I have been rebuilding my front porch on my home due to rotting wood. Lowes #1925 has been by go to store in Cornelia Ga which is almost 14 miles away. Many times I have gone to the store purchasing items sometimes duplicates, sometimes needing more, items not needed, too many etc. My Lowes card has been the primary source of purchasing items but sometimes I have forgotten my wallet so I paid in cash. Today June 9th 2024 I am almost finished in rebuilding my porch and I needed a few things to paint the floor with non-skid paint. I’m 70 years old and afraid of falling on wet or icy surfaces. The reason I want non-skid paint. I gather some items that I knew I wouldn’t need to complete my project. Several Items were returned with no issues. I have other items to return but am afraid they will be stolen as well by Lowes #1925. 2 items a sanding sponge and Mini wax wood hardener were issues. I had bought 3 cans of the wood hardener at various times. The csr told me he couldn’t find them to return with a receipt. Informed the clerk I had some receipts in my vehicle and receipts at home. Most often I used my Lowes advantage card but at times I paid cash due to leaving my wallet at home. No need to drive 28 miles round trip when I had cash in my pocket. I took both items back out to my vehicle and started looking for receipts. I remember the 2 items were purchased at the same time but I found a receipt showing the mini wax wood hardener. The sanding sponge was not on this receipt even though I clearly remember purchasing the wood hardener, sanding sponge and a few other things at the same time. He never said he needed the exact receipt only a receipt. I took the wood hardener with the receipt I found back to the return desk. Even with the receipt he couldn’t find them. Lowes camera caught me twice entering the store with the wood hardener $19.98. The store manager acknowledged that the cameras recorded me twice entering the store with the wood hardener but the receipt I found in my vehicle showed returned. Obviously it was not the right receipt. The store manager refused to hand me the wood hardener backing away when I reached for it. Stating the receipt I had provided showed returned. OBVIOUSLY THE WRONG RECEIPT. Refused to give me my wood hardener, store credit for items I intended to purchase to paint my porch floor. It is an undeniable fact I walked into the store twice with the $19.98 wood hardener. Why did she refused to let me leave with an item that cameras show I entered the store twice? Why did she not tell me to return with another receipt ? She never asked me if I had any other receipts. If she had I would have told her I in fact had other receipts at home. It was my intention to take the wood hardener back home and look for another receipt as well as make my purchases for the day. Perhaps it was the way I was dressed. I had been working on my porch and my clothing showed I had been working. I’m not some derelict. I am in fact a 70 year old honorably discharged Vietnam Era Veteran, never been arrested and in my life I have received 2 tickets. One when I was 19 years old for speeding and one for being on my cell phone. Georgia laws regarding cell phone is different than Texas where I lived for 25 years which allow you to be on your phone if you are stopped. I’m not going to get dressed up to go to Lowes and come back home change clothes to continue working. Needless to say I was furious and the cameras will show I was furious. She stole from me and smiled about it. Let me tell you what this has cost Lowes. The wood hardener was stolen from me by the female who claimed to be the store manager and it is my intention to let everyone know what occurred. Tile has been ordered to tile my kitchen floor. Plumbing has already been installed to switch from an electric stove to propane stove. I’m merely waiting for a phone call the tile is in . It could be next week or a couple of months from now. The tile is from Italy. I need a large quantity of the tile so I’m not going to run to different stores piece meal the tile . I want the same run number for color uniformity. These are the following items I intended to purchase from Lowes #1925. backer board waterproof 35 pieces 24.98 =874.30 backer screws 3@ 34.98=104.94 backer tape 5@ 7.88 =39.40 ready mix mortar 4 @ 32.99=131.96 ¾ round white 8 ft 7.84 =54.88 Unfinished 3/4 round 8 ft 6.88 =48.16 Grout 3 @ 34.98 =104.94 Tar paper 2 @34.98 =69.60 Propane 30” 5 burner self-cleaning air fry $2000 $3428.18 Deborah H Schimek

It is really sad that lowes has chosen to not have cashiers at there stores,I was at the lowes in iowa city ia and not one cashier because they went to self check out, when I asked a employee for assistance they wouldn't help and said everyone is going to self check out and it was the only way to go,they were actually very rude about it,so I left my cart full of what I had and went to a store that actually had people that would check you out,I am canceling my lowes card and will not go back

We purchased 3 new appliances from Lufkin Tx Lowe’s. On the delivery date due I had an email from the Alexandria La. Lowe’s that my order was loaded and on the way. The driver called me and was 20 minutes away. Cristian, the driver, was efficient, knowledgeable and really nice, courteous guy. He asked me to come out and look at the freezer. Door hinge at top was broken somehow. He called his dispatcher and they said return it and they would start getting us a.new replacement. Best professional delivery persons ever! Highly rated and yes, Lowe’s and Christian are also highly recommended.

Lowes is a terrible company. I opened a business account to help faciolitate a contractor doing work for our office on a project. Despite the fact that we made a payment in full for almost the entire credit limit, and the money was paid to Lowes for almost 2 weeks, our contractor was not allowed to purchase more material. After an impossible call; with customer service, they still did not release the funds, despite the fact that the payment was already made. Horrible service, something out of the 19th Century. Just riduculous and a little like fraud sine they took my money already.

