The insurance part is an absolute scam! Here is what happened to me: I've booked a delivery for a product and added insurance of £100. It could not be picked up on the 12th of April, so I've received an update of it. Next day I have seen no update, so asked the seller if it was picked up or not. They responded: yes it was. A lady came, scanned, and took it. No alarm bells so far. I started to become concerned on the 15th that no update happened on any days since the 12th. It still says to this day (over a month later) that: "Your friendly local courier couldn’t collect your parcel today, we're sorry about that. We'll try again on the next working day". I've been told it'll be investigated and I'd get an update. No response whatsoever. Another 3 calls on subsequent days, promises but nothing else. I could make a claim finally so explained that whatever happened to it, it went missing. I'd say the courier probably decided to keep it actually. Anyone can work for hermes as a contractor. (had a drunk guy showing up a few years back btw) The worst part is that following lots of back and forth (proof of value, purchase, explanation etc), they finally decided to reject my claim. Well that's an absolute scam! I haven't received my parcel, the communication was absolutely rubbish, I was treated very badly as a customer and finally they rob me. I'd advise anyone to keep away from this company and boycott their services for their own peace of mind.

My parcel has been at the depot for 6 days. It was sent via 2 day delivery. Every time I have ordered anything of high value and the seller uses Hermes, it goes mysteriously 'missing'. Guarantee there are thieves at the depot. Can't contact a single human and every time you email them it takes two days for them to reply, they stall and stall and stall and there are never any consequences for these incompetent thieves. How they keep getting away with this is insane.

I have received an email that says it is from you. It says that they have been unable to deliver and are asking me to reschedule and pay £1,45. I don’t think I’m expecting a parcel but it’s possible. I’ve tried reporting this to Hermes but there is nowhere on their web site to do so. Poor service in these days of rampant cyber crime. This is a shame as I have thought your service much improved over the last few months

all i want you to do is remove that one star i have just clicked on please. Because you don't even deserve one. you are creating sort of public disorder by giving out false information to your consumers and under trading laws protocols, you shouldn’t be in business. Honestly!! Regarding my personal experience?trust me EVERYTIME i have had expected delivery from hermes its ALWAYS been an awful experience. I don't get it though,you know people are not happy with your service but still trying to carry the dead elephant. Wont be too long....... not just the company but the employees will have to pay a price for cheating and giving false information out to customers.

Our Hermes delivery driver here in Tewkesbury is DANIEL. He is EXCELLENT in EVERY WAY. He always goes the extra mile to be most helpful , very polite and cheerful even on rainy days and he is also very efficient in his work. They claimed to have attempted delivery, yet it is impossible to approach our house without us knowing. We were in all day. No card was left, so they clearly never attempted delivery. When they did finally deliver after the weekend, we were out, but they ignored our instruction to leave it in a safe place and they left the large parcel ON THE FRONT DOORSTEP, in full view of everyone. So if your parcel hasn’t arrived it may be late, or not bothered attempting delivery, or stolen from your house. You’ll never know, and good luck trying to chat to the bot they use for ‘not live’ chat.

Shocking service. Arranged collection on 28 April 2021. No collection. Rearranged collection for today. Watch this space. I suggest to everyone that you contact the CEO directly and then file a report at https://www.coronavirus-business-complaint.service.gov.uk/ letting the CEO know you've reported them. Hermes are borderline thieves. One star is too good for this shower of a company.

I am sorry that you have to give one star to get on to the survey page. My view is that Hermes do not warrant any stars. I arranged for a parcel to be collected on 29th of April to be delivered to me. It is now May 10th and the parcel is still awaiting collection. So far two attempts have been made to collect without success. Not because the sender was not available but because the courier was unable to collect apparently because of the size of the parcel. This parcel is no longer than 60 inches long and 8 inches deep, but Hermes are apparently un-equipped to deal with such a massive parcel. It is impossible to contact a live person at Hermes, and the automatic help line, named Holly, only has basic comments and recommendations and is of no help other than confirming that there is an issue with collection and ending the call. I have tried several contact numbers which are either no longer in use or direct you back to Holly. The communication channels are non existent. Email only tells you what you know already. Live chat doesn't exist because it is Holly, and it is impossible to find a telephone number that does not direct you back to Holly or a number that is still active. I will not be using Hermes ever again which is a shame because my wife has numerous parcels delivered to her by Hermes and we have an excellent relationship with the courier at this end.

Waiting for 6 days on a standard 2 day delivery service. The app has stopped being updated and the parcel is "with my friendly courier" who arrived at my address, rummaged around his van for a full 5 minutes and then drove off. I have to wait until my parcel is 2 weeks late before I can report it missing. This is the 3rd parcel out of 5 I've experienced issues with and the second that has gone missing. If I could rate this company lower than one star, I would!

They said an order being sent to me was cancelled. The sender confirmed it was picked up. No way to get any sense out of phone enquiries

One of the worst worst worst worst worst delivery service , worst service, worst customer service ever for me. Liar company . Make same excuse all the time. Call agents have No information at all. Please please please never use it again in Germany.

Extremely poor and unreliable service. I was sending a parcel - paid for collection. Nobody came, nobody tried to contact me, customer support is just useless answering machine. Do not use this service, avoid at all costs.

They took over a week to delivery a parcel for me, driver updated delivered and wasn't. Added a black picture saying was delivery which he steal the parcel and open. After a open a complain on the worst website Hermes which I talk to a Robot the finally found and managed to redelivery on Sunday which is really weird. Worst company in UK, can't talk to anyone, really bad reviews and some drivers steal your parcel!!!!

Totally useless. Firstly they don’t bother to try to deliver but just post that I wasn’t in. They didn’t leave a missed delivery card. The bottom line is that I waited in all day and no one came. Next time I ask for it to left in my porch and it’s left in the rain at a gate 200 metres from my house !

Everything. Delivered to incorrect address. Said recipient wasn’t in when they were in the house with the front door open all day! When asked to deliver to alternative address they tried the same address which I told them no one would be in so they rescheduled again. Package damaged when finally arrived. Can’t speak to a human being. Robots only give same answers no matter what your issue. They are just absolutely terrible and I will now check when I use a retailer to see who they use to deliver their items before I shop with them. If it’s Hermes... it’s a no from me.

I’ve sent a parcel to a customer. The address was checked and validated. The tracking now states “Can you give any help for this delivery” I’ve gone onto there robot help service, and asked what help they need, besides the delivery address?!

I gave customer service my phone number, as my buzzer wasn't working. The driver has come now again, not rung me, and I haven't received my parcel. Then you've got a robot to answer your questions. I was told by the customer service agent that the driver would ring me no problem. And here they've come twice and one more time, and I still won't get my things. Yet the driver wrote that they attempted to deliver. Ugh.

Lost track of the amount of parcels i… Lost track of the amount of parcels i send that go missing in my local depot (Bolton) but at least 6 in the last 2 weeks. Have now switched back to Royal Mail. It isn't the couriers the problem is definitely with organised crime within the depots. Always seems to be weekend as well. 4201168249016383, 8248398253326782, 0607482251825583, 9077688254573386
