“Although I ordered my wool on the 20th of January I still haven't received it .I rang yesterday to inquire why I haven't received it and was told that you were waiting for a colour to come but received notification of this until I rang”

“Not as happy as normal. I order before 14.00 and would normally receive the next day but this last order too longer received on 4th working day.”

“The wool very good value and prompt delivery. However the quality of your download patterns is bad. The pictures not clear and I have found the ones I ordered 2 unreadable when I phoned did not like the tone of reply and you you re-sent one wrong pattern and the mermaid pattern still not clear.”

“I ordered some chunky wool a week ago, only a small amount, but later that day realised that I needed another ball, so rang to have the ball added to my order. The wool arrived altogether in one package, but I was still charged 2 amounts for postage and packing, not very happy with this. I also wrote to customer services asking for a catalogue to be inserted into my order, I did not receive the catalogue, and when I received a response I was told the catalogue would be in the package, which it wasn't. I was really impressed with the people I met at the Knitting and Stitching show and really want to use them, I have not got off to a good start, but won't give up”

“The yarn was okay. However some of the balls were a different shade. It went from mostly reds to mostly blues. Very disappointing. When I realised I sorted through. 3 or 4balls were different shades.”

“I was a little disappointed with the delivery time as I had to phone up a week after the email notifying me my order had been dispatched as it had still not arrived. I was told the order had been delayed as part of the order had not been received until the day I phoned but it would be dispatched that day. I was very pleased to get my order the following morning. More accurate information needs to be given about dispatch times. The quality of the yarn appears to be good but I haven't started using it yet.”

“The colour choice and service for this order of 4ply coned yarn was absolutely excellent. However I am quite disappointed with the quality of the yarn - it feels quite coarse and knitted on 3.25mm needles makes a very firm fabric and I have had to use the largest tensions on my knitting machine so of course the size of what I am knitting is too big. In total I have 5 of these cones so have now to find a way to knit something with an acceptable feel. Sorry Marriner - great service”

“I placed my order on a Friday and received an email next day confirming despatch. When my wool didn't arrive by Wednesday I called and was told in a very high handed manner that dispatch wouldn't have taken place till Monday and to ring again on Friday if it still had not arrived. I am very pleased with the wool and will definitelet re- order again. My only negative comment is with the lady on the phone who made me feel stupid for expecting my parcel so soon. May I suggest you do not send out despatch advices until the actual date of despatch.”

“One of my balls of wool was all knotted and broken in quite a few places. I emailed with photos and have complained but was not happy with the reply so emailed again saying I would like another ball of white wool so I can finish what I am knitting but still had no reply”

“Placed a £31.50 order (free postage) on a Thursday , but the items didnot get delivered until the following Wednesday , rang customer services who gave me tracking code so was able to follow shipment courier DPD collected item Friday with them for 2days then DPD moved it to Hermes who had it for a further 2 days before delivery. Advice dont order on a THURSDAY or FRIDAY if you want next day delivery. Will have to be desperate to use company again. Love knitting deliver on a SATURDAY”

“I haven't used any of the yarns yet so I can only comment on the colours. Both lots are what I ordered but the colours are rather brash. I do prefer softer colours which I understand are easier to dye with wool. That is something for you to improve on.”

“Sorry I can't say much about the yarn I bought from you, as I have not used it yet, I like the shade & look forward to knitting with it, when I have time. I had ordered it to knit 2 sweaters with, then found they wanted a darker shade, so will use it for myself, instead, when I have time to do something for me. Thank you for sending it quickly. “I was a little bit disapointed i with THE delivery times I ordered wool on the saturday and going what was said of the delivery time i expected it at least on the Tuesday but it didnt arrive until the following friday but the quality is good so that helos Jean Johnston”

“I ordered knitting patterns as they were not available in my local Shaw's shop in Pontypridd. My first response from you was to say that my order had been despatched from the warehouse. This gave me the impression that I was receiving hard copies of these patterns. Therefore every morning I was expecting the postman to deliver these. It wasn't until days went by that I sent an enquiry as to where my order was. I received a very prompt reply to say they were on e-mail. It would be very helpful if you could clarify how orders are going to be sent. 'Despatched from the warehouse' was very misleading. I shall be using one of the patterns and have purchased the wool from your shop in Pontypridd. Many thanks Mair Edwards ( Nee Parry)”

“Check the colour carefully in the photo description on the website. It looked white and it was pink. When I queried this when it arrived, I was informed they don't do a white wool in that range and I could return the wool at my expense. I rechecked the photo again and my husband even looked at the picture and it looked white. Will clock this one up to experience.”
