I use Hermes for my eBay postage and have done for years, but I'm looking for a new courier since they have changed the label page, its STUPID !! No fast track to eBay anymore, takes twice as long and an ENORMOUS label which is no good if you are sending a smaller item ,Sort it out please !!

Claim they delivered parcel. No notification through my letterbox. Email shows pic. of doorstep, with no details of where it is, but it is not on my street.

Says it's been placed in a safe place yet could not find it and my front camera didn't pick anything up. The picture proof was just a black screen.

I have received an email and text from MyHermes UK that my Asos parcel was delivered to my student accommodation. However, the wrong package was delivered. I have upload screenshots as a proof. I tried contacting Hermes and was not able to find an email or number to contact them from, only an automatic Bot with limited capabilities to track my parcel. If this review was received by any of their customer support services, I would like to request either the right package to be delivered or get a refund.

We have a very incompetent delivery driver. He repeatedly leaves our parcels at the end of our half mile driveway (we live on a farm) on the public footpath. He’s left our parcels out in the rain, dumped them in long grass and even just thrown one of our parcels over our gate, not caring where it landed! When questioned about why he doesn’t bring our parcels to our door as the delivery information requests he told us that he didn’t want to damage his dad’s car!! Very frustrating. Lazy and incompetent. He shouldn’t have a job with Hermes if they care about their reputation.

Dear Hermes Delivery Service. Whilst driving along today listening to Greatest Hits I was inspired to write you a review on your Professional Delivery Service. A LONG LONG TIME AGO, Once upon a time there was a Parcel We will call the Parcel Ernie. It was about a month ago to be precise. Ernie apparently reached Oxfordshire but was promptly sent back on a van RETURN TO SENDER.. Anyhow my client wasn’t very happy and neither was I So I decided to give you a call the state my frustration. Almost a month to the date and having phoned and phoned and phoned and having lost count of the number of times I have called and and being told WE ARE BUSY AT THE MOMENT ANSWERING CALLS YOUR CALL IS IMPORTANT TO US PLEASE HOLD. YOU KEEP ME HANGING ON THE TELEPHONE Each phone call resulted in a minimum of a 20 minute hold, and on the occasions it was answered (twice) it tried to connect I was immediately cut off. As a result of the many hours on hold, I have now devised words to the music (that has no words) I have also been brainwashed by the tune and I can hear it constantly whilst asleep. I CANT GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD Now your response is not very Professional, would you not agree Hermes? HOWEVER, today was your last chance it was NOW OR NEVER, and FINALLY IT HAPPENED TO ME. I got connected. I WAS SO EXCITED, the phone was answered (following a 30 minute wait) I almost peed my pants, and I completely forgot why I had called. However, Ahmed put me to rights and brought me back to reality, Ahmed had a great sense of humour. You need to put that on your Job Applications, it goes a long way in your business. After discussing with him my lyrics of the tune with no song, I told him that the tune you should use should be from MISSION IMPOSSIBLE as it would be a far more appropriate piece of music. Having explained my frustration, Ahmed filed me in on the situation with ERNIE. Apparently Ernie was the FASTEST PARCEL IN THE WEST (of Yorkshire). He went to Oxfordshire he arrived in the Depot and was there for 15 minutes and then sent back RETURN TO SENDER, the reason given was” unable to get Access”, but ERNIE never left the depot….mmmm. Now Hermes, DON’T LIE TO ME, but don’t your terms and conditions state that you would KNOCK 3 TIMES before returning. I think the” No Access” was a bit of a porkie by your delivery driver. As a courier driver for a Professional Courier Service myself, I understand we can all have bad days, like hitting every RED LIGHT in the district, hitting Floods, Roads closed, RTA,s , AND even on occasion getting lost, but really……….I think this driver was having a really really BAD DAY. He really must have been ON THE ROAD TO HELL. Was it snowing in Oxford that day? Or a Hurricane/Tornado, perhaps a Sunami? However, thank heaven for guys like Ahmed who said he had been working from Home and was extremely busy. Ahmed organised my refund, apologised and even gave me a voucher code. (very happy now) Having used Hermes for a number of years without incident, I sincerely hope I don’t suffer this kind of incident again, and my restless nights of the nightmare tune can be put to bed. ITS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY. After all it was only £2.90 but it was about the principal as a professional company particularly of your size I would of expected a more Professional Response. After finishing my phone call, I turned my radio back on and what was playing……..ITS ALRIGHT NOW ……. Magic. Yours professionally Wendy Brown.

