I ordered a great tent for a festival which was part of my partners birthday present, it arrived super quickly which i was thrilled about, when we got the festival and put up the tent, unfortunately on of the zips was faulty so i emailed the Millets customer services via the Amazon App and they promptly replied and with all the details i needed and a free returns label and i now have the exchange and a new tent! Great service, would definitely recommend and will be using again!

Generally find Millets okay but bought a Eurohike Family Camping Table and Seating kit from them at the end of May '17 expecting it to last a few years. No chance, have only used it once camping and for some eating out in the back garden and already the benches are falling to bits. The aluminum frames are fine but the composite material for the surface of the benches and table is useless and has already broken, split (as with the benches) or bubbled up (as with the table). This kit wasn't cheap so I would have expected it to last longer outside. Won't be buying Eurohike kit again after this experience.

Good stock and sale items are good value, but having to pay £1 for collection in store knocks them down to a 4 star!

Having bought a few outdoor items from Millets in the past, we went to the Penzance shop to replace our old family tent. We chose the Vango Iris 500 and got a brilliant deal on it but unfortunately whilst on holiday in Scotland recently one of the poles developed a split at one end. Response from Ian at Millets Customer Care was excellent (replying at 20:58!) and a replacement was arranged without fuss. I'd recommend Millets to anyone, and the Iris 500!

I needed to buy my son a coat, walking boots and waterproofs for his DofE, expedition at very short notice due to being let down by a another stores home delivery service. I rang the Rugby store and spoke to Katie, she was extremely helpful. She quickly put together the items I required ready for collection and was kind enough to tell me that I qualified for a 15% discount, because I was ordering for the DofE award which I wasn't aware of. Brilliant customer service and great value for money. Thanks Katie!

Item not delivered despite an email telling me it had. I emailed Millets customer service asking where the rucksack was and had an email from their "Customer Service" department promising they would get back to me within 24 hours. They did not and never have. I spent the next day knocking on neighbours doors asking if my parcel had been delivered there by mistake but without success. Eventually, on the following day, a lady who lived several streets away drove over with my parcel, which was very nice of her. You could argue that it was the carriers fault but Millets should have tried to sort it out and not ignore the problem. Their so called customer services are just not interested in their customers. Needless to say I will never use Millets again and would never recommend them. I am pretty sure that they never read these reviews so I doubt if their attitude will change.

There was nothing wrong with the product that I bought which was a pair of ladies walking boots or the service in the shop (Leek) What I did not like was the runaround that I had from Millets when I tried to claim on their so -called price promise .It was simply them stalling me for as long as they could and hoping that I went away which I did in the end because I was sick and tired of their excuses. You wont see me or any member of my family , friends or indeed anyone that will listen to me in a Millets shop ever again

I placed an order for sale goods from Millets website. I got a confirmation email, then a couple of hours later another email saying payment had been declined, but giving me order details so I could order again quickly and easily. I repeated the order and made sure my credit card details were correct. I got a confirmation email, then a couple of hours later another email saying payment had been declined. I phoned my credit card company to ask what the problem was – they said no problem, we’ve authorised both payments for you and so you have paid Millets twice. I phoned Millets customer service – totally useless and told me I needed to phone their fraud department. I phoned the fraud department and got an answerphone, because it was 5:03 and they close at 5pm. I left a message, but by 11am the following day no-one had called back so I phoned them again. Nobody available, so I left another message. Nobody phoned back, but I did get this email from them: Good Morning Mr Jones, All orders we receive are subject to a security review and on this occasion your orders failed this review. We wouldn’t advise as to why your order failed the review but we strongly recommend that you ensure all the details supply match that of the payment method. I can see that one of the orders required additional cancelling - this has been done for you just now. What a complete waste of time. Time to browse, time to order, time to re-order, time to wait in a queue for useless customer services, time to phone their fraud unit twice. Millets used to be good until they were taken over by JD Sports. Now a complete waste of space. The guys in the shops are still good, but their eCommerce people are shockingly bad.

I bought Hi-Tec Altitude boots which are supposed to be waterproof. On first use in wet my feet were soaked through so I returned them to Millets the following day. They were unable to refund/replace and had to send the boots away for inspection. Millets (JD Sports) returned the boots a week later saying they were unable to inspect them for Health and Safety reasons as they were wet!! Now claiming refund through credit card. Will never use Millets/JD Sports/Blacks again.

Dreadful, £120 new boots leaking on first wet outing. Sent for inspection, and sent back to me with a reproofing leaflet as I 'haven't cared for them properly'. The boots are less than 4 months old, clean, only ever used in dry conditions on Tarmac and trails only. Totally unacceptable. Very unhappy customer, buy from them at your peril.

This is the 3rd and last time for me to purchase anything off this company Basically you will receive on incomplete order (tent with no poles) or Your item, despite showing up as being in stock, is not available when it comes to sending it out and you receive an email with "We're sorry to say that he following items have been cancelled as we had no stock available when we came to pick your order" What a joke, not! As for the customer service, no replies or false promises is what you'll get. Shame as there are great offers, but their not great when you don't get them in the end. Buy at your peril, you may get luck or should that be very lucky!!!
