Visited the Biggleswade in store cafe - the coffee was much improved but there was a very poor selection of cake. Resorting to the scones we discovered they were very dry and obviously not fresh. The manager said they were new that day! Well either they were old scones delivered or she was being tardy with the truth. Since the covid lock down most M & S cafes cakes have seriously deteriorated. Can you make an effort to improve? I won’t be going back any time soon.

Felt like I was being pressured to leave the shop at 8:00pm! Will never go back

After waiting 3 months for my delivery of bedroom furniture only to be told a day before the delivery day that it wasn't available wasn't what I expected after numerous phone calls to find out what the problem was and a lot of broken promises we eventually received the furniture six weeks after the original date which was very frustrating, we had a lot of promises of a good will gesture which was broken we haven't even has a apology

So disgusted. Today I visited Marks and Spencer in Romford to find that only three tills remained and self service had been extended. It was a Saturday and only one till was open with a queue of elderly people stretching around the end of the shop. It was so upsetting to see people struggling for ages with baskets many of them not confident enough to use self service. Shame on you Marks it seems to be all about the money now. You don't look after your customers only yourself.!

M&S Snow Globe Gin As so many others did I bought this for my wife over Christmas, lovely idea and looks great but my delight was knocked back a little when she proclaimed it tasteless! Then I noticed, it's just 20%, and most gins come in at around 40%, all explained, you're selling half strength gin with a little light and a little glitter at a premium price. Come on M&S foods please don't go the way of M&S clothing.

I ordered and paid for a fillet of beef costing £45. This was in addition to my turkey priced at £56 and sirloin of beef priced at £66. I spent well over £200 on my Christmas food to order in addition to all the goodies I bought in the weeks leading up to Christmas, chocolates, wine and gifts. The fillet of beef had a use by date of 26th December which I decided to freeze until New Years' Day. I took the joint out of the freezer and then read the cooking instructions, this included the instruction 'not suitable for freezing'. I ended up going back to the store to see if they would refund me the cost of the fillet. At £45 per joint, I do not think it is unrealistic or unreasonable to expect to freeze a piece of meet. M&S are now ignoring me, extremely disappointed in their response. I will next year be purchasing my meat from my local butcher!

We ordered an Abbey corner Chaise sofa paid approximately £1800 . We received sofa early November. The sofa didn’t look as the pic on the online shopping. We were very disappointed as the cushions seats keep falling out as the frame fitting we feel is badly made( made in China badly). So have ended with a badly made sofa and MnS told us to take our case to the Ombudsman so we feel they are ignoring their long term customers as we had an MnS sofa before which we were extremely happy thus ordered new sofa on that basis so we very disappointed and mystified by MnS CustomerServc.

I visited my local Bridgwater store a few days ago, where I usually have good customer service. I was not happy with the way one of the staff spoke to me, she was abrupt and rude, all I wanted to do was to buy a product and she made me feel really uncomfortable.

I had a 30 minute time slot to collect my Xmas food order. I waited over a hour to even get served. Their system seems so badly organised. I feel sorry for the staff who were trying their best, but were sadly let down. I was not the only person to fell let down, and I certainly won't be waiting an hour for my food order, when I could have gone round the store and picked all my items in half the time. Shame on you M and S, you let your staff down and your loyal customers.

My order of a Christmas gift was cancelled, and I was not informed. I travelled to another town to the shop, and only then found out they had cancelled it because it was out of stock. It was when I ordered it! I contacted their customer service and the response was, they had sent an email. Checked and double checked including my spam folder, and nothing to be found. Asked the email to ve forwarded, but instead they copied the text in their respinse, so no date and time stamp.

I have been buying marks and Spencer food for a while now and at first the items were lively. Over the past two months now I have stopped buying three of their products as the meat in them all has been very poor quality. I found a price of sinew in the beef and fatty bits. So I tried the chicken casserole and the chicken wasn't much better. In the ham and mushroom tagliatelle the ham was very fatty, such a shame as you pay good money for these products, therefore expect better quality. .

Just been for breakfast at M & S Tamworth. Scrambled eggs …microwaved and rubbery. Bread supposedly sourdough? Over sweet and I tiny bit of butter in the centre of the slice. Bacon ok and a decent portion. Brown sauce like eating sugar on eggs! Coffee acceptable but seriously over priced for the size of the cup. Overall, a shocking standard and totally unexpected from M & S.

Please be aware that the teal velvet sofa Is not just firm it is solid. I tried memory foam mattress topper and quilt underneath to sleep on but still too uncomfortable. Someone came to inspect with no joy. My own fault as daughter slept on it 8 weeks after purchase but I was hoping the toppers etc... would make it comfortable. No reviews anywhere. The link in the Email asking for a review from M&S was faulty. Have requested a link that works so fingers crossed I can let other customers know how uncomfortable this sofa bed is. Also, the first delivery date no one turned up after waiting in all day. Did arrive the second time though and a time slot was given which was pleasing. Very disappointed as I wouldn’t want to sell this to anyone as it’s so uncomfortable.

Purchased cashmere sweater again this year as have done annually for the past few years - shocking colours for cashmere, bright luminous green. Their pinks are the same lurid colour. What on earth has happened to the high quality M and S buyers? Luxury purchase and yet market stall quality.

M&S Steak Puff Pastry Pie with select cuts of British Beef in a rich gravy. Pastry was delicious but had to search for the meat filling. When our pie was cut in half it didn’t resemble the photo on the box. Bit of a con.

Wife always complains she never gets any flowers. Her favourite are dark red roses. Sister in law who works for M&S recently had bouquet sent to my wife who had been hospitalised. Gave me idea to arrange a delivery for our wedding anniversary. Order no: 301-0033287-4110016. When arrived she was highly delighted. Unfortunately did not last long due to condition of roses. Promise of buds but all roses were in full bloom with black petals. She did not want them to be returned but agreed I should send a review. M&S known for good quality but this was well below standard. Will I buy again. No way. Now a week and leaves are dropping and one rose dried up had to be thrown. Yes we do know how to look after bouquets. Also mention to my sister in law next time see her. Anyone reading this do not buy roses from M&S as you will be throwing your money away.

Severe lack of gluten free products in the Rushden Lakes cafe. No choice of sandwiches on display, only one biscuit/cake choice, and a very poor choice of bread accompaniments to hot food. E.g. it wasn’t possible to have a gluten free bacon roll, but the roll was available for soup. How can this happen within a big concern such as Marks and Spencer. Obviously someone in the catering department should show a little more knowledge and care.

5-pack No VPL Microfibre High Leg Knickers: I bought a pack of these as I’d purchased the ‘same’ product before which were excellent. Major disappointment this time: the material is a lot flimsier than my previous ones and the material over the bottom only partially covers mine. I’m a size 12 with a small bottom! Also these aren’t quite wide enough around the tops of my thighs at the front. Just like everyone else they are just using cheaper products which let down their quality reputation. Going off on a tangent, I used to love the Per Una range. Whoever the buyers were when this range started up really knew what they were doing with beautiful clothes…sadly this all went downhill ages ago too. I would totally understand if M n S closed down altogether, too much ‘tat’ and ‘dowdy’ stuff plus cheap imports I store these days. Sooo disappointing!!

The recent clothing I ordered on sale was of bad quality. The fit and comfort level is not as good as it was. Not happy with the product this time
