Ordered something from eBay which was supposed to arrive within 3 days, took two weeks. Gave the seller a hard time but not his fault. Second experience- John Lewis delivery which never arrived despite notifications. Hermes going the same way as City Link

Absolutely shocking customer service. Waited 3 days from booked slot and still my parcel had not been picked up in spite of the 'tracking' recording saying it would be collected each day I tried it. Took over 18 mins for someone to answer the phone on 2 different occasions. Was told I would receive email confirmation - no email received. Have now asked for my money back as I will need to use another courier service. Childrens' birthday gifts in parcel will not be received in time now, leading to disappointment.. Avoid this company at all costs.

Impossible to talk to a real person to complain. Parcel not delivered, although we were in the whole time. DO NOT USE!!

Useless. No attempt was made to deliver the item, then impossible to contact anyone to get this resolved. DO NOT USE!!!

Absolutely useless they provide a tracking number which they then do not recognise, no way to speak to a human being, avoid at all cos

International parcel sending - EPIC FAIL! AVOID! I have received parcels through Hermes here in the UK regularly without any problems. I have now used them to send a parcel to Europe. NEVER AGAIN! This is how it went: 06/11/2020 - Collection booked - delivery promised to be before 16/11/2020 20/11/2020 at 00:50h 'Received at International Hub' 20/11/2020 at 06:27h 'Out for delivery' 20/11/2020 at 16:54h 'Delivered with Signature' However the parcel has never arrived, no card has been left and no sign of the parcel with any neighbours... 24/11/2020 at 12:30h 'Return - Processed By Hub' How can my parcel get returned if it was 'Delivered with Signature'?!?!?! I've contacted the customer support through their chat and they were apologetic but can't do anything to get it re-delivered. It will be back with me in 6-8 weeks. >> 6-8 WEEKS????

Absolutely horrible experience. 7 days later I still don't have my parcel. Customer support is non-existent, you are lucky if they respond to you after leaving a negative TrustPilot review. Chat bots redirecting you in circles. Not sure I will ever see the parcel. Avoid!

Got a message at 2.15pm from Ebay that my parcel had been delivered at 1.45pm yet id been in all day waiting so i knew it hadnt. I checked with my neighbours on my floor then the floor below, i managed to speak to 8 out of 22 flats so i wrote a notice & attached it to the Notice board at the main enterance. I then tried to contact Hermes through their Tracking page. I gave up after 3x as the computer voice kept saying my Tracking no & Postcode didnt match please give a different Postcode which is totally rediculous, your Postcode doesnt change. I also message the sender to check they had sent with my correct Postcode, when they replied almost an hour later they had. I was starting to get frustrated as i couldnt find any other way to contact them so i did a Google search how to phone Ebay. Luckily around 3.45pm a neighbour from 2 floors down knocked saying she was waiting for a Parcel sent through Hermes between 4-6pm, would she like me to send up the delivery guy or did i want to pop down & wait. I went down & at 4.10pm her delivery arrived. He checked & had my parcel still on his van. Dont always get their times correct & i checked my Postcode was as i had said so that is also unhelpful & once u have difficulty there basically No other means of contact.

OMG I don’t even no where to start please avoid ordering from anyone who uses Hermes as delivery so I ordered my parcel for next day delivery I received a email saying my parcel has been delayed and will be with me in 24hrs the next day I received a message saying It will be delivered between 1pm-3pm but nothing then I got a mail saying the driver couldn’t locate my address which is a lie in the end I went into my local Hermes office Peterborough where I spoke to a staff member who wasn’t interested in what I had to say instead just said that the drivers keep the parcels over night and try to deliver 3 times and that I should just leave . He rudely said you can’t collect your parcel and walked away laughing I then asked to speak to a member of management to help me out to be honest he was lOvely and did help me he found my parcel and gave it to me. He apologised for his staff. Avoid the hassle guys. I’ve heard stories about Hermes drivers stealing parcels I work in a company We stopped using Hermes, I felt I had to physically wrestle for my parcel.

the parcel was dropped in the shop and never moved from there. after 2 weeks I open the case and they took 4 weeks to tell me that it was lost. end of story! terrible service....zero responsibility for losing my parcel

There are a number of companies which are using the pandemic as an excuse for their own ineptitude but none so often or as shamelessly as Hermes. They repeatedly leave packages in the communal (and publicly accessible) area of the block of flats where I reside, rather than dropping packages outside the door of the flat where delivery is due to be made. On this occasion, I went down to speak to the driver when he returned to his van and queried why he did not deliver the package to the actual delivery door only to be met by a shrug, follows by "pandemic eh". I actively avoid ordering from retailers that use Hermes but unfortunately this one slipped through the net.

Poor customer service, and worse is the waiting time, no you are number, just annoying music broken with you are in a queue. I knew that.

Within 2-3 weeks I already had 2 parcels stolen. The location is close enough, and the picture is somewhere in the car probably with other parcels - which in fact should be in front of the door, or somewhere to be obvious they tried to deliver. I've been both times at home, and I've got a very sensitive dog that can hear any movement. There was no intention of delivery. I won't get into details for the other 2 experiences, but out of 4 deliveries, 0 have been successful.

Parcel was meant to be delivered 23/11/20 and we were informed that day that it was to be delivered between 3pm & 7pm, had an e-mail saying they tried to deliver a parcel but NO ONE was in (this is a lie as we have been here all day) Why send out lies by e-mail and no one answers the phone when we ring. Will not use any firm that uses hermes for deliveries.

Rubbish for business use, when they deliver up to 9pm. Just had email to say parcel left with neighbour, but does not say what neighbour!!!!

Ive been waiting for my parcels for days , everyday im given a time slot and everyday im told driver could not locate the address, automated phone is a load of rubbish doesn't solve the problem and they dont respond to chats . High street shops should stop using this company its the worst .

Ordered something for next day delivery. Next day they said I missed my parcel when I was at home and waiting for them to knock on the door was unaware that I had to literally sit outside my hus for them to deliver. After 2 days they said they left my parcel outside my door and clicked a picture only if my door and no parcel. (Not sure who they are trying to fool). My sis was in the leaving room waiting for the parcel which never arrived. Contacted the company which hired them and asked whether I could pick my items in the delivery store instead. Worst services from a delivery agent. Clicking a zoomed pik without the product at the door.
