“Really disappointed with Mercedes and there non existent customer service at Warrington Mercedes Benz. Partner took Mercedes car in to them on 18.8.2025 as unable to pick up speed, told cost over £6k to solve or very little for scrap. Chose to have fixed and sadly nearly two months on it's still not sorted, left without a car, no one informing what's going on fully or when the car will be ready. 8 weeks without the car and no real idea when or if it will ever be ready. We've always recommended Mercedes however seriously something has gone wrong with the customer service here and I would suggest going elsewhere if possible. Lost all trust.”
“Review of Mercedes Warrington
One of the worst dealership experiences I have ever had. I spent a lot of money on a car from Mercedes Warrington, and within a week of purchase I noticed a rattling noise coming from the media screen. I immediately contacted the salesman, James Lee, who sold me the car. His response was to either bring the car back to Warrington or take it to the nearest Mercedes dealership for inspection and get a repair quote.
I took the car to Leicester Mercedes, where the issue was identified. However, they explained that Warrington needed to authorise the repair cost before any work could be done. It’s now been three weeks and I’ve heard absolutely nothing from Warrington. When I chased them, I was told they couldn’t do anything and that I should deal with Leicester Mercedes directly.
My conversation with James Lee was particularly unhelpful and rude. He dismissed my concerns by saying, “I’m not doing service, so I cannot do anything.” This attitude made it very clear that once the car was sold, Warrington were no longer interested in offering any support.
I find this completely unacceptable, especially from a brand like Mercedes that prides itself on customer service and premium experience. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid Mercedes Warrington – they are happy to take your money but won’t take responsibility when issues arise.”
“Mercedes-Benz Warrington are selling Approved Used vehicles without carrying out proper Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI). This is completely unacceptable and amounts to cheating customers who trust the Mercedes-Benz Approved Used programme. Serious faults were found immediately after delivery, proving the car had not been properly checked. Customers deserve honesty and the standards promised — not shortcuts and excuses.”

The customer service is virtually non-existent, which is unacceptable for a brand of this stature. I hope they take immediate steps to improve their service.”
“Looked at reviews and was only going to this showroom to see the actual colour for my 5th A class. Was not going to buy.
Place was clean, tidy well presented. A salesman greeted me within a minute. Offered me a coffee.
I sat with him and told him what I was after. He couldn't have been more helpful. I did mention to him I wasn't going to buy from them because of the dreadful reviews I had read.
Then I noticed another salesman whom had sold me my 1st mercedes many years ago. I spoke with him about the reviews and he said changes had been put into place to remedy most of them. Obviously you can't please everyone. I then returned to the first salesman and proceeded to buy my 5th. Will take a week or so to get it, but have to say I was very happy with how the transaction went.
Suggest to all those wishing to purchase a car from Warrington Mercedes to visit the showroom and decide for yourselves.
I will of course revisit this site if I have any issues when I actually pick the car up.

“The Good .....reception team excellent Gary the sales manager very professional.
The bad ......I placed a deposit on a vehicle £199.00 that was the first hurdle, the weekend I decided to buy my car the franchise had been taken over from inchcape by an American based outfit.
Gary had no way of taking my deposit due to no computers or Internet, but due to his ingenuity he managed to take my deposit and secure the car I thought. Gary advised he was off the next day and their computers would be on line to give me a valuation on my trade in and he left notes to ensure my intended purchase was ready for a test drive the following day. I turned up the next day my chosen car was embedded still within the show room. I was then told my car which I had put a deposit on had been sold to a person in Newcastle. Though in breech of contract I simply asked for my deposit back it took over a week and several e mails and culminating in my standing in the showroom have a terse conviction with an individual that to be kind was a imbecile. J had to threaten legal action to get my monies back and when I asked for proof of the deposit return the documention gave the impression I had canceled the car. I note further down in this thread a other soul who also had a tough time retrieving monies as well so draw your own conclusions. But my advise is Terry Tibbs looks more professional then this outfit give them a wide berth. I have written to their complaint department and CEO in the states and not had the courtesy of a reply.”

My experience with Mercedes-Benz of Warrington has been nothing short of a nightmare. I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership, and the entire process has been chaotic and stressful from start to finish. I dealt with a salesman named James, who displayed the most unprofessional and disorganized behavior I've ever encountered in the car-buying process.
The car I purchased had an issue with the CarPlay not working, and I was told to take it to a local Mercedes dealership to get it fixed. I was assured that I would be reimbursed for the repair cost. After paying the bill and submitting the receipt, I was promised that my refund would be processed within seven days. It’s now been over a month, and I have yet to see a single penny.
Throughout this ordeal, communication with James has been abysmal. He never answers calls or responds to emails, making it nearly impossible to resolve the issue. When I try to reach out to the main reception, no one ever answers, and messages left with reception are completely ignored by both the sales team and the managers. It’s as if they vanish the moment they make a sale.
This is, without a doubt, the most chaotic and frustrating car purchase I’ve ever experienced. It’s been almost two months, and I am still waiting for my refund. The lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability at Mercedes-Benz of Warrington is beyond unacceptable. I strongly urge anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to think twice and go elsewhere.

“Wow have rang up so many times to not get through and then the two times I have , I got told someone will ring me back … which they didn’t. Booked an appointment for 1 o’clock and then I arrive pregnant with a waiting stood up for 30 mins (no one come over to me to ask if I’ve been seen for 15 mins) anyway got told the guys on his lunch ? “I paid this company a returnable holding deposit in preparation for viewing a car. Daniel Preston was the sales advisor who stated the car was 'superb'. They cancelled the viewing as the manager had decided the car was in 'very poor condition' when it arrived from their sister dealership. I requested a refund of my deposit. After multiple emails and phone calls, which they do not return, we are now at day 23 and my deposit has still not been refunded. This company is a disgrace.”
“I ordered a tray for under my car 12 months ago, was told they would order it for my next service. Told them again and they said same again they would order it. Came to my next service 2 weeks ago, again they didn’t have stock and would order it and for it the week after my service. 2 weeks now and I’ve had no communication and still haven’t had it fitted and the price for the part has increased considerably since I first ordered it!!!”
