Booked flights to Miami, BA had no issues but then said Need to go back to my booking agent. OpoDo do not seem to have an email address where you can email them for a refund.

I booked flights to karachi leaving 20/03 /20.I have tried to contact them for the past 3 weeks have spent probably 10 hrs on the phone without speaking to anyone.I contacted Airways and they said they would refund my money,but only if they were contacted by Opodo.I will never book with Opodo again

I booked flights to Kuala Lumpur From London Heathrow leaving tomorrow 25/03 /20.I have tried to contact them for the past 3 weeks have spent probably 40 hrs on the phone without speaking to anyone.I contacted Malaysian Airways and they said they would refund my money,but only if they were contacted by Opodo.I will never book with Opodo again,or fly with Malaysian Airways.Both of them a waste of space.

Worst customer service ever. Sending emails requesting to contact them urgently but cannot reach them. Called approx 50 times today and still no luck. It wasn’t the cheapest when I bought the tickets and will never use them again.

Booked via Opodo online a London - Colombo return on Sri Lankan Airlines, and three days before the outward flight when I looked into checking in I discovered on the booking confirmation email that one letter was missing from the recording of my surname. The only email I received in Opodo's name was the invoice following payment, and that didn't give any means of communication. I contacted Sri Lankan Airlines and they said the correction could only be done by Opodo. I found there is no contact means given on their website; no phone number, no mail route or any other means that would have provided the communication for getting the correction done. I spent a lot of stressful time trying to find a means of contacting Opodo to get the correction done before doing the checkin, right up to the outward flight morning. In the end I gave up and not having any other option, I checked in using the incorrect surname spelling. This worked perfectly, but I seriously dreaded what I would have had to face at the various checkpoints before boarding the flight, knowing also full well that I had to face the checks both ways. Perhaps I shouldn't be disclosing this but miraculously I am back in London having completed both legs without a question asked at any point, with the surname on all the flight documentation not matching my passport surname. Perhaps it was my cheerful countenance that I presented at each point that distracted them. That I'm back in London without a hitch is very simply my personal good fortune. Opodo is seriously at fault, not only for making the mistake in the first instance, but for not having the means of communication available to contact them for the correction, and the documents re-issued correctly in time. I wouldn't advise anyone to go through this or similar experience by making a booking through Opodo. Not being able to contact Opodo can be a serious impedance to completing any service they provide. For myself, never again.

We booked tickets with Opodo only once in our life and we don't want to hear about them anymore. We've just lost 2500£ and we regret that we haven't booked directly with the flight company. T About Opodo... be careful, they are thieves.... Don't book with Opodo! I will write this anywhere I can.

Never book tickets through this shity company. Due the covid-19 issues one of my flight was cancelled another was suspended and i ask opodo for refund because i couldn’t leave country in any case. They refuse to make a refund and they explain that they can do nothing about it. They just took 250€ from me without any hesitation. Worst company ever

My flight got automatically cancelled due to COVID19. Opodo tells me to contact Turkish Airlines if I want to reschedule or refund. Turkish Airlines tells me they have an agreement with Opodo that Opodo should handle refund or reschedule procedures. They both put responsibility to the other party... And me the customer am left without help... My cancelled flight should leave in 4 days from now, I have zero hope to be helped before that. I hope Opodo will also refund after the flight still.

Been trying to contact Opodo for last 7 days as British airways has cancelled my flights to/from germany. Soon as give ref number they disconnect call. Trying to get to talk to an agent impossible. Contacted british airways and they can't help , need to contact opodo. Absolute joke looks like I'm not getting my £400 back any time soon. I will never use them again and defo would not recommend them

I can only agree with the other reviewers. Opodo took the money and have passed none to the hotel (Palazzio Stern Venice). The hotel have gone over and above to give me feedback and Opodo have done nothing. They're keeping money that is clearly not theirs and will probably pocket the booking fee. There is no way to cancel the hotel as the on line tool refuses and states you must call in. I know Ryannair normally get bad press, but they actually refunded their part almost immediately WELL DONE RYANNAIR

As another reviewer noted "Pity no zero star". Continued to receive text messages to check in for my flight despite it having been cancelled by the carrier within 36 hrs of booking. Regarding refund told to refer matter to the carrier....which was a bit rich as Opodo had pocketed £100 for two flights costing £275 all necessitated by the cancellation of flights by our original carrier (subsequently reinstated). If Google et al are serious (yeah ??!!) about protecting customers then this is a site that should be denied access to all search engines. It borders on 'the criminal'. May I recommend to others who post here that a look at the key personnel in the company and their activities is revealing !!!!

It seems many, many people are deeply unsatisfied with Opodo using words like "scam you out of your money, unable to contact, poor (or non-existent) customer service (as in my case)." Many such complaints are common with many other on-line companies (e.g. Agoda of which I had similar experiences). Complaints abound. Just look at the reviews. This whole industry needs proper regulation and an independent complaints procedure. If the company is based off shore it needs to be banned from trading in various countries (i.e. block them). They would soon change their culture!

Dreadful service! Had to cancel flights to SA via Dubai, I had taken out the cancel anytime policy and was told by customer service that the policy doesn’t apply due to the current situation with covid19 virus and that the flights were non refundable! After 2hrs + on the phone with them, I eventually was told that they’d give me a refund but I have to wait 90days. I will never book anything through Opodo again.

This is beyond an awful business that is trying to scam you out of your money. I wish there was 0 stars. I spent 5 hours on various holds (trust me the initial 3 hour wait is only the start). Flight got delayed so I missed a connecting flight. I had a flight delay gurantee which they refused to honor even though they couldn't quote an exclusion in the policy. Asked for a refund, refused to refund the flight. Asked to talk to manager, told me to call back in 3 hours. You can't make this stuff up. Stuck half way through my trip and had to purchase a second ticket.

This travel Agency is useless never ever use you again bought a return ticket for my nephew to come to UK he used one way coming here and the return part of the journey was cancelled phoned for a refund they said they wont refund back. I spent hours on the phone yesterday from one person to another not happy at all. Please stop robbing us our money will never ever recomend you to any of my friends People never ever use .OPODO .

TERRIBLE OPODO WICKED AGENCY UNHELPFUL 1000000%. I SPENT TWO DAYS CALLING THEM AND BEING CUT OFF THE PHONE AFTER BEING ASKED TO HOLD ON FOR 3 HRS OR MORE. ONLY TO BE TOLD OPODO CANNOT ASSIST YOU WITH YOUR CANCELLED FLIGHT, THEY SAID I SHOULD SORT IT OUT MYSELF NOT THEM. DON'T USE OPODO. DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU
