer as we had a rental car. I received an email with a £30 refund, which I thought was a generous offer for cancelling the hotel transfer. I contacted an online agent who pointed out the alteration and this is when the agent informed me of the reason for the refund, I explained that I had no idea how the change had occurred and could the hotel booking be changèd back to the original HB. This was going to cost me an extra £200 for the alteration. How does an alteration from HB to B&B produce a refund of £30, yet to revert back it incurs a penalty of £200. Nice little earner for the hotel, yet it cost my wife and I an extra £300 on top of the holiday cost, due to having to eat out every night. On top of that, my wife is disabled, which is the reason we opted for HB in the first place. Most definitely will not be using Loveholidays again in the near future

I booked a holiday for 2 adults with inclusive flights, paid extra for transportation, bags and for us to sit together (all pretty standard). I then get a confirmation email a day later with our flights saying 'adult and infant on lap'. Loveholidays now has no where I can call since my holiday is not in 4 weeks so I have to have a text conversation with them instead. They sent us back and forth to EasyJet saying it's my fault for the 'infant' being put on, not an adult and that it's not for them to solve. Despite, me booking a hotel for '2 adults' they then quickly argued its for 2 guests even though my booking confirmation is for 2 adults on the hotel. I then show them my screenshots of me booking 2 seats and now I only have one to show them it must have been a system error. They wouldn't hear it or help us with EasyJet at all even though I had proof that I selected all the options for an adult. Had to cancel one ticket and rebook everything for more money of course. Never use again, massive scam and most unhelpful staff. Recommendation: Use Lastminuet.com, I always used them and never had a problem, don't bother with Loveholidays or their staff.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I'll start with a positive. We had a perfect trip to Venice last year for our wedding anniversary with loveholidays. I can't fault it at all. Flights and hotel were great. I then booked a trip to Iceland at the beginning of the year with them. They contacted us a month before we left to say our flights had been changed. We had a choice of accepting the new outbound flight or cancelling the whole trip. We had to cancel as we would have lost a whole day and night of our trip, which is a lot if you're only going for 3 nights. If we had accepted the new outbound flight, they were only offering us £100 between us for the inconvenience. The hotel cost more than that a night! By this point we had already booked and paid for, an airport hotel and airport parking so we were going to be out of pocket. They weren't in the least bothered. Very luckily, we managed to book another break that fitted those dates, with another holiday company. But they really couldn't have cared less and weren't interested in trying to help us. In my own stupidity, and the lovely Venice trip probably still on my mind, I booked to go to Finland with loveholiday in November. I've now had notification to say there's been a flight change (again) to the homeward bound flight this time. It's the day AFTER we're supposed to come home. Again, airport car parking etc already booked and paid for, so that's messed up. But there is no mention on the email about our accommodation (it's a package holiday). Where do we stay the extra day? Have they extended our stay at our accommodation (no mention in the email)? How much extra will it cost, if anything? Well here's the thing. If you are not travelling with them in the next month, it is IMPOSSIBLE to speak to anyone at loveholiday. Trust me, we've tried. You only get to 'talk' to some robot, i.e. not a real person, and it's as much use as a chocolate teapot! Got through on a different number and spoke to a woman, who point-blank wouldn't help and said she only dealt with people travelling in the next month. She directed us back to robo-woman. Long story short. WE had to contact the hotel in Finland ourselves, to find out if loveholiday had booked us another night. They hadn't. WE'VE had to do that ourselves at an extra cost of £150 for one night! I will NEVER book with this company ever again. They may be OK if everything goes to plan, but if there's any sort of problem and you need to speak to them, you have NO CHANCE of contacting them, unless you're travelling in the next month. Please avoid for your own sanity!

