“I used Hermes through packalink ebay paid extra for enchanced insurance for loss or damage at the sale price of £280 .it was not delivered and 30 days later it was returned damaged. Hermes website phone chat are all automated no help or claim form for damaged parcels. Hermes in misselling insurance because it doesn't exist”

“Was trying to return a parcel to a company. It was worth around £250. Hermes collected fine, then next day tracking changed to “action needed contact sender”. This is not very useful as I am the sender! Since then have been trapped in a loop of absolutely useless online chat which is just a bot that offers no help whatsoever, an incident raised that had been ignored, and a number that I have yet to get through to a person ok (because it won’t accept my tracking number, even though it works on the Hermes website. If I say I don’t have a tracking number it just says then it can’t help and cuts you off!) Genuinely at a loss now of where to go. The items were actually Xmas presents that were being exchanged for a different item so I’m really really angry at this. Literally the very worst delivery company. This isn’t the first issue - a month or so ago they allegedly delivered our coffee pods from nespresso but They didn’t. Raised an incident through Hermes - again no response. We actually have CCTV and I checked it for the time (and the hour before and after) they said they delivered it and they never turned up! Absolute liars.”

“AVOID IF POSSIBLE BUT WHAT DO YOU DO IF YOU ORDER THROUGH DEBENHAMS BUT THEY DONT ADVERTISE THEY ARE USING HERMES?! Sorry Debenhams but you really need to change your delivery company! Hermes said they “attempted delivery” at 7.30AM! Of course they didn’t though! We were here and up! NO CALLING CARD LEFT (surprise surprise) so cant track it but want me to pay AGAIN for re-delivery! NO THANKS I WOULD RATHER HAVE THEM RETURN MY PARCEL ON PRINCIPLE!”

“AVOID AT ALL COST! I sent 3 parcel for the first time with Hermes, the first one the buyer claimed the parcel was delivered empty. I notified Hermes Straight away and I was told to open a case for undelivered item, I requested for Proof and photographic evidence of my parcel being delivered, I reported the incident to action fraud, on my second phone call to Hermes the Agent called Adrian told me that on this occasion the driver did not take a photo of the parcel but that same driver delivered a parcel couple of weeks prior to the same address and he has taken photo evidence, I emailed again and made more phone calls the only response I got was that someone will contact me in 28 days. I continued calling still no response. After a month I received an email saying that the parcel has been delivered. I requested photographic evidence of the delivery which they couldn’t provide and decided to close my case within 24 hours!!!! On Hermes website clearly states “ when you answer, the courier will take photo of the parcel in the open doorway as a proof” To me this is a misleading and mis-selling to the customers as clearly they do not take such evidence! how disgraceful!!!! They took my money and my item!!! The second parcel Which they couldn’t deliver I requested three times over three weeks to be sent back to me....I’m still waiting for the parcel. No one appears to know where my parcel is. Extremely disappointing and very appalling customer service you cannot speak to a real person. IF YOU REALLY VALUE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR ITEMS DO NOT USE HERMES. Please check on Hermes side “Complaints Department” and you will be Disgusted with the amount of complaints that Hermes doesn’t even bother to reply.”

“Terrible company. Do not use to send a parcel. Still waiting for Hermes to pick up a parcel I paid to be collected 3 days ago. Call them 3 times regard this and I am not getting anywhere. I have had to sit in awaiting collection for 3 days. Terrible service. I will not be using them again.”

“I have had really bad experience with my order not being sent after 1 month of trying to get hold of someone. The automated customer service is so poor. I was refunded the cost of delivery but my item has been lost. It was for a special occasion.... The service is so poor. I am still trying to allocate the item after a month?”

“Ordered delivery for Saturday, delivery was instead attempted and missed the Wednesday after. I was charged for redelivery, even though it obviously wouldn't have had to be redelivered if it had gone on the Saturday, as requested. I was then not given an option to choose a day or time for redelivery, even though I was paying, and I was given the next day. Thankfully that worked, or I might have had to pay for redelivery multiple times.”

“Vile company, their systems ensure you #cantcomplain. Insurance for losses is fake. Lost a parcel for 6 weeks, then just return the £3 postage and ignore the £20 loss. I will never use them again, rather pay double for DPD and get reasonable service.”

“Wrote a very positive review on my experiences with Hermes and our regular delivery man but TRUSTPILOT sent me an email saying I had been flagged up as not genuine! Shame for Hermes, their positive reviews are being blocked as not genuine!”

“They have lost two of my parcels I was returning. My tracking numbers originally worked and showed progress but now it says they don't even exist! Also there is no way to talk to anyone at MyHermes. The online chat is automated and only works if you have a working tracking number and the phone number is the same which is incredibly frustrating. They have effectively stolen £133 from me!”

“Got an email three days in a row saying could not deliver parcel. Its a business premises so someone will always be available to receive a parcel. Tried to contact via website and phone but het stuck in an automated system, with no option to talk to a real person. Useless. I cannot recommend Hermes.”

“Hermes Lost my parcel & £90..... Sold Good for £90 eBay made Hermes to collection at my house in wembley ( have video footage ) give me a receipt next thing you know he's coming to my door again the next day to pick up the same parcel tried to check the tracking number the status they still trying to pick up the parcel till today when the item was picked up 2 weeks ago ....this is a strong warning if you are an independent seller if you lose your package or parcel there is no way of getting in contact with the company only from resolver.co.uk but getting a reply is like one reply a week and customer service usually tries to avoid what you actually trying to say they don't wanna know you ......avoid this company at all cost !!!!”

“The worst courier company in the UK !!! Screenshots that are not real are being sent. The courier was supposed to be at the place of delivery, which is not true, I checked the cctv and it was not at there! The best is that I got an e-mail that the package was delivered at midnight! I do not recommend and avoid this company!”

“Their reputation as the worst delivery service in the UK is well deserved. A shambles. Once they take your money, they just don't care after that point. Customer service basically doesnt exist. They pretend it does but you soon discover its an illusion. Never again.”

“Haven't delivered my parcel, been waiting 5 days after it's due, got told they couldn't deliver to my property even though I've had them deliver stuff to me before, then Hermes told me my parcel had been delivered when it hadn't and keep on giving me different delivery times to what the app is telling me, the delivery driver doesn't even attempt to deliver but says I'm not in, feel free to respond Hermes unless your too busy scamming people”

“Hermes hire thieves! Do not use Hermes ( Especially if you live in Bath!) The delivery driver has stolen my parcel. I was in my kitchen waiting for my parcel to arrive, and was notified that they had tried to deliver it but I was not home. This is completely false because the van didn't even drive past and no one approached my door. Upon talking to my neighbours and others in the estate, I have found out that the delivery driver also lives in my estate (Foxhill) and is known for stealing people's parcels. It has happened to many others too! Customer service is non - existant. You can only speak to a robot AND it charged me £6 for this 'luxury.' It is not acceptable that this has happened and also not acceptable that they haven't done anything about this driver! I will be taking this further.”

“Ordered a lipstick from Superdrug........told three times that they've tried to deliver and I was out...... lies. I've actually sat and looked at my open gate this morning for three hours and no one has been here despite saying I was out. Would never use this company.”
