“My wife and I bought a TV online through Mediamarkt Spain recently. We checked it when it was delivered and all seemed well. We erected the TV bracket onto the wall and upon removing the protective film from the screen, we discovered significant damage to the screen, rendering the TV unusable. There was no visible damage to the exterior of the box in which the TV was delivered, so we believe the TV was packaged in this damaged condition at source.We have tried to resolve the issue with Mediamarkt, however they are very unhelpful and profoundly unsympathetic. I would advise anyone against purchasing from Mediamarkt, I will certainly not be shopping with Mediamarkt in future after this unpleasant and extremely expensive experience. If I could submit no stars I would have done so.”

I have been waiting for the EUR 700 refund for a month. After I had canceled an order 3 weeks ago, they were trying to deliver it to me anyways. To deliver the order that has been canceled.
Nothing is working it this organization. I have called like 5-6 times already, went to the store. But all they do is writing some emails to someone.
It is just the shame to have such a large firm with so money people working and customer not being able to do anything.
It seems like I would need to go to police because they are not returning my money. Moreover, they don’t even give me any proof that I indeed have requested a refund.

“Myself and husband brought a 75 inch TV from the Cartagena store and when we unpackaged it you could clearly see what looked like a long smear mark on the top right side. Once we switched it on the mark that I originally thought was a smear was actually a huge crack through the TV.
We immediately packaged and boxed it back and took it back to the store. I explained what had happened and they told me it’s not their problem it’s mine. I’m totally shocked and upset how we’ve been treated. I can’t believe that a company can just sell an expensive faulty item and dismiss you in this way. I’m now left with a brand new damaged TV. Totally shambles of a company who seem to think they can get away with selling broken and faulty items. “Disappointing Experience, Won’t Be Back
I’ve been a regular customer at Media Markt for years, purchasing everything from TVs and smartphones to printers and e-scooters. However, today marked the end of my loyalty.
I went in to buy a Samsung smartwatch, which was clearly marked at €299. The only available options, however, had pre-installed screen protectors—an additional €10 cost that I didn’t want. When I asked if I could buy one without the protector, the staff member simply shrugged and said, "It’s only €10." I reiterated that I didn’t need or want it, but all I got was another shrug and no alternative offered.
Frustrated, I left the store and ended up purchasing directly from Samsung online.
This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered this issue. Media Markt seems to pre-install protectors on a range of devices—phones, watches, tablets—forcing customers to pay for something they might not even want. It feels like an underhanded tactic to squeeze extra money out of people, and it’s just not right.
I like to choose what I’m paying for, and Media Markt has taken that choice away. For that reason, I won’t be shopping here again.”
“I was scammed by MediaMarkt. Made an order on 12 of July, 2024 (more than a month ago) on their website, but haven't received it. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this issue, both via phone and email, I have neither received the product nor a refund. “I guess MediaMarkt is OK, when buying something simple. The people working there are not really knowledgeable in their field though. If you need professional help, I would go elsewhere.
Where the nightmare begins is if you have some issue with one of their products. MeidaMarkt would say that they are just reseller and they can forward your product to the original seller for e.g. repair service. However if the service did not fix the problem, there is anything else they will do for you and you end up with a faulty device. The people working in the customer service are also very rude and without a proper knowledge of consumer law, so they might give you wrong advises.
All in all, if you have any other option, try not to go there.”

Im Februar habe ich ein Smartphone bestellt, das ohne SIM-Kartenslot angekommen ist. Es ist definitiv nicht neu! Daher muss ich es zurücksenden, um ein vollständiges Gerät zu erhalten.
Da ich keinerlei Rückmeldung von MediaMarkt erhalten habe, muss ich selbst nach konkreten Informationen fragen. Nach einer Woche habe ich endlich eine Antwort erhalten: Sie haben es mit DHL verschickt, aber die Zustellung war nicht erfolgreich. Warum? Mir wurde kein Hinweis gegeben... Keine konkreten Informationen... Ich habe mehrmals nach der Trackingnummer gefragt, die mir nie gegeben wurde...
Dann folgen drei Wochen des Hin- und Herschreibens, bis ich ENDLICH konkrete Informationen erhalte, wann mein Smartphone zurückgeschickt wird. Geduld verliert man irgendwann...
Nach vielem Hin und Her wird mir endlich angekündigt, dass die Lieferung nun mit DPD wieder versucht wird. Ich erhalte sogar eine Trackingnummer! Zu schön, um wahr zu sein!
Weiß man, warum mehrere Zustellungsversuche mit DHL nicht funktioniert haben? Vielleicht würde das richtige Buchstabieren des Namens sicherlich helfen! Ja, mein Nachname wurde falsch in den Empfängerdaten geschrieben... Was für eine Leistung! Es fehlen zwei Buchstaben am Ende des Namens. Selbstverständlich wird kein Paketbote irgendwo klingeln, wenn der Nachname nicht genau richtig eingetragen ist. Inwiefern sollte mein Paket richtig geliefert werden, wenn mein Name falsch buchstabiert ist????? Krass ist auch, dass es sich um einen sehr simplen deutschen Nachnamen handelt. Das zeigt das Niveau an Sorgfältigkeit, mit dem man arbeitet (wird es nicht automatisch eingetragen?).
Man kann ja noch ewig mit falsch buchstabiertem Nachname nochmal probieren! So macht es ja kein Unterschied ob mit DHL oder DPP Ich wollte selbstverständlich das Kundenservice davon informieren damit sie es korrigieren können. Doch kann ich nur mit einer freche Antwort: "wir haben den korrekten Nachnamen eingetragen". Ich glaube ich weiß selber wie ich heiße!
Und noch ärgerlich: ich werde mit "Herr" ständig adressiert obwohl meine Vorname deutlich weiblich ist und ich dies mehrmals in Emails erklärt habe. Das ist kein Weltuntergang aber unrespektvoll.
Also, nun um Leute zu warnen: nie bei MediaMarkt bestellen! So spart man sich Zeit, Geld und Nerven! Sie haben kein Kundenservice, nur eine Service von unmotivierten Menschen, die daneben oder frech antworten.”

Yes, I went to check tonie English song because yesterday was discount online 13.99€ so I want to check the exactly price at price check machine. It was 16.99€ so I returned it back to same place.
