“I received a gift of 4 bottles of beer from my son ,1 was Brocken completely wetting the package and ruining the card attached But really sending bottles in plastic bag!”

“No items for my daughters birthday, ask for reviews before even sending items and then forgot (customer service agents actual words) To inform customers they are having issues with goods and dispatching items! So nothing for my daughter on her birthday, thanks for that Moonpig, won't be using you again, also refund will be 5 to 10 days! Told well that's the banking system, have a nice day, Bye!”

“The story of the birthday card which is still in transit since June ( it's now October) Reference request : 3544410 The card failed to arrive Moonpig failed to taken any action or give any explanation despite several reminders form me and promises from them. They just keep sending me inducements to use their services. Mistakes happen but appalling customer service is inexcusable. That's theft Moonpig ! Disgraceful. Give me my money back Plus compensation.”

“first of all I found out from my bank that Moon pig have been taking £15. 00 every month from my account, under a different name, apparently its totally legal because what they do is tick a box automatically when you order online that gives them permission to take this money off you every month. It apparently says something like do you want to save money on your next order, tick this box. Despite having my money every month they continued to charge me in full for every card I sent so I didn't save anything. I spent £22.00 on my last order and it was never received either. Terrible company will never use again”

“I have received both cards today they were sent back to Royal Mail we had left a note on the door where to leave them In the shed, but we had to go down and collect them today, and on opening each card no envelope was included, how can we give a card with no envelopes.i was also wondering why lines were across the card and punch holes which you can see quite clearly, is this a fault with this card?”

“Ordered a personalised birthday card today, a whopping £11.99 noticed in time they added £30 for an item ai did not order and found myself signed up to their monthly £14.99 subscription just by clicking the voucher offer. Obviously didn’t want that, went on live chat, but you can only leave 1 message, receive their reply, and chat is closed. You need to log out, log in again and start another chat, think they’ve cancelled the subscription, offered me a refund of £1.1. 99 ..but that’s not even the the correct price, if they haven’t cancelled it I’ll do through my bank.”

“if there were zero stars i would have given this pathetic excuse of a business. they ruined my daughter's 11th birthday by failing to deliver our order, failing to respond to my request for details on where it is, and failing to provide contact details to escalate the issue. i think this company is both run and staffed by low life”

“Had some flowers delivered to me from a friend for my birthday. I received them on Saturday half dead. I had to throw them away on Tuesday. It’s cheaper to but them from a supermarket and they last longer too. Wouldn’t recommend moonpig to anyone”

“Personalised cards consistently arrive without envelopes...this has happened on many occasions with cards that I or my family have purchased. Once ordered 5 cards for different people, all personalised and all came separately to my address but no envelopes supplied, so of no use to me....surely common sense needs to prevail!!! I did complain to Moonpig, who assured me this wouldn't happen again, but of course, it has! Also, as others have mentioned, cards often arrive too late for the occasion, despite being ordered on time!”

“Ordered a personalised card and present for friends on the birth of their baby. Items arrived on time, but the personalised card contained no message whatsoever, just a bar code! As a consequence, my friends had no idea who had sent the card and present and only found out when I rang them to see if it had been delivered. Have twice contacted Moonpig's chatline, stating the order number. Both times I have been cut off after being told that they cannot do anything about it because they don't have a photo of the card in question ... which I can't provide of course because it has been sent to my friends! I have provided the order number, but this is apparently not enough. I'm not seeking compensation, I just want the card I ordered and paid for to be delivered with the appropriate wording. To add insult to injury, it is impossible to reply to their chat line because there is no Send Button on the screen. Tried to speak to someone by telephone, but had a message saying that number I have dialled (on their website) has not been recognised!!! Have used Moonpig for years, but will definitely not be using them again. There are plenty of good alternatives and I will be using them in future.”

“I think 1 is graceful and the company is not deserved. Flowers arrived from my daughter, squashed battered and bruised, most heads missing. Bouquet erm oops! Cant complain to a person have to do online..... best option is keep your money folks and buy from a genuine shop.”
