Had a cream tea in the Beehive Centre (Cambridge) M & S today and had 5 star service - the two guys there - they were absolutely great, so thank you. Made my day (which was my birthday!)

I have been shopping in M&S for years, buying mainly bras and knickers, as we all know the price are quite expensive. But I never mind the price, as I liked the quality. Unfortunately, last few times, I bought some bras in different occasions and when I start using them, I felt uncomfortable, the straps were hurting my skin and the wires on the two sides were digging in my skin. I don’t think the size were not appropriate as I had measurements done in M&S shop itself. I phoned one of the branch nearer to where I live and explained the situation, the customer service assistant advised me to bring the bras in the store. I also explained to her that I didn’t have any receipts as I bought those bra and used them later as I always do when there is sales. I went in the store and the staff were quite rude and not helpful. Finally I asked to speak to a manager but the staff handed me a phone number to call. I spoke over the phone to an advisor and explained my problems. I told her that the bras were almost new and even if they did not refund me maybe they could give me a vowcher to spend in store. She then gave me an address and a reference number and said I should post the bras and write a letter. Therefore, I spent money again to post the bras(3 altogether) and wrote a letter explaining everything. To my surprise, I received a letter from the company. They returned me the bras and said they did not find any fault in the bras. The Manager said he cannot give a vowcher or do anything. I am very disappointed, I spent so much money on the bras, could not use them and paying postage again and did not receive any consideration from the company. Marks &Spencer should train their staff about being professional; why did those people to whom I spoke on the phone gave me a hope and made me waste my time and secondly the person who replied to me was not considerate. I would never lie and said the bras were hurting me. If I knew I would have taken pictures of my bruised shoulders and on my two sides where the wires were digging in my skin and sent to him. No good customer service. I will never ever shop in Marks & Spencer again and I would not encourage anyone. I am very upset and frustrated with the company’s reply. I know customers should be treated fairly and respected. I felt humiliated and hurt.

I love Gobi 65, an indian dish made with cauliflower florets covered in spicy batter and deep fried so when i saw the new plant based cauliflower popcorn advertised on TV I couldn't wait to try it. I wish i hadn't bothered, it was awful, there were minute pieces of soft overcooked cauliflower covered in far too much soggy batter that hardly crisped up at all in the oven, very disappointed and not cheap at £3 for about 10 small pieces, the only nice thing was the chilli dip that comes with it.

I used to buy all my clothes and shoes at M&S. I am a few inches under 5' and a size 6 in most items. Some of the petite range clothes used to fit me but that range no longer exists and there is a very poor selection of extra short size 6 items in the normal range. These are always too long and I have to pay to get them altered. The bras and some of the tops and cardigans do fit me but it is very difficult.

I wouldn’t want to calculate how much I have spent in M and S over the last 45 years, but it will be easy to count it up from now on. Their clothes are getting worse and worse. Frumpy old fashioned and boring and I’m 64! They seem to go for a few designs in tops and dresses and produce them endlessly so it’s the same thing but just in a different colour or pattern and the material is awful. They mustn’t be looking at their customer feedback or if they are they ignore it. I used to buy at least one item of clothing a week from M and S often more than that. I struggle to find anything to buy now. As for SPARKs it would be good to get something for cutomer loyalty - I think it’s the worst loyalty card. In the last three months there have been gaps of weeks between one set of offers ending and new ones being made available - I’m assuming they think they will save money by doing this. They won’t - it only annoys people. The staff have stopped asking people for their SPARKS card - so maybe it’s on the way out.

had a bra fitting on the 24th of May 2019 at the Sutton coldfield branch . was seen by a lovely lady called rosylyn who was very helpful , knowledgeable and caring. she had a very nice attitude and I felt very comfatable around this lady given the nature of the appointment. she explained in detail about how the bras support you and what to look for to get a correct fit and also found me some nice bras would definitely return to marks and Spencer for my next fitting many thanks rosylyn at sutton coldfield branch :)

I have always been a marks and spencer clothes customer but since our local store relocated from the town centre to the retail park in Crewe it is abysmal it’s dark squashed and thoroughly awful who ever picks the merchandise to sell in store? Been in today to treat myself and came out empty handed loads of woolies but hardly any decent t shirts or tops please take note I am not on my own lots of ladies were complaining so restock with new merchandise if possible as soon as possible.

The worst online service I have ever experienced, being spending thousands with M&S over the years, will never purchase anything from them again, anyone reading this try other stores before purchasing from them, you can see why the stores are closing, John Lewis and other retailers are so much professional and care for the customer.

The quality, design and colour choice for womens clothing has detiorated to such a degree that I think one could find better on a market stall! Cheap linen that hangs like a sack, even before wearing, garish colours and designs that my old auntie used to wear. If M & S cannot provide any quality now, then they do not deserve any custom. Many friends , too, say they no longer shop for clothing as the quality isso poor.
