Went to Riccarton Noel Leeming to get my phone repaired because I had product warranty. When I bought the phone they told me that the excess fee was $100 then when I go there they are telling me the excess fee is $200. Anyways gave them my phone on Thursday then they told me the fastest I would get it by would back was the next day and the latest would be Monday. It's currently been a week still no phone.

Subject: Poor Customer Service and Misleading Sales Information Dear Noel Leeming Customer Service Team, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the customer service I received from your team. On [22/02/2025], I purchased a phone from your store, primarily due to the $300 cashback offer on my Gem Visa card account. However, the sales representative failed to explain the terms and conditions of the offer clearly. When I contacted your customer service team to inquire about the cashback, I was met with an unhelpful and impolite response from a representative with an Indian accent. Also it was a lady( did not said the name correctly )date of call 24/02/2025 @ call time 1618 hrs The representative claimed that the information was available on the website, implying that I was responsible for not reading the fine print. I feel misled and deceived by the sales representative's initial statement. I request that you investigate this matter and take necessary steps to ensure that your sales lady provides accurate and transparent information to customers. I also expect a more satisfactory response from your customer service team. Order details: - Date of purchase: 22/02/2025 - Product: I phone 16 pro max - Store location: Northlink papanui

Have spent whole week trying to speak to a person. Automated phone responses are a waste of time. Emails not answered either, except by the equivalent to an automated phone response. Have enjoyed great service over the years not so now. They take your money then don't want to know you. No more will I shop there after I get this current product which is under warranty sorted. No wonder stores are closing or not doimuch trade. Deliver what you promise and educate your staff. Sort out your communication abilities.

Bought new first time top load Samsung wash machine from Noel Leeming, September 2024. Had 2 incidents with hairclips getting through to jam water pump. Maintenance/warranty repair guy took 2 weeks to unblock. I have 4 females that use clips, so wondering why there is no filter for foreign matter entering system. Coins also mistakenly left in pockets. Our original side loader had access point to pump for easy maintenance. Bob

I would give zero stars if I could. I bought a $3000 laptop even paid extra for a 3yr warranty, which I'm glad I did. Anyway, within a year I had to take it in for repairs, second time of repair, it has been a whole month and still no laptop, can't get refund unless it breaks down a 3rd time which I don't understand. Why is it a person spends thousands of dollars on a product and has warranty, but you cannot not get a refund unless it happens 3 times? Ridiculous! Alot of money spent!!!! We want our laptop fixed or a new one or refund!!!!!!!! Will not shop at Noel leeming again!!! Terrible!!!!

Bought a coffee machine. Had a problem. Been away 3 times now. It's been 7 weeks and 5 trips into the store. Was damaged twice while being repaired. Manager is rude and has extremely poor customer service. Apparently he's very busy with meetings etc. Don't bother trying to phone. Waste of time. Have shopped at Noel Leeming in Dunedin for years, never again. Strongly advise people to shop elsewhere. If I ever get my machine back it will be the last time I set foot in the store.

I am extremely disappointed with Noel Leeming's inflexible policy on gift certificates. Recently, I tried to use a gift certificate that had expired, unbeknown to me. The lack of a date of purchase on the voucher was an oversight on the seller's part - if I had known the purchase date, I would have noted the expiry date and used the card before that date. The gift certificate was for a significant amount, and I was looking forward to using it to buy a heater. Unfortunately, Noel Leeming refused to budge, citing their strict policy on expired gift vouchers, even though the money was already paid to the company and the PIN number had not been exposed. In contrast, Poppy's book shop and Harvey Norman have accepted expired gift certificates from me before because the PIN numbers were undisturbed on their gift cards, demonstrating a more customer-centric approach. I don’t think it is unreasonable to expect retailers to have a more flexible approach to handling gift certificates when the money has already been paid to the company and the PIN numbers are undisturbed as this clearly indicates they haven't been used. Noel Leeming's rigid stance has lost them a customer - I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Noel Leeming Timaru last 3 times I've been there no help from staff. This time I had 2 of them looking at me and acknowledged for help but nothing. No longer shopping here even though they are cheaper than Harvey Norman, Harvey's will match there price and with wonderful help too.

