Sent a parcel of Xmas presents to my brother in Italy collected by the courier from my house scanned by him gave me a receipt that is the last entry on tracking system this parcel has obviously been stolen just getting fobbed off by customer service paid for insurance on the parcel keep been told to wait for the investigation Do not use this company!!!!!

I arranged for a 2 parcels to be collected on the 1st of December, stayed in all day - no courier, this is the 2nd time this has happened but the first time was 2 years ago so thought it was just a one off - obviously not. Complained by phone on the 2nd, about the non collection and was told it was due to be collected that day, I informed them I had to go out between 13:00 - 18:00. I was assured they would inform the courier of the hours I would not be at home ( they also had and confirmed my contact number and said they would ask the courier to phone me to let me know when he was near). You can probably guess what is coming next! they called during the hours I was not at home. Phoned again today and after another 20minute wait spoke to Dominique and asked her to cancel the order. She confirmed first parcel had been cancelled and refunded, she took the 2nd parcel number and after waiting 5 minutes to a dead line, in the hope that she would come back, I had to hang up so I am not sure if the price of the second parcel has been refunded. I will never use Hermes again and would advise anyone thinking of using their service to think again. Customer Service is non existent. You cannot contact them by email only by phone.

It is impossible to speak to someone when you have a problem. They failed to deliver a package and keep telling me it is due for delivery between certain times - it was - days ago! I will not use companies who use them in future.

Have been waiting 3 weeks for a parcel and the app, after going round in circles with it, is not giving me the option to speak to someone....very poor service. Avoid avoid avoid

My parcel arrived 6 days ago at Hermes depot,said they would deliver in 24 hrs.still hasn't arrived,no reply to emails.This is not the first time companies that use this service have had delivery issues!!!

On the day of delivery I got a notification saying they couldn't deliver the parcel as 'had issue with shipping address' as someone between gymshark and hermes managed to provide only half the address. Have tried and tried to get through to both companies, no response, it has been 2 weeks!! I have literally begged Hermes to deliver my parcel providing my address but no answer. Are the reviews accurate, do they just loot the parcels?

"BBC Watchdog Live has received far more complaints about deliveries by Hermes than about any other delivery company." See the BBC Watchdog website for more info on this horrendous company. For over a month I tried to recover my property from Hermes aka Parcelnet. I even wrote twice to the CEO Martijn de Lange with no reply. The executive office of Hermes does not care about what you, the customer, may have lost to their incompetent parcel courier system, as evinced by the emails I've received from them. After a month of emailing, here is a direct quote from correspondence received from Hermes Executive Office: "Please be advised a thorough investigation has been completed and the item was damaged and in no condition to be delivered and the parcel was destroyed." Parcels don't get 'lost', they get stolen by Hermes staff. Hermes have admitted to intentionally destroying £760 of my property and there is no way I'll recover that money.

Terrible, terrible company. They either claim to have delivered when they have, not that you have paid extra for next day delivery or they leave your parcel wet outside your door

I had a delivery today which clearly stated fragile, so he leans it up the door i go to open the door and it drops. What a tool!!

Have had two parcels from Hermes now that have not been delivered. The first said that nobody had answered when they knocked, which is untrue because I was home all day and nothing arrived. It said a second delivery would be attempted, but its now over a month later and nothing has arrived. The second said that it had been delivered and posted through my letterbox. Guess what, it hasn't. Really sick of this useless company.

The firm is junk! Always has been, always will be. Have worked in logistics since the 90's. Hermes is the worst of them. Whether it be in Germany or the UK. Same problems. Again and again.

Absolutely shower I'm sorry to say - we eventually discovered that our parcel had been "lost" by them but the rigmorole of getting in touch was dreadful, ages on the phone , promises to respond not kept , mpre ages on the phone , refusal to be allowed to talk to any management - theyre ok when it works but if things go wrong absolutely hopeless and rude.

Hermes has also had my parcel at the local depot since 19th November despite having said it will be on the move within 24 hours. Tracking has NOT been updated since 19th November and the online assistant is no help. Where is my parcel? What's the point of shipping information of the information inaccurate or not properly updated? Why is everyone having the same problem?

Parcel was delivered but according to Hermes it was still on its way!!! Incorrect information. Obviously not properly scanned! Rubbish!!

shameless Hermes stole my 8-year-old granddaughter's birthday present. not only stole it for 2 months tried to cover it up, such as your parcel was stopped by custom because it contained prohibited item,( can you imagine that a kid birthday present)? then they said we found it & return it between 8 to 12 weeks( what happened with the custom then?) then in order to return your parcel, we need proof of collection, proof of purchase & proof of address. ( I sent those 3 times, but they replied we need more information) this company allows the temporary employees to help themselves, just check the newspaper reviews.

They have been leaving out parcels half a mile from our house, when my partner asked about this they got very intimidating towards her, constantly emailing head office asking why they are leaving out parcels that far from our home(we live in the countryside) and no reply! They have now sent one parcel back to ASOS as they couldn’t gain access to our home, (we live on a working dairy farm) and I’m now expecting two more from ASOS and sports direct which I assume are going to get sent back, it’s absolutely disgraceful, and the drivers excuse is that they only get paid 7p extra to deliver the parcel up our drive so they leave on the main road!!
