“I have to challenge these one * reviews. I live in West London and many of my suppliers use Hermes. My local driver is regular, polite, reliable and most efficient, arriving between 1200 and 1400hrs daily. I have never had cause to complain.”

“My parcel was allegedly delivered 2 days ago at either 16.30 according to the email, or 17.30 according to the app, ( i checked both at 17.00). I was home all day no one came to the door, no parcel was left and I checked all over the place. Unfortunately, Hermes keep referring me back to retailer via their automated system. Even the highly expensive phone line appears to be closed now. Sports direct have been almost as hard to contact and I have yet to hear back from them. This is not my first problem with a delivery from Hermes but after the other order which sadly is due from them this week, it will definitely be the last. When trying to contact Hermes by phone it was suggested I email, if anyone can find an address i'd love to know it as I can't seem to find it. Shame I can't give minus 5 stars.”

“Rubbish rubbish rubbish .... you pay for what you get .... waited 3days for them to collect a parcel but they couldn't be bothered. Please please please dont use these ... pay the extra 50p and get the next carrier.”

“wish there were a zero stars as I'm reluctant to give the 1, they say they delivered my package, they lie! I haven't left the house in 8 weeks, have a ring doorbell and CCTV cameras on constant record, nobody came! not only do they lie there stupid about it. please please don't use this company until they sack all the thieving drivers and only employ the honest ones. and why can't they let you speak to a human about your concerns?”

“Rubbish service they are liars. They lied saying tried to deliver my parcel at the exact same time i’m at my front door whoo did they try to deliver ??? God actually knows!! Dont recommend definitely stay away from hermes!!”

“I sent the package twice and they damaged it. She was well protected and I wonder how they had to throw her. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. HERMES THIS CAN ONLY BE SHIPPED.”

“I ordered an item which was meant to come between the 6th and 12th of may. The tracking said it was in the depot. They proceed to email me at 8:40 am on the 3rd of may to tell me my parcel will come between 8am and 12pm, 40 minutes after the earliest ETA! I was out, headed home, no note, no parcel and the tracking now said that I requested to send it back which I absolutely did not request. I tried to contact them but it is impossible to talk to a human person, you deal with robots that won't let you through. I contacted the seller and he said they told him I requested for it to be returned to sender. He said it had a non signature note and should have been dropped at my door. Appalling service, bad communication, no customer support, no way to talk to anyone, they blame you. They were also seen on tv for putting most of the undelivered packages, with addresses and info on, into auction. they are not trustworthy and I will not buy anything from anyone using them ever again.”

“Honestly would give zero stars if I could. I do not believe for a second this company has a 4 star review Today I got a notification that my parcel had been delivered...it absolutely had not. Sat in livingroom with blinds open plus a dog that barks at the slightest noise yet they managed to deliver without been seen or the dog barking Proof of deliver...showing location on my street..half way up the street!!!! We all know there’s a lot of negativity around this company, I’ve never had the displeasure of them previously but unfortunately the store I ordered from uses them Sure they recently featured on Joe Lycetts programme Got Your Back. Nice to see they haven’t changed there ways Scum bags”

“Very unhappy, next day delivery I have paid extra for is late and is still at the Hermes local depot (it has been here now for 3 days). Have never had this issue with any other couriers, very poor service from Hermes”

“Absolutely incompetent, packages are either damaged or stolen! The drivers never knock on the door just leave your package somewhere close to your door, wether that be a puddle or bush. If you have the option do not go with Hermes!”

“I ordered a craft kit 5 weeks ago and the company uses Hermes to deliver. After 3 weeks and numerous tracking updates confirming Hermes had the parcel, they lost it. The craft company sent a replacement out 10 days ago. 3 times I have been assured Hermes will deliver that day during a 4hr window. 3 times they have then delayed it by 48 hours. It is impossible as a recipient to get through to them. No business should use Hermes as their delivery company. They will ruin your hard-earned brand reputation!”

“Iv come to the conclusion that the very few good reviews on here are submitted by Hermes staff. I suggest you go onto the Hermes page on facebook to read the true reviews from genuine people who have been let down by this totally unprofessional company. This is why Hermes make it virtually impossible to phone them and what can I say about Holly the robot (online chat) she just says same thing over and over. "Item delivered"”