We ordered transfer from airport to hotel £107.11. When we arrived in Venice a taxis driver was there to meet us. However he just took us to a town 15 minutes away and Told us we needed to buy tickets and go to the sea bus stop. We had to find the stop which took us 20 minutes! Then when we got to St Marco we had to find our hotel. It was after about 30 minutes of walking with our cases that an English man googled it for us, thank goodness we weren’t too far away. We were quite worried about our return trip as couldn’t remember the town we had to meet the taxi driver! However after talking to some people we were informed that there was a see boat that took you straight to and from the airport and it only cost us 38 euros for the two of us!! So so angree with I Love Holidays with what they put us through and the amount they charged us so wanted to WARN anyone using this company. Ps I’ve tried to contact them but find it impossible.

TERRIBLE experience and even worse customer service!! We booked a last minute trip to Abu Dhabi and paid Love Holidays in full for the hotel and flights. I emailed the hotel a few days before our arrival to request a double room and the hotel said they couldn't find our booking. I contacted Love Holidays immediately and asked them to double check our booking - they reassured me that they spoke to the hotel and everything was absolutely fine and the hotel definitely had our booking. To our absolute horror, we arrived late on Sunday evening after a day of travelling to our hotel to find they didn't have our booking on their system. We'd never been to Abu Dhabi before and were stranded, it was really scary. We spoke to a Love Holidays agent on the chat who said there had been an issue with the supplier they use to book the hotel and our booking hadn't gone through to the hotel reservation team. They said there was nothing they could do and they'd give us a refund for the hotel. This was totally unacceptable, we were stuck in Abu Dhabi late at night with no where to stay because Love Holidays had made a mistake and all they were offering was a refund... where were we supposed to go?! We refused to accept this offer and demanded they sorted our reservation. As it was getting later and later, we had to pay for a room for the night and the Love Holidays agent assured us the issue would be sorted first thing the next day. We had no choice but to pay over £200 for a room for the night. The next morning we went to reception and asked if Love Holidays had been in contact with them about our booking (the agent said they would phone first thing) and much to our surprise, they hadn't heard anything. We spoke to yet another agent on the chat and finally got the in resort emergency contact number. Long story short, we spoke to a number of different agents throughout the day including a manager and no one could seem to solve the issue. We still don't understand why they couldn't just sort our booking for the rest of the week as the hotel had availability and we'd already paid in full. There was obviously something they weren't telling us. The whole experience completely ruined our first couple of days as we were waiting by our phone for an agent to call us with an update - we had to chase them so many times because they never called back when they promised. Eventually at 7pm the day after arriving at the hotel, we received an email from Love Holidays saying the issue had been sorted. Why did it take them 24 hours to sort this issue?! We have complained to Love Holidays about this and they are refusing to accept responsibility and haven't even apologised. We asked if they would pay the extra charges on our phone bills because we had to keep calling the agents and they have refused as they said we could've just used the chat.... we did use the chat but were told to call the in resort team. The whole experience was extremely stressful and was not the relaxing start to the holiday we needed. I will never book with Love Holidays again and will be telling as many people as we can about our awful experience.

Zero stars. Arrived at our hotel to be informed that they had no room for us and sent us to a dreadful one instead. Informed Love holidays but their attitude was disgusting. Please do not use this agency, they really are scammers

I like to give an honest review. All started well, impressed with booking procedures and quick response when I contacted them regarding an issue. While away our hotel was being renovated and we were not told in advance. We were woken at 7.30am every morning and banging and drilling continued into the afternoon. I followed guidance - spoken to hotel reception twice, manager and then went on chat. I was advised to complain when we got back. Emailed when I got back with photos of works outside our room and elsewhere and was offered £90 refund - we had paid for two rooms and three of us had travelled. I was told there had been a pipe issue at the hotel and that I had not contacted LH whilst away as guidance required. I had sent a screenshot of the part of the chat as evidence of this. I then found out from a friend travelling with a different agent that they had been sent an email saying hotel was being renovated. I sent a copy of this email to LH stating that clearly there were renovations going on and that we had seen the Jet 2 reps there on the Thursday - interestingly the email was sent to customers on the Friday so they have been updating their customers. When I sent this new evidence, it was ignored. I put a comment in the app and this was also ignored. I resent the email this morning and commented in the chat again. I have very quickly received an email saying that they have achieved all they can in the matter. My post on the app has now also been closed. I was really impressed with LH and this is the first time using them, but to have my complaint just closed down without any further response to my email which states that I have followed protocol and when I have provided further evidence that work was going on that we were not told about is appalling. We booked this holiday so that we could relax and recharge - being woken at 7.30am and banging and drilling going on until 6.30pm is not acceptable. Neither is the response that I have received from LH with regard to the complaint that I was advised to make when I got home. It completely spoilt our holiday. I had initially been really impressed with LH and would have used them for future bookings but clearly once they have received your payment for the holiday, they are not interested in your experience while you are there and do not deal with complaints fairly looking at all of the facts. Such a disappointment. LH may have closed down my complaint but I am looking at ways that I can take this further as this is not good enough.