If there was a zero, I'd put that as an option for Noel Leeming Botany customer service. Less than pleasant has been my experience to date. Every time I decide to go click and collect, I'm reminded once again why I don't shop there if possible.

If you gave a special on as advertised, it is a GOOD IDEA to have the STOCK in the store. 2 people wanting 2 different items on a MONDAY and there is no STOCK in the store. 3 days to have it couried to you.

Went to store to support my local Waipapa Noel Leeming . After consultation we decided on a Samsung washing machine . Asked the sale person for the usual local school staff discount . Told no sorry as product is already on at a really good sale price . That’s cool . Week later pick up product only to find it is now $240 dollars cheaper . When I asked the sales staff what’s with the huge sale price . I thought it was already sale priced ? Enter the corporate mumbo jumbo . Blah blah blah . No this is a Super Sale ??? Really disappointed in Waipapa Noel Leeming . Just another big corporate. They didn’t used to behave like this . I shall remember in future that our years long loyalty to this business was one sided . In future I’ll look elsewhere . Good bye Noel Leeming .

I am very disappointed in the service I received from this company. I am a student who is in desperate need of a laptop and bought one from Noel Leeming in advance being told I could come and pick it up the following week as they were getting lots in. The next week I had not heard anything so I went back and asked how long it would take and all the staff were very confused and did not know what they were doing. They said to come back in a week and I happily agreed to this. After another week and a half with no confirmation message, I went back and a different person went online and checked to see where the laptop I had paid was but found that it was not going to be coming in for several months. They offered me a much more expensive laptop instead which I denied because I could not afford it. So, I got my refund and moved on because they couldn give me a proper time for when I could get my laptop.

I took a 27" Samsung monitor which I bought last year in to Noel Leeming last week to be repaired / replaced under the manufacturers warranty (2 years remaining) or the CGA. They emailed me to say that they spoke to Samsung and Samsung said they refuse to cover it. They asked me if I wanted them to send it away to be assessed ($90) and quoted on for repair. I responded that I didn't want that and I would instead take it up with Samsung directly. I called today to ask what hours they would be open so I could collect my monitor (I don't live in Rotorua). They said that my monitor wasn't there so I couldn't collect it and hung up on me. I called back and asked them to check because my monitor was not sent anywhere so it should be there. They then told me I was correct, it hadn't been sent anywhere and I could collect it from the store. A few minutes later they rang back and said that I couldn't take my monitor until I'd paid $90 for the Auckland Repair Centre to assess my monitor. I told them that it hadn't been sent to Auckland and had only sat at their store and that I'd declined the assessment via email. After much deliberation they eventually said that the manager will waive the fee just this once and acted like I was asking for some huge favour when there was no fee due in the first place. I wonder how many people are being blindsided into paying this fee which they don't actually owe? The people on the phone from the Rotorua store were rude and obnoxious and very unprofessional. Incidentally, Samsung have agreed the damage should be covered - the Noel Leeming Store had not relayed to them what had happened. This was contained in the paperwork I completed. Not exactly what I would call acceptable service.

I have been a loyal and frequent shopper at Noel Leeming, Albany, for many years. However, today, I was very disappointed with the service or lack of service that I experienced. I bought a dishwasher last Saturday, with a delivery date of one week later. Today, I waited for the item to be delivered. Eventually, I called the store late in the morning to inquire what time they expected it to be delivered, only to be told they didn't have any in stock and I could expect delivery on Wednesday. I am disappointed in the lack of communication during the week, as well as on the delivery day. I did appreciate the approach of the manager, and the fact that they refunded my purchase, I then bought the same item at Harvey Norman, picked it up and installed it myself. Communication with the customer could have prevented a lot of frustration!

I bought a nutribullet blender from Noel Leeming Pah Road, Royal Oak in about January 2021. It had two blades. In about July 2022 part of one broke. I went into Noel Leeming to ask if I could buy another blade or where could they get one. At least two staff members said there was no replacement. So I said "do I have to buy a new blender then?" That seems crazy. YOUR STAFF NEED TO KNOW THAT you can buy a blade from a nutribullet nz site and tell customers that or stock replacements in store.
