Rarely on time. Some coach drivers are so rude and drive dangerously fast. WiFi never works. Only good thing is the cheap fares but you have to book early.

Always a terrible sercice, never on time, horrible drivers. I had to take an UBER otherwise I would miss the plain - Ā£78, who is paying me this back. Very unprofessional, and total disregard to its customers. Always extremely stressful using their "service"

I bought a ticket on National Express website. There were 2 options - standard ticket for 10 pounds and "fully flexible" for 12. It was written that it was changeable AND refundable. I actually DID read the information about the fare - there was written again that it was totally refundable and no extra fees were mentioned. Then I found the same ticket for 5 pounds on the other website so I decided to refund this one. BUT! It turned out that there would be 5 pounds fee for that! And I can't do it online. Just by phone. I'm not a native speaker, talking to people by phone is pretty stressful and difficult for me. And anyway it won't be cheaper now. Online "help" is not helpful at all, they just quote the sentences from terms and conditions and don't respond to any further messages. I'll never use there service again.

5pm from london to halifax our driver jason was excellent went above n beyond ensuring passengers were comfortable due to broken air con even pulling up to alter roof window openings were right during rain shower please thank him on our behalf xx

I would like to say that after an error occurred with our ticket being printed with incorrect travel time on Saturday 6th July to Wembley stadium. The staff at Chorlton St coach station were very professional and prompt in issuing us with train tickets to get us to our event. Many Thanks to the lady on the desk and also the security man who were both very helpful.

Using the service almost every day for 7 months. 70% of the time buses are late. There were occasions where the bus didnt come at all and i wasted 40 mins waiting due to lies that it is being delayed. As i am writting the review another bus is being indefinitely delayed, great.

The bus didnā€™t even stop at the bus stop that was provided for us in the email. Waited an entire hour until I had to run next to the bus in 90 degree weather to another bus stop to get picked up. I received no updates where to bus was or if it was delayed. Absolutely terrible, would not recommend or take again.

On a national express that left for London from Leeds at 3pm, arrived to the driver swap at 4.10 and now its 5.22pm and we have been told that we canā€™t move because of the headlights.. shouldnā€™t this have been checked before embarking from the original stop? So now we are an hour and a half behind schedule. Canā€™t use the charger bits as those sockets donā€™t work.. typical. Cheap tickets even cheaper service and I can guarantee we wonā€™t see any money back from this inconvenience

Constantly late from 10-60mins you will be lucky if its on time. They advertise wifi but its so bad its nasically unusable they also advertise sockets to charge appliances but they almost never work. Due to uk laws they have no obligation to refund being extremely late. Thank god for laws like that! Oh but dont worry the "sorry for being late" was enough.

Gloucester to London 11.00am 13/6/2019 AND returned 18/6/2019. First and NOT the last trip with National Express.Absolutely fantastic! Incredible drivers throughout both journeys. David (don't know surname ) was so professional in his handling of the passengers and so cheerful as he happily collected luggage and deposited in the hold. Quite a few reviews are of a negative nature and all I can say is have they looked @ the cost of the alternative i.e.the train!!!.National Express......YOU ARE DOING A GREAT JOB!!!! John & Hazel

A very unprofessional approach from the staff. Made us move from our seat saying it was reserved and made us seat separate for a 5 hours journey from Manchester coach station to London. I would suggest to advise your staff to be approachable and helpful rather careless and arrogant. And if the seats are reserved to keep a mark for reserved seats before the passengers arrive.. I would rather prefer giving no stars and never travel with national Express for such humiliation infornt of a bus full of passengers.

dont bother miss stops totally expect you to ring premium no to try and sort then try to get you to buy tickets even though you have valid tickets customer services are rude to the point off putting phone down on you i did manage to get a partial refund by personally contacting md then i found they were taking money out of my bank which finally my bank refunded never again i would rather walk up m1

Travelled on the 4.05 from Leicester to Gatwick on the 13th June 2019. Excellent Service from Sean? The driver to Milton Keynes at that hour of the morning very cheerful and pleasant, good assist to the company.. The driver who took over dealt with an incident on the coach in very professional and caring manner. Wonderful drivers. Thanks National Express

Phoned National Express as they charged me twice, expensive call and not very helpful. In the end the call dropped! Not queuing from another 8 minutes at Ā£3.60 a minute for a ticket worth Ā£10. You need to improve National Express! Why are you charging me for a service that you should be providing!

Joined the queue today for my bus from Luton Airport to London Paddington. I was told by the guy who checked the tickets that it's only a 5 minutes wait. However, we waited 45 minutes for that coach, when the other queue for London Victoria already had 3 buses come to pick people up! Then the air conditioning was freezing cold. I was wearing a hoodie, jeans and a trench coat and I was still freezing! This is not the first time this happened. To be fair, I never had to wait 45 minutes for their buses but they were regularly late for about 5-20 minutes but the time before I took this service to London I had waited for an hour. An absolute joke. I'm so sorry for all the people who miss their flights because of this unapologetic disorganised service.

The coach was freezing cold, on a warm day. Several people complained but the driver did not care. On my trip today both drivers seemed entitled and uncaring.

I am writting this review on the board and I donā€™t know what to start with. First of all, everytime I am on the board the air con is freezing cold. I have asked the driver to turn it off and put the heating on twice now and I canā€™t feel the difference. This is awful for the price you pay. Secondly, NE buses have a tendency to be late. I am not talking about 5min delay, but 45mins. I have had experienced that twice now. There is absolotely no solution to journeys with changes being late. I have missed my bus from London Victoria to Brighton just because the bus got stuck in the traffic and had to waste 2 hours waiting for another bus. Is it so difficult for the operators to inform the drivers of the delays so that they can wait for the passengers who are late being on other NE buses especially if the change is a part of the journey? All in all, I am deeply disappointed with the service received for the price.

Worst service ever! Its really expensive, the trips are really long and are often delayed. I was on a trip to Manchester, and driver went through countryside road without asphalt and full of holes: I was very sicka dn we arrived late anyway. DonĀ“t use National Express!!

On our way to Stansted we stopped at Trumpington park and ride where our driver got off the bus and left us sitting there for thirty minutes until a new driver came on board 30 minutes late. Needless to say we were late for our flight.
