My Hermes has to be one of the worst delivery company I’ve had to deal with especially in the Croydon area the Currier is rude and professional with my parcel the customer service is terrible trying to get hold of someone it’s impossible feels like I’m going round in circles they don’t respect the customer actually feel like I’m getting a migraineJust dealing with this company and I hate the fact that a lot of companies/ retailers work with my Hermes I just feel dread when I realise my order is connected to my Hermes I prefer a Royalmail or any other company But just not my Hermes because I know that I’m going to have to deal with a whole headache with having drama attached to receiving my parcel

Parcel marked on website as delivered, which was true but not to the wrong address. Luckily one of our neighbours Brought it round as it had been included in their delivery. It was also difficult to highlight on their website that this happened. I am assuming it was a genuine mistake but unless people are aware they can’t fix it

This company lost for me 2 packets. I am waiting for delivery this week, getting updates in the app from Tuesday about diffrent delivery slots.... No one even turns up when I wait...no one to talk to about it, if something is lost it is just lost. If i see delivery is by Hermes I quit bying it. The packet was supose to be deliverd 3rd time this week, today until 9pm and it is already 9.30 and no one turned same as other times.i used my 3 delivery chances.

Substandard Unprofessional Courrier service I know Hermes has got some excellent reviews on this site . But some areas like mine are not fortunate enough to get that service . In last 2 weeks I had 4 parcels missing , and when you call Hermes phone number minimum 45 mins wait time to speak to someone and no answers regarding my parcels . Driver in SL2 postcode one of the worst drive , uses foul language, ill mannered , rude and unprofessional. Did use foul language toward my family . When complained about this to Hermes customer service I never got any reply . As if Hemes management is list bothered about things that are happening to their customers . So I won’t recommend My Hermes Courrier to any one living in SL2 postcode .

Ordered item 23rd Nov, a Christmas present for my daughter, cost £120. Planned 3-5 days delivery. Hermes tracking confirmed it arrived at their depot 24th Nov. On 1st Dec tracking said, 'unable to deliver, contact the sender.' I've done this a few times now and they confirmed it's definitely been delivered to Hermes. Countless efforts to speak to hermes have come to nothing. Unable to speak to a human being. So 16 days later I've no idea what is going on?! Absolutely appalling way to treat customers! I've no idea what's happening. So frustrating. How are they able to get away with it? 10th Dec update: Now 17 days.. Nothing has changed!

I have been sending and receiving parcels by Hermes for years with previously only one major problem. But Hermes is showing itself unable to cope with the volume of parcels resulting from COVID and the increase in online shopping. I have had seven experiences of parcels disappearing or being delayed since mid-October. What makes it worse is it is impossible to speak to a real person at Hermes if the parcel has been sent by a retailer and if you get a message to a real person via 'Holly' the email responses are composed of standard paragraphs. I am now filled with foreboding when I see a retailer has sent a parcel by Hermes and parcels I would have sent by Hermes now go by Royal Mail at extra cost. I have noticed some eBay sellers are making a point of stating that they don't use Hermes. My worst experience was with a parcel from Amazon which had stalled at the Plymouth depot. The second email response to my query via 'Holly' told me that the parcel was deemed lost. When I phoned Hermes I was blocked from speaking to a real person and told to contact Amazon. That I did and Amazon re-sent the items (not by Hermes!). But then the "lost" parcel was delivered nine days late with the box squashed as if it had been stored at the bottom of a large pile of other delayed parcels. The one positive was that Amazon had sent me an email telling me I could keep the items if the parcel eventually arrived. One of the lost parcels contained an item I had bought from a charity shop in Sheffield. The parcel was collected but neither the label nor the receipt card bar codes were scanned by the driver and the receipt card wasn't signed. The parcel never entered Hermes' system and disappeared. I got a refund but I suspect the charity shop will struggle to get compensation with no proof the parcel was collected.

Received a damaged parcel today. The courier asked me to open it to check if everything was OK and if I am not happy, she would take take it with her to return but when opened it and found a bottle without a cap which leaked to damage the parcel, the courier refused to take it back. It was the second incident from the same courier!! I have provided a recording to Hermes of the whole incident. The next step would be to involve Trading Standards. Very disappointed with the courier and Hermes.

Absolutely appalling company. Received an email today saying my parcel has been left in my porch, I DON’T HAVE A PORCH. Attached was a picture of a delivery card in someone’s hand outside my front door. No sign of a parcel just a picture of a delivery card. Getting anywhere with their online team is an absolute waste of time. I can’t tell you how many times I said I don’t have a porch. So until I get home I will not know where it’s been left or that has it even been left reading these other reviews I don’t hold much hope.

I am having a nightmare trying to sort out a delivery for something I desperately need for my work, I've told them twice I'm not in at that time can you send it to a drop off point or maybe have the courier arrive earlier when I'm actually in, no option, emails ignored, phone manned by a bot. Retailers STOP USING THEM PLEASE!

Absolutely bad attitude/service. This is the second parcel they have 'lost ' in as many months. The first was an expensive garden multitool which just never arrived and second was reported as 'damaged beyond repair' but I never even received the bits! It is clear that things 'go missing' ALL THE TIME from this company -never to be seen again!!! Don't use EVER!

Horrible service. You wait for them to come, but they never knock and later you see they left your parcel in your bin in front of your house. Or they leave the parcel just in front of your window. They don't think. I tried to contact hermes by email-nothing.So shitty company ever. I think one day I won't find my parcel if they working like that.

This company is an absolute joke!! And I hate when renowned companies like Amazon and ASOS use their horrible services!!! I never have a good experience with them, they have kept my Amazon parcel on hold for days, I tried to get in touch through a stupid automated chat and receive no reply! it is literally a joke of a company, not sure how they are still operating and why companies are using them!! Every time I see Hermes as a delivery courier I know something is going to go wrong with my parcel...its not worth all the stress!!

Updates on their tracking system are the opposite of accurate. Still waiting or a parcel which they say it's been delivered (when the building at the address was closed with no one to take deliveries). The proof of delivery is a black photo showing nothing (!) The parcel is still missing.

If you value your mental health and bllod pressure levels or are prone to anxiety then FGS don't entertain HERMES or any vendor that uses HERMES....CANCEL YOUR ORDER AND SHOP AT A COMPETITOR, THE SELLER KNOW VERY WELL THAT HERMES ARE A PILE BUT CONTINUE TO USE THEM....IT'S YOUR MONEY SO CHOOSE WISELY.
