“FRAUD..I was sent wheels that don't fit my 2019 Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic FLHCS 114 Softail that was said/claimed to fit.Now they refuse to reply after my first complaint. Now the wheels are nowhere to be found on their website.”
“After a long wait I received an LED headlight for my BMW bike. I took my bike to a BMW dealership for the bike's MOT and service. The technician could not clear the fault warning displayed due to the headlight being incompatible with the bike's Canbus system. The headlight leaked and was full of water after a soggy ride home from the dealership!
I was also slapped with a request for an extra £68 Import Duty etc by UBS.
I contacted Motea who told me that I could return the headlight for exchange. Of course I'm glad to replace rubbish for more rubbish plus more Import Duties. Who wouldn't?
Their web site is misleading and had they been a British company I would report them to Trading Standards. The goods are cheap copies and of very poor quality. Don't be fooled by their slick web site.
A complete waste of £350. One very angry ex customer warning others to stay clear.”
“Horrible choice to buy from motea, mirrors came in different glass color and the meta, the frame all scratched up, plus didn’t fit the bike as advertised.
Now the real problem is that after a lot of tweaking I mounted them on my bike and they are the worst!! Keeps falling nd moving all over the place, and the vision is very bad and unsafe!! motea mirrors belong in a garbage disposal not on any motorcycle!”

“The product came to me damaged, it stated ‘free delivery’ and I was charged £83 by the courier. I get there’s an potentially a tax on goods entering the UK but this should have been stated on and or added to the confirmation of order. That way I would’ve been able to work out my outgoings.
When I emailed Motea to stated the above, I’ve received no reply. I tried to call their German line (being a bilingual German speaker but it was “out of use” Gutted!”

“Horrible experience with Motea...they've lost the quick fasteners to fix my saddle cover (during/after renovating my saddle)...now they claim that the quick fasteners were never present on the saddle when it arrived at their warehouse. I have pictures of just before the saddle was sent to them (with quick fasteners), but they keep on stating that they received my saddle without quick fasteners. It's my word against theirs, not difficult to predict who's going to loose this discussion... FYI, the quick fasteners cost around 45 USD ! Absolutely not done, customer service = 0.”
“Ordered a gel seat. Apparently shipped in a few days. Now in Customs in the UK for last 2 weeks but cannot contact their shipper (UPS) to find out why. No response from emails to Motea and their "help" page is useless. By way of comparison I ordered some crash bars from Heed in Poland on a Monday night and I received them on the Friday morning of the same week. No comparison in service and won't be using Motea again.”

“I bought parts from MOTEA online. Not EBay. But MOTEA on EBay is still the same company as MOTEA shop yes? I put bad review comments on eBay and astonishingly their defense as a company of my ill treatment is that they are a different department in that same company. Astonishing! My comments are not ‘ill comments’ they are the truth and the evidence of this will stand up in any court of law.
MOTEA company originally lost my goods, refused to acknowledge this, then after my paying import duties which were not clearly listed on their website, and are still not clearly listed, the goods arrived badly damaged. The paltry €30 that the company offered will not cover half of the import duty. I would have to pay for the goods to be repaired or send them back and incur more cost (more than €30) as they only cover £3.60 of the return postage fees.
Put yourself in my position. Their service is appalling at best! BUY FROM SOMEONE ELSE.”
“If I could give a -5 for this company I would. Quality of parts are sub par and if you buy wheels from them with spokes I guarantee they will snap from the center of the hub. I was told they were made of aluminum. Who makes spokes out of aluminum? 🙄 Please find another company to buy your wheels. Their customer service is rude and they do NOT give refunds and after reading the other reviews I highly doubt you'll even receive them!”