I went to purchase a dishwasher that Lowes offered a $150 rebate. However the rebate required me to switch electrical providers that would have resulted in a $250 cancellation fee. The new provider’s rate were twice what I was currently paying. So the rebate would cost about $2200 my first year of the contract. It’s shameful that Lowes would offer such a bogus sham rebate.

Lowes VB. I am sure all Lowes are the same. Ordered refrigerator and had it delivered. There is a dent in the side and the doors were not even in the front. There is a dent in the front also. I will never again buy an appliance from Lowes. I will always buy from an appliance store. They never bring a product with flaws. Lowes did twice, unfortunately we did not notice until after it was delivered. Lesson learned.

My wife and I bought a couple of dills plants to plant with our tomato plants. When we purchased them, they looked pretty bad, almost dead. We asked the associate if they think the plants would make it. She stated that if they don’t, come back and we will replace them. I went back today to get them replaced and customer service stated that Lowe’s cannot return them without the dead plants. This was unreal to me.

I tried to return 3 valves that my nephew bought for me that were the wrong valves. Because he threw the receipt away, Lowes refused to allow me to exchange, return or even an in store credit. Worst company policy I have ever heard of. What a terrible company to buy from.

I purchased a kitchenaid dishwasher 11/27/23 and spent $908.46 it stopped working and no I didn't purchase extended warranty. When I called Lowes 1745 Tamiami Trail, Venice, Fl the woman that answered was beyond rude and said it wasn't Lowes problem, I asked for suggestions on repair companies and she stated she didn't know any, when I said my Lowes in Iowa had list of companies she then came up with a phone number to call. I wish I had read Lowes reviews before I spent over $900.00 dollars, our business is also a pro member with Lowes.

I should have read the reviews before I shipped here. I have been buying appliances from Lowes for years. I have had excellent service. This is my last purchase from Lowes. They will not do a thing for you if your purchase is 1 day beyond 30 days. The Customer Service is terrible. They answer the phone and hand up on you. Read the reviews before you shop here.

I had a bad time for $3.17 dollars, I bought two very large hooks and came to exchange them for smaller ones. It's not that I wanted the $3.17 dollars. Unfortunately I couldn't find the receipt, I paid in cash because it was such an insignificant amount. That was at a media show at Lowes in Royal Palm Beach, Monica didn't even want to listen to me, she treated me like trash, I asked to speak to the manager Debbie, she also came with an attitude, at least she let me explain that I wanted a smaller hook. After showing my license, she gave me a credit. What I changed cost that same $3.17. That's why I never go into Lowes, they are very ridiculous. I imagine if it had been $20 dollars, you can see that they are faltering, homedepot never makes those ridiculous things for $3.17

I ordered a fence for my yard . I spent a total of $8000 dollars. I ordered it in April we are now at the end of May. They delivered half my product that is sitting in my drive doing nothing . Im still waiting on 30 post and caps. Ive been on the phone with corporate and managers of the store sales team members the contractor and no help with getting the product i need . Iam at war with all my neighbors because i was told to take down my fence and now they all have walk their dogs everyday. This company is horrible do not do business with . Hire someone private. I even had managers from the west windsor store in N.j. walk away from me while i was on the phone with sales team his name was Rob . I left the store very upset. I want to cancel the order but i feel i will loose more then gain at this time . I will never ever do anything with company they all are trained to lie to their customer especially when they say we will call you in 2 days with answers. I highly warn everyone.

I had an acct with a credit limit of a whopping $179. for 2 years. I was never late on a payment here, or any of my charges. I lost my card and called to get a replacement and was informed my acct was closed a month ago because they did a periodical review and TransUnion said I have too many open cards with high balances. Never missed a payment on anything. Menards just gained a new customer, along with all my family. Their prices are better on most merchandise anyway.

It’s Mother’s Day, and it’s get my new refrigerator delivered. Two large men, claim when they go to move my old refrigerator, they can’t touch any copper pipes!! They hand me the wrench to undue the piping from my old refrigerator. I am a senior citizen, woman and in a dress!!! I was furious and crying. Water came out of the pipe, the water line was hooked up. I didn’t know it was. I never had an ice maker attached to my old refrigerator. The two thugs just stood there doing NOTHING! I turned the main water off, not knowing where the shut off valve was. Now what!! Without knowing where the water line was, I had to take the wrench and attach my old refrigerator line back up. I was on my hands and knees again. The younger of the two, finally grabbed the wrench from me and tightened it up. No one ever mentioned this would be an issue and WTF, there are copper pipes all over the place! How rude and disrespectful not to do this for me. They left the new refrigerator but also the old one. I had to hire someone else to cap off my old refrigerator. Now Lowe’s will not be picking my old refrigerator up until next week!! Lowe’s your level of customer service sucks! You hire these 3rd party delivery companies. I hold you accountable.

I bought a power washer not even 2 years ago. After 3 uses of this Simpson Honda brand 3200 gas washer, it is leaking in places I didn’t think it could. Of course, you have 90 days to return and can buy an extended plan. The Bloomfield, CT Lowe’s was horrible. It took me 1 hour to speak to a human being. Then I got the typical BS. The manager admitted making like $15/hour and treated me like I was bothering her, not looking for anyway to help. Welcome to modern America. After 3 uses, my $400 investment is useless and Lowe’s does care. These workers make minimum wage and could care less.
