Terrible experience with this company. They were late for the first appointment and took my washing machine for repairs. When they brought it back, it still wasn’t working properly—stopping after 3 minutes and not cleaning. After multiple failed appointments, I had to insist they return to fix it, but the problem persisted. Now they’re ignoring my calls and messages. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. Would not recommend

This company is out to take advantage of customers. My dryer was making a loud squealing noise. Called and they came out the next day. I'm thinking "wow, this is great!" They arrived within the appointment window, took the dryer apart, and did their evaluation. The tech, "Frank," was very nice. Spoke broken English, but communication wasn't much of a problem. "Frank" hands me his phone, the guy on the line says it's the drum roller and Idler pulley kit that needs replace for $310 plus tax. I know dryers can be expensive to fix, but holy sugar! That's half the cost of the dryer. I don't have the money to replace currently, so I ok the fix. After everything's said and done, I'm talking to a family member who informs me the part (as a kit) costs $24!!!! I paid this company approximately $280/hr for labor. Don't trust them. Don't do business with them. It was quick work - we'll see if the dryer continues to work based on other reviews, but I totally got duped by them. Don't make the same mistake I did. And they can't even provide an itemized receipt.

Dishwasher worked but needed a new rubber gasket. Called and a technician came who did not speak English very well. I paid $95 just to give a diagnosis and he had to order the part. I paid $153.01 for the return visit which included the rubber gasket and labor. I asked him to clean the bottom while he was there. A couple days later I went to use dishwasher and it would not work. It worked before he came but not after he left. Should have checked before he left but because it was only a rubber gasket problem, assumed it would work. I am out $248.01 and the dishwasher won’t work.

My experience with Masterfix was excellent. Arranged for tech to come for diagnosis on my Thermador/KitchenAid refrigerator. To buy a new replacement for my installation would have cost me over $12,000 so I had to get my refrigerator repaired. I recv'd call from office that tech will be there between the hours of .....Got another call that tech is on the way. Tech came and checked unit out. He did contact main office and sent photo's. Indeed the tech did not speak English very well, but showed me via his language translation app which outlined the issue. Informed me that I should hear from office soon. I did pay the diagnostic fee. Next day I recv'd call and got email with pricing to fix. Two day later I recv'd another call asking if I had recv'd quote. I agreed to price for fix and subtract diagnostic fee. Recv'd a call to advise part was available (my unit is 19 yrs old) and it would take a week to arrive, and we scheduled date for tech. to arrive. Recv'd another call that part was in and techs will be arriving. 2 techs came worked 2.5 hours and got my unit up and running. Bottom line: excellent communication from main office, fair price, skilled techs, cleaned everything up, and my refrig. is like new. Previously I had 3 other companies come out and one said "can't be fixed", another said "stick it in the garage", another company sent tech, did diagnosis (paid fee) and took panels apart and said "this could be an expensive repair" and would get back to me next day..next day came and no call back and I was left with my unit taken apart. I stopped payment on check because all I got was voicemails when I called for 3 days....no answer. Finally I left message and said " tell me if you don't want to do this repair or not capable, but just give me a call back and I will find someone else". No response. Sorry to hear that others had bad experience, but I gave 5 stars because I got great communication , fair price, and techs that showed up on time. Happy with experience from Master-fix...give them a call.

They were late, spoke very little English and tried charging over $400 just to fix washer. Never stated what was wrong with it in the first place.

I reside in the Pittsburgh area and hired this company to repair my refrigerator due to it not getting cold. They sent a repair man who had difficulty speaking english so it made it difficult to communicate and ask questions. He concluded that the mother motor located in the freezer compartment needed replaced. I spoke with someone from the company named Denny. He spoke English who assured me he could have the part in 3 to 4 days. He took a deposit for the part. It's now been over 7 days and I've been without refrigeration and no one at this company can locate the part. I've called leaving messages for Denny and he is missing in action and never returns calls. I called and spoke with a woman today who also speaks little English and she advised she would contact the warehouse to see if they located the part. Simply a horrible experience and it's costing me more money because we have had to eat out due to no refrigeration. The communication has been horrible very few people speak english at this company. I informed the woman that I if the part is not located today I want my deposit returned and I will hire another company. I can not recommend this company with any good conscious!

They came took money stated I needed seal and drain motor! Came back a week later after promising two days! Then when they came they stated I needed new door couldn’t replace seal! Really?? No money returned and no phone call returned after several times!

Very unprofessional. He make appointments and have you sitting around and he never shows. Make promises he doesn’t cheat. He will rip you off. Do not use.

This company will rip you off and take £99 for doing NOTHING. This is a company recommended by Samsung so it might be a good idea to avoid Samsung products as well. We have a tall Samsung Fridge and separate Freezer . The freezer stopped working and after we spoke to Samsung they recommended Masterfix who said it would be £99 for the engineer plus any parts. This sounded fine as the freezer alone would be more than £1000 to replace. The engineer came out and just switched the freezer on and watched it cut out and said it needed a new PCB board WITHOUT LOOKING AT IT. Rang the office, who said we don't have one and can't get one THE FREEZER IS SCRAP. I have no electronic experience but thought I would have a look at the "faulty" PCB board. It took less than 5 minutes to remove it. It was obvious to me that on the soldered side of the PCB board there was some discolouration on a soldered chip From the internet I found a supplier of this chip and ordered one to be delivered the next day for the grand total of £2.47. We got our son to solder the new chip in place. The freezer has now been working perfectly for the last 5 months. We asked for our £99 back from Masterfix who refused as they don't refund if we were to cancel the visit or if the item is unrepairable. Neither of these were true because obviously it WAS REPAIRABLE. We did get our £99 back from our credit card company using CHARGEBACK. I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AND PERHAPS ALSO SAMSUNG PRODUCTS.

Everything they told me they had to order a part.then they told me the part was in and when the repair man came he did not have a new part or a old part he said they could not get the part but they told me the part was in
