“Absolutely shocking they say standard delivery will take between 3-5 days but eveytime I have a party delivered by Hermes it always takes over a week and the tracking updates keep going backwards it always just says on its way how can it be on its way for over a week terrible company.”

“I expected my delivery on saturday,they said due to a breakdown I would receive it on Sunday day ,I then had another email to say it would definitely be here today ,i contacted Asos they looked i to it for me and said Hermes is sorry for the delay but the van broke down, it's a joke”

“Worst company ever, never mind building a new depot, sort your business out first, get your employees to deliver properly instead of just throwing over gates, or not delivering at all.”

“They lie about attempted delivery when they did not even try. Still not received a next day delivery parcel been 2 days now. Customer service by phone is non-existent so you can never talk to anyone apart from a robot at Hermes about any problems. Impossible to report a complaint. Avoid them at all costs. Feel sorry for the companies that use Hermes for the courier service.”

“Appalling service. Forged my signature and said signed for by customer (me) I was at work and no one was home. Parcel not there when I got home and told sorry it says signed by customer. Terrible terrible service”

“Have been waiting over 3 months for a delivery and Hermes have said they have attempted 5 times. I work from home and the doorbell hasn't rung once - very confused and disappointed.”

“Every time a company uses Hermes to deliver there are always problems, I had a next day delivery item for Friday delivery 2 days later it’s not arrived and the tracking just says we received your package, last week I got we attempted delivery you weren’t in (obviously I was) I have another next day item today it’s just gone 9pm and still hasn’t been delivered - I’ve had packages left outside my front door on a busy street (the courier has not even rung the door bell & I here waiting's) Hermes you are awful! I cringe with anticipated disappointment whenever I see that a seller has used Hermes to deliver my order.”

“Delivery guy left my package outside, he couldn't get access to the building and literally left it in the rain to get ruined. Made no attempt to let me know the package was being delivered either. Just rolled up, threw it in the car park and left.”

“Appalling service. Sent an eBay package which never arrived. Tracking hasn’t been updated in over a week in where it just says ‘been delayed’ impossible to speak to a human on the phone - just holly the online chat which is useless as she just tells you the tracking information. There is no way of contacting anyone at my Hermes. Ended up refunding my buyer and just taking a loss. Shocking company to deal with.”

“Parcel not received. Driver claimed it was put through the letterbox, when disputed it changed to left behind green bin, which also isn’t possible unless he climbed the fence and was trespassing. Totally unimpressed. Very very poor.”

“Incredibly terrible service. States 3-5 days but we all know hermes will take over a week. The system is nearly as terrible as the drivers they use. I had a parcel marked as delivered at 22:45, it had been left in a "safe place". I did not agree to this nor state a safe place for them to leave it. After an hour of searching, no parcel was found. The next day a very aggressive driver delivered the already delivered parcel and could not understand my annoyance. I had contacted the seller and hermes. The seller was perfect, Hermes where terrible and could not answer even the simplest of questing. AVOID AT ALL COST. If your business has any respect for its self do not use this service”

“Had a parcel delivered while I was out left in a "safe place" which was a public alleyway a few houses down from me. Came home to find it was obviously missing, called courier who had left his number to be told he'd report it. I've never heard anything back from them.”

“Worst experience I've had with courier service. My parcels were collected last week from incompetent hermes courier. Still waiting , was told it hadn't been collected then told it has, still not received more than a week now. Desperately need these parcels as its for my profession. Please can you help?”

“I was waiting for my parcel to be deliverd, after being told a load of lies about why it had not being deliverd, I found out from the local driver that he went to deliverd it but the parcel was slit open and nothing in it so stolen, I told Hermes customer services who then said no no it's being resent at depot will received it, but after along drawn out conversation they apologised for the confusion and said they would look into it and try to find out who stole it, if they just told me the truth but instead just told me lie after lie. very disappointed in Hermes customer services. local driver great and if it wasn't for him I might of never know the truth.”

“Hermes are damaging businesses. If I know a company are using Hermes for deliveries I do not shop with them. They've claimed to deliver things that I've never received, faked my signature, left my package in a 'safe place' without notifying me. Days later Hermes said the parcel had been left in the garbage bin which had since been emptied. Then there's the parcel that was left in a puddle and destroyed Disgrace. They should be closed down.”
