We have recently had fibre broad band installed in our property by Openreach through TalkTalk. The OpenReach technician, Jonathan, arrived at the time promised and ascertained where we required it to terminate in the house. He was polite. well informed and carried out the work quietly and cleanly. At the end of the installation, he made certain that all our equipment was connected satisfactorily and even connected some himself. The quality of any company depends upon their employees and in view of all of the adverse reviews of Openreach maybe we were lucky to have technician Jonathan do the work for us.

I switched from BT to Vodafone due to Openreach's poor WiFi setup. Openreach visited 4 times without success, but Vodafone, connected to a different setup company, fixed it in just one visit.

Absolutely disgusting conduct, uneducated chat people, no reply to complaint email regarding trespassing and spraying my property with no consent mission impossible style by 2 females, no note through the door to inform me of works, I am not even their customer, this is work for a neighbour, 3 emails, 2 lots of engineers out on the property and still no correspondence. I repeat the questions in my email. WHY HAVE I NOT HAD ANY CORRESPONDENCE THROUGH MY DOOR EXPLAINING WHAT IS NEEDED TO BE DONE AND TO OBTAIN PERMISSION. WHY DO YOU THINK THIS IS ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO AMEND YOUR WORKING PROTOCOLS TO RECTIFY THIS BEHAVIOUR GOING FORWARD.

Driving on the M62 today near Elland Road Leeds at 11:48 and a sign written Openreach Vauxhall Movano van (Reg number DL23 TXC) that was entering onto the motorway via the slip road gave me some road rage because I didn't move into the outside motorway lane to let him enter onto the motorway via his rules. The rules state that the road user entering the motorway via a slip road should adjust their speed and position to suit the motorway traffic when entering as per the following - Joining the motorway (259) Joining the motorway. When you join the motorway you will normally approach it from a road on the left (a slip road) or from an adjoining motorway. You should give priority to traffic already on the motorway check the traffic on the motorway and match your speed to fit safely into the traffic flow in the left-hand lane not cross solid white lines that separate lanes or use the hard shoulder stay on the slip road if it continues as an extra lane on the motorway, remain in the left-hand lane long enough to adjust to the speed of traffic before considering overtaking -After blowing his horn at me he then started to gesticulate at the side of me has he passed inferring that I was a Wan*er. I tried to contact someone at Openreach to complain but that would appear impossible. Will probably have to put the dashcam video on YouTube.

We have openreach persons on our land and they will not give us contact number for management until they finish doing the work. They are doing work that they said they would NOT be doing! This is very stressful and upsetting. I would rather not give them any stars but the men doing the work are just doing their job!!

got new fibre cable installed by open reach through Vodafone and the engineer installed the cable across our bedroom window which we cant open now because of the obstruction, open reach are probably the worst company I have ever dealt with, weeks after install complaint raised with vodafone and open reach and we have still had no contact with how this issue will be resolved just keep getting run around from call centres around the world

The overall experience from open reach has been abysmal given that I was supposed to be on full fibre 28 September. 21december after 9 th didifferent engineer visits I finally have full fibre to my home. Don’t get excited ……. It isn’t working and apparantly I need an N11 engineers visit which has just been booked for 16 January 2024. Fantastic…… NOT….. that is 110 days later than service was supposed to be on. OK rant over…… good bit is that my engineer who attended was from Kelly communications.. He was the epitome of quality….. polite & friendly….. very professional in every way…. An ambassador for openreach. So every cloud has a silver lining

When the job isn’t straight forward, the engineers can bounce the job off to each other for months without anything be holding them accountable.

Been waiting for six weeks for a replacement pole to be fitted keep getting told waiting for delivery for it so still waiting beyond a joke

I moved house on mid October. The Openreach Engineer called to install box outside my house. The Engineer then called to do the necessary work inside my property. He found he could not get a connection because there was a problem with the box that Openreach had installed. I have been waiting for 7 weeks to have this fault corrected. I have called Sky numerous times only to be told that they are monitoring the situation. They have done nothing to bring this to a conclusion. Absolutely disgraceful service. if I could give them a minus rating, I would.

We a raised the complain about engineer behaviour and work he carried out. By email they keep saying "we passed it to manager to deal with this matter" now 3 times. Trying to contact them for about 8 weeks. No response or any progress ,very unreliable company by look of it.

Openreach came to fit fibre to our house and had to rebook as we had a flat roof at the front of the property. They came again fitted the outer line to the house ready for the engineer to come to fit the internal equipment. The internal equipment booking day came and our engineer 8am - 1pm arrived around 5.30 but did get everything fitted and was fine. He left saying it would be live overnight. Anyway 36 hours later and 4/5 phonecalls to Utility warehouse and openreach and the engineer himself leaves us with openreach saying our file just shows problem with fitting due to flat roof not complete. The fact I have a fully installed router with flashing lights all green other than 1 red internet light tells me they are wrong and only need to make the line live. Despite spelling this out again and again we are told we have to wait another 8 days for an engineer to finish the job. Which will be a waste of his time as the job is done but openreach system has just not been updated correctly. I cannot believe that there is not a simple fix to this situation that could be achieved by a call to the engineer who completed the job in the first place with a reference to our address. Quite simply poor quality service.

The young man who came to fit our broadband was outstanding. Connor Kemp was a credit to your company he was so professional he made a really neat job very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend x

Third time engineer has failed to attend. Claimed they had requested a PTW they never emailed or posted one for two months finally received one six days ago returned it within an hour and then they cancelled the visit without informing me or my internet company. I tried for two months to tell then they had to dig a trench to put the bloody cable in 🤦‍♂️

Was supposed to turn up 8-2 clock then he the engineer. Said at 5 clock he couldn’t find the adress and said he phoned and number was off what a load of codsswallop. Worst company. Ever. The engineers. From this company must be still in school.

If I could give them a minus star rating then I would. 5 times have waited in for an engineer to attend - 5 times!!!!! and I am still waiting. Absolutely shocking service - do not use them. Who on earth is running this business?

Awful company drove into my vehicle when it was parked and I got nothing but attitude from the drivers colleuge The colleuge directed the driver into my car, he then again attempted to direct the driver into my car telling him it was clear and to keep going Took over an hour to get insurance details all the time I was being smiled at and laughed at I was given the managers number Alex kerr who has completely ignored me I now have had to do an official complaint on their website I'm so glad I am not a customer and would never use or recommend your company after being treated this way

Would love to leave zero stars, but; unable to, absolutely disgusting customer service, answering to absolutely no one and free to do whatever they want, whenever they feel like it, who the hell is in charge of this company and why the hell is this allowed to continue????????????????

Worst service provider. I had a engineer coming in 1-6 but i wasnt home until 4 so i let them know. But apparently the engineer wasnt told that and he works 1-5 then he said 1-4?! Why was i given the time 1-6??