Absolutely AWFUL courier service of late. Far too many lost, damaged and delayed parcels. New website is totally naff! Labels don't print out and bulk uploading is now non-existent! Claims take twice as long to process as they used to and staff are far too remote. Why don't you end the misery and instead of constantly shooting yourself in the foot blow your brains out. That way we can all have an end to the frustration!

Received a parcel from ebay seller,marked fragile and very securely packaged. The package arrived with the outer and inner wrapping torn open. I suspect that someone thought it contained a smartphone or some other valuable item,not a used remote control!. Not good!.REXYBOX1943.

Firstly, could you please think hard about providing a zero star rating especially for Hermes and Yodel? Just had a parcel "delivered" by Hermes (from Cotton Traders). For "delivered', read "tossed over the gate, because I couldn't be arsed to walk down the drive to the actual house" A photograph taken to prove delivery was uniformly black, didn't show the parcel and it's been piddling with rain here for half an hour. This is actually normal for Hermes in this area of Kent: getting a parcel actually delivered to the door is a noteworthy occurrence. With the possible exception of Yodel who are uniformly awful, Hermes is quite simply c**p and no retailer should use the company and presume to charge for its services. I now always ask an online seller if they use Hermes: if the answer is positive, I go elsewhere. The problem is that firms seem to fall back on Hermes, without telling the customer. I shall only be happy when I hear that Hermes has gone bust and has ceased trading. Please, please do not use this firm if you can possibly avoid it.

Parcel was delivered to wrong address and when Hermes eventually responded with We would kindly advise you to check with immediate neighbours Don't they know it is their responsibility to deliver it to the correct address not the person receiving the parcel to go looking for it as they are the ones being paid to deliver it.

How are these jokers still in business? They are impossible to contact when one of their delivery drivers inevitably screws up. If I see that Hermes are used for delivery by a company, I don't order from that company. The choice is yours, sellers, use a reputable delivery company and stop trying to cut costs with these halfwits.

They have lost a parcel on 6th nov Also left a card 2day saying they left another parcel in my blue bin it was not there also never gave them permission to leave it there anyway!

Awful tried to use parcels never collected.the last two deliveries did not arrive at my address.no customer service to contact be warned don’t use

Hermes deliver a very poor service. During the past 10 days there driver has falsely claimed that he/she attempted a collection and has dropped 2 boxes behind our gate with no attempt to deliver items to our house. We have had no problem with any other delivery service. Impossible to contact the company by phone or email.

I would give a MINUS had there been one . My parcel is missing and I cant speak to a human. This is appealing please beware folks better to pay a little more and get the parcels. I have learnt nevervtrust hermes

Your drivers are terrible. Been waiting for my parcel past the "expected delivery" date. Got an email saying I was not in, (which i was) was then told my driver could not find my address, so which one is it? Either they are incompetent at finding an address or they are stealing parcels.

Would give no stars if I could. I have been trying to contact an actual human with absolutely no success. My parcels left at my front door in the open 2m from pavement, might as well have put a sign out to passers-by saying help yourself. I'd asked for them to be left behind my gate in my safe place in the dry but completely ignored. Suppose I should be grateful the courier actually left them at all after reading reviews on here. Not worth having though by the time I got home from work 4 hours later. Absolutely livid with no where to go to complain. Will avoid any company that uses this lot in future.
