“Had the worst 2 packs of (pork) BBQ ribs ever yesterday. They were part of a £10 Takeaway meal but were nothing but large bones in a a very sweet sauce! They were virtually devoid of any meat (but had some grizzle) and what little there was had a nasty flavour that is known as ‘boar taint’. Never again! I usually buy delicious rib racks from a certain German supermarket at half the price and will continue to do so.”

“My wife was served by a lovely Lady on the upstairs checkout at M & S Wigan called "Lorraine" who couldn't do enough to help her after a recent shoulder dislocation. Brilliant service and we will be back. John & Olwyn”

“I used the taunton branch today for the first time, I have always used Weston super mare and had really good service. But Taunton was a shock I found an assistant in a denim shirt asking where I could find certain clothes she showed me 2 black dresses in her department when I asked her about t shirts she pointed they were down the front and left me to go looking for them, which I couldn’t find. Took what I did have to the changing room, only 6 items was hard to choose but the assistant assured me just shout and they would be swooped over, I shouted nothing I had to get drsssed come to the front asked hubby where assistant was he didn’t know gave up so went up to customer services and ordered on line, then we paid for hubbys clothes and met a really lovely lady who actually wanted to make conversation with us, I commented and said someone actually friendly here and told her of our experience, she thought all staff treated customers the same definitely not, on stock wish they stocked more of the basic range especially the t shirts v necks part of most people staple wardrobe”

“Waited approximately 5 mins to be served ,one customer completed purchase server and her chatting, asked if they were going to be much longer ? They continued to chat about Santander?????,eventually served. An empty store ,perhaps soon to be a customer less.”

“John from Marks and Spencers (Abbey Centre) store Newtownabbey who was working on the tills on Sunday he's such a great help and always smiling and very helpful was able to set up my sparks card as I was having difficulty with and always packs my shopping very neatly and nothing is too much trouble for him - very customer friendly. If you are ever in make sure you go through his till as he will lighten up your day! (:”

“I bought an m&s chicken pie recently. It wasn’t nice at all. What has happened? Pastry was not great -soft & filling was worse. Also in the same range they do a Steak pie & a chicken, ham & leak one. As soon as you add ham - people who don’t eat red meat can’t eat it. Waitrose pies much better.”

“I purchases a dozen red roses from Marks and Spencers 'The Collection' range. Unfortunately when they arrived one of them had been beheaded and one was missing entirely. I contacted M&S and they offered me a full refund and set about following the issue up with the delivery company.”

“I shop in Ealing Broadway branch and have been complaining for month about the huge trolley the unfortunate customer is expected to very difficultly navigate the bulking thing around when I complain to the shop they say yes everyone is complaining talk to head office,but the just say they will lalk to the manager? I wish the shop manager go large trolley shopping around the store,he might learn something,Westfield,Brent cross all have small trolleys at least the obviously listen to the customers,unlike Ealing Broadway,thank God for Waitrose,they have small trolley,”

“VEGAN MICROWAVE MEALS I have tried the Plant-Based Mac and Cheese and the Bean Stew with Cauli Mash so far and won't be eating anymore of these - they are truly disgusting. I was so excited to see these options which I could use as a last resort at work if I hadn't had time to make something but they aren't an option. They smell and taste awful. Back to the drawing board with those M&S or just get rid...”

“I bought a Chicken Korma and Pilau Rice meal for one and Tandori Nan. It was tasteless, the chicken was tough, it was watery not creamy and all I could taste was - salt - very disappointing and I won’t be buying this again. Also the Nan was hard and salty. I used to really love M&S food but I must say Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda do a much better job. You need to step up your game M&S maybe that’s why you’re not doing so well!!”