i'd give zero stars if i could. My husband unfortunately has terminal cancer so i cannot accompany my 14 yr old daughter and her friend and her mum on our planned trip to a friends wedding. All i wanted to do was change my name for my friends husbands name. how hard could it be?? really hard actually. i had to change the flights myself with the airlines involved which i paid £60 to do, then when i rang LH they said it will be another £290 for your new room now as the room you had originally is no longer available! How can it be available when im travelling but suddenly unavailable when my friends husband takes my place? She said we cancel the booking and rebook and so the system is saying theres no availability for your accomodation type. you'll need a different room for £290 more. I refused to pay and said leave it as it is and now it appears my hotel is no longer available! i cant get a word of sense out the chat bot and have been disconnected 20 times. To say this has made an already horrendous situation worse is the understatement of the century. i could cancel but my friend cant, she would lose her money. No mention of a resolution or a refund. im disgusted with LH, NEVER AGAIN!!

Review of Love Holiday Company I had a disappointing experience with Love Holiday Company when I spoke to their customer service team this morning, specifically with a representative named Lucey around 10:20am on April 14th, 2023. I was seeking advice for my first booking with the company, but unfortunately, Lucey's communication skills were extremely poor and almost argumentative. Instead of providing helpful guidance, Lucey's approach was confrontational and it left me feeling discouraged. As a first-time customer, this negative interaction has put me off from booking with Love Holiday Company, despite the prices being within my budget. It's evident that Lucey requires retraining in customer service to ensure that future customers do not have a similar experience. As a potential customer looking forward to a pleasant booking experience, I was disappointed by Lucey's attitude and lack of professionalism. It's crucial for customer service representatives to communicate effectively, provide accurate information, and offer solutions in a respectful manner. Sadly, my encounter with Lucey fell short of these expectations. I hope Love Holiday Company takes this feedback constructively and addresses the training needs of their customer service team, particularly Lucey, to prevent such negative interactions in the future. As a prospective customer, I had high hopes for my booking experience, but unfortunately, Lucey's poor communication skills have left me hesitant to book with Love Holiday Company.

This company is a scammer. Booked a half board basis package online. The confirmation came back room only basis. When I called in to correct it, it was my word against theirs. I had no option but to pay again for meals or be charged for cancellation fees. Rip-off company scamming you for money.

We arrived in Dubai at 11.50pm on 31st March. Our transfer, that we paid extra for (luxury car) didn’t plan to collect us until 5.40am on 1st April. Love Holidays had given them the WRONG flight number, we were waiting around at the airport for ages, wondering where our transfer was. Thankfully, another car company helped us out. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told we didn’t have a room until 3pm on 1st April. So we were expected to sit around, after already being awake for 25 hours, for 14 hours and wait for our room. Love Holidays hadn’t booked us a room on the night we arrived! It was a disgrace. So in order to get a room we had to pay £400 or wait 14 hours. So we paid the money. This company said they apologise for the inconvenience caused but they cannot offer any compensation for the stress caused and the mistakes that they made! They are terrible and have no customer service skills at all. Ruined our holiday! GOT ONE STAR AS NO ZERO
