Constantly send a generic EMail apologising for a delay and hope to get the delivery back on track within the next 24 hrs. Dreadful service.

After taking the trouble to insure my parcel, which they lost with 30,000 others, I tried to claim on the insurance. My watch which was originally delivered by Hermes was on their extensive list of prohibited items. Before using Hermes, download and read their extended list of prohibited items. You Can't post anything!!!

Received an email, at 12.16, saying that my parcel would be delivered between 12.00 and 16.00......advance notice? This was a signed-for parcel. Covid understandly means that parcels can't be physically signed for but should they be left on the doorstep, with no one at home. Additional to the above the parcel was 'bashed' on all corners. In future I shall enquire about the courier before buying and refuse to purchase if it is Hermes!

I’ve always had issues with Hermes and I actually hate them and dread whenever they are delivering my stuff. I order over £150 worth of makeup, and they just threw the parcel over my gate!!!

Hermes has a good business model but translate it into an absolutely terrible service. After sending over 40 parcels with Hermes I have given up. I have spent countless hours arguing with Holly and other electronic devices Designed to grind you down. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely shocking service. In the past 2 months they have failed to deliver 2 Wilko orders, 2 eBay orders and 1 GardeningDirect order on time. The 1st Wilko order was eventually sent back and I was refunded despite the fact that I was present at the delivery address on 2 of the 3 occasions. The 2nd Wilko order finally arrived 3 weeks late with a nice glass vase in lots of pieces. I had again been present at the delivery address on 2 of the 3 occasions they "tried" to deliver. Same with the eBay orders, finally arrived 2 weeks late, delivered by a rather sheepish driver. Along with a load of dead lavenders that had clearly been sitting in their depot for some time. I'm still awaiting refunds from Wilko and GardeningDirect and have made it clear to Wilko that I will no longer buy from them as long as they continue to use such an inept delivery service as Hermes. Shame because I love Wilko stuff but there you go. To be fair the eBay stuff did arrive finally after 3 weeks and was not damaged but I still had to contact the sellers. The live chat is a joke. Doesn't tell you anything you don't already know. The average email response time is also a joke as it is an automated reply. What an absolute joke of a "delivery" company. I will never buy from anyone again who uses these clowns. I also have it on good authority that they have to throw parcels in the van as the conveyor belt at the local depot (Newmarket) is too fast. Please don't touch Hermes with a bargepole. If you need a bargepole please don't buy one from someone you uses Hermes to deliver.

I have the same delivery driver and he could not be more helpful. He is an asset to Hermes. And I want them to know this. It’s so easy to complain and I need them to get this compliment

Hermes constantly deliver an abysmal service. I’ve not once received an order at the time they’ve originally sent me. Never. Ever. Today’s delivery is currently 5 hours late, I received the notification that it was going to be late an hour and a half after it should have been delivered. If any companies currently use them and are reading this review please change your delivery company, for the sake of my sanity...

Awful company awful service. First time I’ve used them, and they’ve lost my return parcel so I can’t get my refund. To make it worse they’ve deleted my tracking number off their system so it’s impossible to contact them in any way. I’ve got photo evidence that the number did work as I screened shot the parcel when it was picked up and now I can’t do anything. Will never use these criminals again, and have told anyone that’ll listen to avoid this lot like the plague.

Parcel sent including handmade gifts for my father from his grandchildren from Xmas, Birthday and now Fathers day. He's been unable to see the kids due to Leukaemia treatment and isolation. Fully insured package for those gifts that could be re-ordered. Parcel marked as delivered and signed for, although Hermes concede there is no GPS data to support this and no photo due to Covid 19 Standards. We have video evidence of the date and time to prove that no-one delivered. Chatbot online goes no-where as it just says it is marked as delivered. Email customer service auto response saying its no long a support change use the Chatbot! Called, phone lines down for 2 days. Hour wait and logged a ticket. 7 days now and still asking how to claim on the insurance for the clearly lost (or stolen) parcel. Updates every couple of days stating the issue has been escalated and sorry for the inconvenience. Save the time and use any other delivery service. If you must use Hermes don't bother with the insurance as apparently you will not even get a straight answer on how to claim.

My heart sinks when we discover myhermes will be deliverying our orders. The tracking info is always wrong, they say they tried to deliver but you know they haven't, always late. In the past we have resorted to going to the depot at 8am to pick up items needed. The latest issue, they say my parcel was damaged and couldn't be delivered ....rubbish, they just couldn't be bothered to drive to us because we live in the countryside. Shocking!

No way to contact them, they give you no information and don’t deliver your parcel.

For the same package and the same order it happened twice that they notified me they had made an attempt to deliver the package at my home which is completely false since for both "attempts" me and my neighbours were home. It is a very unreliable service indeed.

Once again my parcel was dumped in the garden at the end of the drive (a previous parcel was even wedged underneath the 5-bar gate in full view of the road) instead of being delivered to the door or left in my designated safe place. On-line I was advised that 'my parcel had been delivered to the designated safe place' when clearly it hadn't. This time it was left at night so if I had not been eagle eyed, it would have been soaked by the rain overnight. I dread ordering something and being advised it will be delivered by Hermes. Many other companies deliver to this house with no problem but not Hermes.

I sent a return to Amazon supplier and I can track the parcel was picked up by MyHermes the following day but no further and that’s now 17 days ago. I tried using on line help called “Holly” which was no help at all as it didn’t recognise the tracking number even though I can track it! Shocking system. I then sent an email to customer service support hoping I’d get some human help and got an automated response telling e it’s no longer a help email and to use the useless Holly support. Thanks a lot MyHermes! I will be making a claim

Ordered from Amazon for next day delivery. Toilet roll as I have medical conditions and can't leave house due to Covid-19. Meant to be delivered Saturday time kept getting pushed back in Amazon notifications. Then it said it would be sometimes over the next 3 days. Then I received an update that they had tried to deliver to me at 12:31am which is a total fabrication in Hermes part. Now I'm stuck indoors, no family about and need toilet roll.

Not a complaint ...but I cant find anywhere to give you positive feedback...Just want to say a big thank you to the Hermes driver who collected from NISA in West vale, Little Neston, South Wirral today at 5pm. He was just about to drive off and saw me in the queue with a parcel and stopped, got out of his van, took my parcel , went to the front of the queue to get me a receipt for me before driving off with the parcel - all with a friendly smile. Much appreciated...he wasn't English (eastern european I think) excellent customer service and much appreciated. If it could get back to him it would be nice....

Hermes is AWFUL. There are numerous reasons why Hermes should be AVOIDED. 9 out of 10 times the parcel will arrive late (5-9 days later than shown), I have had numerous parcels that have been torn/battered about with no reason or explanation, The parcel will be stored in your 'Safe Place' like over the wall/in a hedge next to the house or even on the front doorstep! (Very safe!), The parcel will not show at all due to 'the courier couldn't find your address' even though there's a big number 1 on the front door! The courier's sometimes don't even ring the doorbell or knock so as to save time, and you will get a 'sorry you weren't in' message The help team don't seem to have any contact with the drivers if anything goes wrong (which it does frequently), so you basically have no choice but to wait for something that may or may not arrive, and see what condition it will be in when it does. In summary, absolutely terrible company that should be avoided at all costs
