Unimpressed so far... after several days of "it's on its way!" on the tracking page, the parcel was promised for today. Instead of which, I got a message informing me that the courier had "an issue with getting to the delivery address" but not to worry! They'll contact me again tomorrow. That's nice. I'd prefer it if they simply drove to my house (the delivery address, which nobody else seems to have any issues with, and nor can I think why they would) and delivered the parcel.

Hermes, the courier company that's not fit for purpose. The absolute worst courier company I have ever experienced. Not just on one occasion either!! Tell lies on the tracking information, I live in a multi storey block with intercom entry system. They never ring my intercom then I check the tracking and it says customer not at home unable to deliver, even though I'm disabled and stay in to wait for delivery. Or they'll follow someone in and leave the package on the ground floor for anyone to take or outside the loft door!! The latest debacle has been 24hr delivery dispatched on Monday 26.4.21 its now Thursday 29.4.21 and still no delivery, website saying you're package has been delayed for 24hrs. Absolute waste of space run by clowns and imbeciles. This unfit for business company needs shutting down and the sooner the better!!!

Not professional company people use them because they are cheap. They should be struck off or be fined for there behaviour towards customers.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went to the store, to buy a specific product, and was expected to stand on the street in the cold. No response from Hermes to my feedback. I bought the product online but this was unsatisfactory, slow and frustrating. I could have bought what I wanted at the store in a few minutes. If you want to be treated with courtesy and respect, don't shop with Hermes

Sender paid for 24hr delivery, but 48hrs later and parcel still not received. All attempts at tracking failed, simply defaulting to a repetitive loop asking time and again for tracking number. The worst, the absolute worst so-called courier service on the planet. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID this shambolic apology for a busines!

This firm should be put out of business without delay! They ignore complaints and then bombard the complainant with emails daily stating the complaint is resolved. Clearly customer service has no meaning to this company. I have learnt my lesson. there are loads of companies out there with far more scruples than this one. I will not use them again and would encourage anyone considerin employing them to boycott them.

No delivery note posted, apparently no safe place even tho I left a note, ridiculous. Paid for next day delivery only for myhermes to ruin it, nice one.

hermes never ring my flat buzzer at entrance to flats or knock my door. I know this because I dont work due to disability, and i'm always in. constantly leaving parcels in unsafe places in public areas, such as, in front of my door or at bottom of stairs.

apparently through tracking they have my parcel but Hermes are saying they haven't received it yet, there is no way to contact them either, it's not the first time this has happened and I won't be buying anything that has to go through Hermes again, they are theiving scumbags.

I paid because I care about delivering the parcel, but I think that Hermes has acted dishonestly by extorting me for further costs. My package met the standards of the pre-paid parcel. Nobody contacted me by e-mail after the standard tables. I am not satisfied with the service and will do my best to get my bad opinion about Hermes where it should be

Hermes sent notifications saying they had attempted delivery. Their alleged 1st, 2nd and 3rd attempt times that they claimed to have tried to deliver, I was home each time. They didn’t even leave an attempted delivery slip, or give an estimated time when the delivery would take place. This is the second item I haven’t received my item. There is no customer service team to contact to resolve any issues. Everyone I know has had the same experience with this company at least once. They should not be allowed to get away with what they are doing.

after having 2 emails saying my delivery will be arriving ,i received a 3rd saying they tried to deliver my item but i wasnt in . a b;latant lie i have sat waiting all evening expecting my delivery and have been looking out for the driver and seen nothing .rubbish service!

Still waiting for my parcel...22 days and counting. Tracking number and email sent...just ignored . Now im out of an item , seller out of item and money. So, where is my item Hermes..you said you'd collected it and its on its way...its in your care so you are responsible for it! Theft? Stop stalling, ignoring me and answer the question.

Despite selling an item through Amazon Seller account my experience has been dismal. As least when RM lose parcels which they invariably do, they respond quickly. It is almost impossible to contact Hermes should something go wrong. The online chat is a bot and has a limit to the type of queries you can make and the phone number is an automated response which did not get me further than the 2nd 4 digits of my tracking number. I have no idea if one eventually reaches a human being, I literally had to have a coffee to calm me down after 15 mins of going around in circles. The email correspondence I did receive seemed to purposely avoid making the compensation procedure easy even though they admitted 'we have lost your parcel'. I would not recommend for a small business unless you can afford to spend hours of time tracking lost parcels and reimbursing your customers. I should have taken note of the Amazon seller forum; lots of sellers were really shocked that Amazon has made them a partnered courier, and not in a good way. Say no more.

Sold my phone on eBay for £250. Paid for next day delivery via Hermes. Spent the next month looking at the tracker from Monday March 15th. Finally got £20 compensation 20th April 2021. Had to refund the buyer on eBay. Now down 230 pounds. There is nothing I can do about it apart from cry. Some interesting watching if YouTube search Joe Lycett's clip on what Hermes does with your 'missing' packages, they go to auction and sell them. It's a shame as very convenient drop off points and cheap service, just do not send anything valuable ever.

Never received order but received an email saying delivered contacted customer service via email they said in the email our delivery driver go’s location was showing him at my location and sent me picture as well which did not matched description of my porch nor my carpet or colour of the walls I’ll attach a picture taken by delivery driver and a picture of my door let’s see what response do I get

Ordered a replacement floor mat for the driver's side of my soon-to-be-returned lease car. It was supposed to be delivered 16/4/21, supplier gave me a tracking number; I don't think I need to tell you that it didn't turn up. Check Hermes website - 'We're waiting for your parcel'. YOU HAVE HAD IT FOR DAYS. So now, when my car is returned on 19/04/21 I am at the mercy of the lease firm and their creative pricing schedule. If Hermes can get their act together for long enough to actually deliver my parcel, I will also be stuck with a car mat that I have no use for. Excellent. Retailers, you would be better off nailing your stuff to a frisbee and hurling it over a f*****g rainbow, rather than using this egregious excuse for a courier firm; my heart sinks every time I see their name against an order I've placed. I genuinely do not know how they are still in business.
