“Bought a Salmon and Broccoli Quiche. Froze it for a few weeks and heated it today. Was enjoying it until I stabbed my cheek with a thick 2 inch long bone! Followed by a long hair! Disgusting! I have photos of it but it won’t let me upload. Also, M&S rarely clean the digestive tract from prawns, even the expensive ones. Asda do it, Lidl do it. Why don’t M&S?? I won’t buy anything with their prawns in. Told Customer Service. They weren’t interested and it’s still happening. They promised me a £10 voucher. Never got it. They ignored my email asking where it was. Definitely gone downhill.”

“Bought slow cooked cola flavoured gammon for a special New Year’s Eve dinner party but it was so terribly salty that it was inedible. Very disappointed as we normally have a lot of confidence when buying M&S food.”

“I bought some party food including Reindeer buns which were meant to be vegetables in hoisin sauce (advertised on TV). They were awful, just tasteless brown sludge. They were inedible!”

“Shocking service from this supposedly 'trusted brand' - We purchased two identical sets of stainless steel cutlery at the same time from our local M&S store - the idea being we would have plenty of 'matching' items for use when we had guests over to dinner etc. The issues began when one of the sets started to delaminate / rust after just 5 months ! - noting this - we requested both sets were replaced as this would ensure we had two sets of the same age / condition - this request was initially declined by a thoroughly rude supervisor in store and later by customer services at M&S HQ. This will be the last purchase we will make from any M&S store as we feel thoroughly let down.”

“I was given a Igo Organic Rose Wine can at Christmas. I just opened it to have with my dinner: it is the worst wine I have tasted in many, many years!!! Quite disgusting.”

“Have to say i have shopped in the Torquay Marks and Spencers for many years and the staff there are lovely but when you read how that section manager Nikki went out of her way to get a innocent man Banned from her store even sending the police to his home with nothing but false allegations and nothing to support it shocks me the flowers she told her husband she won in a raffle at work shouting at the staff in the store which would have been logged on there cctv and putting reviews on her and partner in crimes cars which they new can from the store opposite this has to be the most unpleasant thing that any one could do to a loyal customer and to do this under M+S roof wearing there uniform and use the fact that you worked there for 30yrs its perfectly clear if you lie to the man you love even good morning must be a lie coming from her lips then on top of all that the general manager Mrs Thomas told him he was banned for rewarding her staff for good customer services when he was lucky enough to receive it yet her senior commercial manager Andy took a £100 in cash from him and a week later said we can't take the money but we can donate to charity which is a lovely idea so you have Claire the general manager saying they can't take it and the commercial manager Andy saying we can but have to donate to charity how confused must this poor man been yet HR did nothing to explain to this gentleman why Moxhay and girlfriend got away with this no wonder they look so nervous if they see him lying is as bad as stabbing a person the downfall for M+S is they don't care or value there customers you have to feel sorry for her husband i wouldn't believe a word that came from her lips yet she took chocolates from this man and was more than happy to tell her staff thats the man that fancy me how sick is she”

“I purchased two crewe neck soft jumpers Product code: T381895 The " black" one is awful. It is not even black it is a brownish grey , the fabric is cheap looking and shiny and thin It is truly awful , very cheap looking . Would not recommend”

“My lamb for Christmas meal was terrible.funny smell to it . could not serve it for dinner.always shop at m@s spend pounds in the shop.custermer service.rude.i know when meat is off.even the manager did not have time to come down and speak to me.will not be shopping in these shops due to poor customer service.”

“M&S Sutton Surrey 23/12/2022 my pick up time to collect pre ordered Turkey Crown was 11:30-12 and looking ahead to Boxing day I arrived 30 mins earlier to pick up some last minute fresh foods, pork pies, coleslaw etc! Unfortunately the "Use by" dates were max 25th so pretty useless! At allocated time I joined the queue to collect the turkey, which was very organised and with just 10 people ahead and moving quickly! but just as I was third in line,everything stopped! No explanation or apologies and didn't resume for 25 minutes!! Finally it's my turn, I had ordered a turkey for 10-12 and was handed one for 6-10 and was charged accordingly, but it was not what I had ordered!! I'd had enough at this point, popped the turkey into a shopping bag and headed for the door!! But something made me stop and decide to check the turkey and thankfully I did, as to my horror, it had some very strange black spots across the breast...not something I'd seen before and definitely not right!! I returned to the pick up point, where a staff member (supervisor I think) checked it out and replaced it right away!! As I still needed food for Boxing day, the following morning (24th!) at 8:15am I am once again in your foodhall only to find that rather than the use by dates going forward to the 26th they had gone backwards and now showing a use by date of the 24th!!.. this is the morning of the 24th!? There seems to a problem with deliveries at the Sutton M&S, likely it's a feeling of it being too small to worry about! Thankfully all was not lost, as in the end, I managed to get everything I needed at Waitrose Banstead, which like M&S Sutton, is a small supermarket but unlike M&S, is with their customers in mind, efficiently run!!”

“Purchased the Whole Baked Pear, Pork & Stilton Pie for a Christmas buffet - Never Again!! We are regular shoppers at M&S Food Hall in Mumbles (pobably most days).We love the high quality and selection of food, as well as the excellent customer service we receive. However, although we felt that £15 was expensive, as it was Christmas, we bought the Whole Baked Pear, Pork and Stilton Pie for a Boxing Day buffet. What a disappointment! We opened the Pie to find a large, hard pear in the centre, with a very small amount of tasteless pork pie that had no flavour of Stilton whatsoever!”

“Marks Spencers BAN a innocent shopper for rewarding there staff for good customer service skills what is going on hey surprise they didn’t show that on the TV inside marks Spencers if that’s how they treat there customers that shopped there for over 20 yrs it’s more than sad there good name is ruined 😡 well done Moxhay Harris and Thomas yet Andy took £100 cash from the customer and said he donated it to charity and he is there Top leading manager lead by example”

“Marks and spencer Christmas dinner ruined. Bought turkey crown with stuffing, Marks and spencer changed my order but neglected to inform me that my reissued turkey had no stuffing and was tasteless. Rodney the reindeer pudding, was just a sloppy expensive puddle of ice cream! Never again Marks and spencers day light robbery, £200 wasted along with my disappointed family.”

“shopped at marks Spencer's for many years but when you read how the section manager and her girlfriend lied through there teeth to get a innocent man banned from there store is more than Disgusting and this would play on my mind forever more i wouldn't sleep at night but it very clear the two of them are as thick as thieves and to think she was jogging past his cottage after telling her General she felt anxious when he came in the store to just get his shopping and her husband was ringing her work to make sure she got in ok my god i think we all would feel like that when you persecute a innocent gentleman in the way they did but i also blame the HR department for allowing to very nasty people to do all of this under there roof yet had no evidence at all i just hope when they tuck in to there turkey dinner they are proud of what they did to a gentleman that was so kind they say your lies will cutch up with you sooner or later”

“d Do not order online, I ordered late November a special hamper for my son and his daughter [he is a lone parent, who cannot afford the extras to make christmas special]. The hamper was delivered 19th December, we had not had confirmation of this, because no answer, order was taken back to store. I phoned to enquire when the order would be re delivered only to be told, because it is a busy time of the year delivery will not be made. cannot express here how upset I was, no goodies for my son and grand daughter and not enough time to order else where. I will never use Marks and Spencer again for an online delivery. one very let down customer. Have there been anymore? Jayne Rielly”
