H0067A0019344035 Item made it to local depo but then gets lost massive well packed helmet size box can get lost at a local depo I think we all know why. Shame police can’t get involved to check items not being stolen as the reviews are shocking and clearly they have a massive issue

I sent a package 24 hours, paid extra cover as my item was worth £145, it arrived 48 hours later and the driver delivered it in the window, when he went to check the window later the parcel was stolen from the window, Hermes are refusing to refund me and keep passing the buck on, avoid at all costs

Worst delivery company in the UK. Never had a hassle free delivery from them. Found out to my cost they deliver for Aldi. I immediately emailed Aldi after my order was made and they said my parcel would be delivered by them. I told them that had I known they used Hermes, I would not have made a purchase. I told them there would be problems with the delivery if indeed made at all and low and behold I was right. I am now putting pressure on Aldi for a full refund together with compensation for the hassle. Waste of time even attempting to complain to Hermes. Amazed they are still in business. Can only be because they are the cheapest option for retailers but you know what happens when you pay peanuts! Aldi have lost a customer and I'm sure I will not be the only one to avoid buying from them now I know they use Hermes. I should have immediately cancelled my order after being advised to expect my delivery from Hermes. It would have been a lot less hassle. I will not make that same mistake with any retailer again. My fight with Aldi for compensation will now commence.

Horrendous customer service. Two of my parcel was lost, each of the time it was agony to reach to their customer phone number, sorting my claim and getting my refund. The first claim took 4 months to get my refund finally with endless phone calls. I am still working on my second claim, it was already more than a month now. I will never use Hermes again as the hassle and stress they cause me is enormous.

This is the last time I use Hermes. My parcel has been with my local depot for 10 days, no reasons for delay. Can't talk to a human. Made numerous contact with the robot & made phone calls, again with the robot, but they are absolutely useless & can't resolve anything. You can't complain, again only via robot. You are so unprofessional, what customer care do you provide? NONE. The parcel was delivered today. The seller has also now stopped using them due to this & other items dispatched same day having a long delay. Get your act together & provide a professional service, which you claim to do & employ humans to deal with customer enquiries & complaints.

Absolutely the worse company that has ever existed. The second time when I ordered something online and they have chosen Hermes to deliver it. My package never arrived, however, the delivery is ticked as delivered to my address. I was in all day. The customer service doesn't exist, you talking to the Robot on the online chat, tried to call, impossible coz the parcel shows that has been delivered. Just wow. Avoid if you can.

Wish you could give no stars. They collected the item 6 days ago but tracking states still to arrive at Hermes depot. The website chat is automated so cannot respond other than standard replies. To call them to enquiry why they have messed up they expect you to pay 7p a minutes. Disgusting organisation.

Placed order on 10th with Amazon using a supplier who claimed to deliver via Royal Mail. Confirmation said Hermes. Still waiting for delivery 9days later package supposedly still in their depot. Appalling service from Hermes as usual. I avoid them whenever possible but was caught out this time. Never again will I use Hermes

This company is awful and should be avoided at all costs. Use a proper delivery company. I sent a parcel with this "delivery company" in june. The company over 3 months have told me it has be n picked up, then it has been delayed (for two months!) Then it had been delivered, then it had not been delivered and was still delayed and now it appears it has been lost. There online chat makes it impossible to get in touch with them, their phone line is automated and does not recognise what you are saying so asks you to input your delivery number in your phone keypad (this starts with a letter making it impossible to do). Their head office number is no longer in use. I finally found an email address to contact their office, a week later I was asked to fill in a form for compensation which I did, only to be told my item was not eligible for compensation or the price of my parcel back. This to me sounds a lot like theft. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

They are an appalling delivery company who will lie about attempting delivery. "Proof of delivery attempt" photo is not of my front door but the inside of someone's pocket - twice! The "verified GPS location" on a map is not where my house is but some random road in the middle of nowhere - see attached photo for the information provided by Hermes to "prove" they attempted a delivery to my house. There is no option to choose another delivery day when you can be at home, it is entirely at their convenience and is your fault if you are at work. Instructions (from the sender) to leave the parcel in a safe place are just ignored. There is no option to collect the parcel from a local depot or parcel shop despite Hermes having a network of parcel shops for sending parcels. There is no means of contacting Hermes - their website just has a link to a ChatBot who asks for the tracking number and postcode and then says "failed delivery, click here to continue" and that is the end of the chat. I will now not order from any online retailer that I discover use Hermes as a delivery company as 90% of their attempted deliveries are failures. This is therefore harming their own clients but clearly they just don't care, either about their clients or their customers. Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish on every level.

Items STOLEN On delivery today, when Hermes delivered my Charlotte Tilbury parcel although it was a large box it felt suspiciously light. It was also sellotaped around the edge (which I have never seen before as CT parcels are always sealed) It had been tampered with. On opening there were 2 large and pricey missing makeup items and just an eyeliner and samples remaining. Thanks Hermes. Not only do you fail on every aspect of customer service (you have also lost 2 of my sent parcels, failed to pick up a parcel that I had paid for home collection (had to begin process again from local store and payed twice for the privilege) …but now you steal from me. And you do not take responsibility!!! Trying to actually speak to you is a joke and I’m not going to put myself through the stress! As an MUA, I have many received regular CT delivery’s in the past with no problem but when I was told Hermes were delivering my parcel, my heart sank. Disappointed and frustrated yet again.

Once again a supplier chooses (?) to use Hermes. Once again I wait in all day; the delivery window comes and goes, and I can not get anyone at Hermes to tell me that if a window is missed, do I have to wait in for the rest of the day. That was yesterday. They have just missed today's delivery window, and I sit here frustrated and angry. I raised the issue and complained online. They are still to get back to me to advise if I shave to stay in the rest of the day. Today I try the two numbers (only one works) and then I still do not get to speak to a human being. just a computer that eventually tells me that my parcel will (future tense) be delivered two hours ago. I have only ever posted on complaint sites about one company. HERMES!

Fed up with Hermes. The courier (same one every time) does deliver the parcels, but just drops or throws them on the floor outside the door, plus more often than not, the parcels look like they've been kicked or stamped on. Two broken items this week alone. Impossible to report to Hermes (I've sent messages via their unhelpful bot though) and saying anything to the driver will only incur further damage. If I've been unlucky enough to accidentally buy from someone who uses Hermes (I never knowingly do) I make sure to let them know just how much their custom was appreciated with photos of the damage etc.

Had to return a parcel that was delivered by Hermes. Was told to take it to a local shop where it would be picked up and returned to the seller. I did all that, was given a tracking number only to be told that the seller has not received the parcel and the tracking number doesn't match the address. So.... no product.... no refund. Bloody rip off merchants.

Hermes have damaged or lost at least 8 packages sent to customers of mine. I will not be using them from now on because they have cost me over £200 in lost profits, due to losing or having parcel stolen by there personal. Will see about using Royal mail from now on.

First of all, Hermes makes it very difficult for anyone to get in touch. Also, if you manage to get in touch with them via email, they don't even address your problem properly. The assistant will only reply with their general template that basically says "We are not accountable for anything". Avoid at all cost and do NOT do any business with this company.

Return all our parcels to sender as driver chooses not to drive on the road to our house as he previously damaged his car.
