PLEASE DO NOT USE OPODO You will never get your money back if things go wrong They have had my money for over 2 years now & all I get is lies PLEASE NEVER USE THIS COMPANY Ticked the over 14 days for a refund as there wasn't a never f*cking got one

Still not got Refund for missed flight in Thailand when I went And they would never answer the phone My nephew called then In the Uk 2 hours minimum answer Apparently award winners For customer service ha ha ha Nephew called them at least 6 times Nephew called them at least 6 times Always promised to email me or text me or call me but never do

AVOID AT ANY COST! ALSO EDREAMS!!! I have been waiting for a refund for 10 months after the airline cancelled my flight. Nothing received yet. Absolutely incompetent help line. My case is a bit more difficult since I changed both my bank account and home address (but come on! 10 months!). Claimed they did a refund 1 month ago but seems like to a wrong address / using incorrect information (or did they at all? They cannot provide me with any paper confirmation). Money is stuck - more than CHF 600 (USD 600!). Their help line answer: "It is your problem, talk to your bank". Charged me for a call CHF 110 (USD 100) once I called to their Swiss number not a UK number (I am in Switzerland). NEVER EVER buy tickets from this company! In case of normality, you will save a couple of dollars. IN CASE OF ANY ISSUE, YOU WILL LOSE ALL your ticket money or even more and a lot of time!!!

clearly i will no longer use opodo for plane tickets. I suggest you people do same thing if you dont want headaches.

Do not book with them! You will never see your money back. I have booked EasyJet via Opodo, when the flight needed cancelling, Opodo said to speak directly to the airline, which I did and they refunded, however Opodo did not pass the refund back to me. They are holding on to my money and there is no way to get it back, they keep coming up with some BS that they are busy and following their procedures. I had to claim the refund via my credit card. Pure fraud. Keep away

Please do NOT book through this company. They DO NOT make cash refunds. Only a voucher or to reschedule dates on flights even though the Air Moroco flights being cancelled numerous times. Customer Service response is "take it or loose your money!!. Some still waiting over 7 months for refund As for making an insurance claim its beyond a joke

Like Diana Ross "I'm still waiting patiently" for return flights refund cancellation received a part refund last month for outgoing flights? 8 months been going on! Do not touch this company with a barge pole! Difficult to get a reply anyway changed a phone number to a extortionate premium rate number!

Please check with your airlines if Opodo has really requested a refund from them! I was under the belief that it was being processed but after 5 months I rang Emirates and found out that we had open tickets!! What a shock. So I contacted them on facebook and told them that they have committed the offence of Fraud under Section 2 of the Fraud Act 2006 - 'Fraud by false representation'; and Section 3 of the Fraud Act 2006 – ‘Fraud by failing to disclose information’; Link to Fraud Act: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/35/section/2 I immediately had a quick response and even an email confirmation that the refund has been authorised and due to reach my account in 14 days! Tremendous thieves Tremendous thieves They keep you on the phone without assisting you for hours and with a customer support that acts as a filter to never return your money. I advise you never to book in this company, terrible criminals

Avoid Opodo at all costs! My trip was canceled 6 months ago due to Covid, still no sign of any refund after my request. According to Opodo application, they still have not forwarded my refund company to the airline. Opodo was awarded today in France the prestigious title of worst service provider of 2020, the “golden cactus “. Fully deserved. I hope they just disappear from the travel industry.

The short version of this review is DON'T USE OPODO. Last May I made the mistake of booking a flight for my girlfriend from Thailand to the UK. After booking and paying, I didn't receive anything from Opodo. No email confirmation. Nothing. I checked my spam filter but no email. It was at this time that I found that you can't actually contact Opodo. They don't have a (working) contact centre. Anyway, what can I tell them as I don't have a 'reference' as they never emailed this to me. Then a couple of days later I received an e-ticket email from Austrian Airlines, so all was well. Now it is time for my girlfriend to return home and on checking with Austrian, I find that Opodo has cancelled the return ticket on 12th November 2020. And here we go again. I have no email confirmation from Opodo (only my credit card transaction) and there is no functioning Opodo contact centre. So in effect Opodo has cancelled a paid for flight and kept the refund and I have no way to contact them to complain or get my money back. Avoid.

Do not use this company! Tried to change my flights due to COVID- they confirmed to contact the airline directly. The airline advised they are unable to change this as an agent has booked this flight and are unable to do this without Opodo's consent. They just need to add a note onto your file to say Virgin can book the seats. Opodo has told me the incorrect information repeatedly and refuses to add a note to the file. I then asked Opodo for a refund and to cancel the flight and they refused saying they need to speak to the airline first. Happy to take my money however no accountability. UPDATE Your website Opodo as it's incorrect!!!

Please just book direct they literally will do anything so you can’t have your refund, it took many phone calls to finally get a refund because of covid which will take potentially up to 6 months... My flight got cancelled and I’d actually change one of the flight days and paid extra but quite a considerable amount to come back earlier and they are refusing to give me my full refund because I paid for the ‘change’ what BS... I will never use them again.

I feel sorry for all the many people that have been ripped off by this company (including myself) My advice is that if you have paid by credit card, phone your credit card provider and ask for a cash back, the money will then be refunded to your account and Opodo has 45 days to challenge it. Please try it, believe me it works.

If it was possible, I would give it zero stars. I understand that this year has been hard for travel companies but that does not excuse Opodo's complete lack of customer service. I booked flights to the USA before Covid started but the trip was cancelled due to lockdown. Even though my flights were cancelled, Opodo sent me no notification of this so I had no proof they had been cancelled. It took me hours and hours of phone calls for my refund to begin processing and I was told it would take up to 3 months for me to receive it. 3 months later I still haven't received it and opodo have removed their phone number so the only way of the contacting them is the almost useless online bot. After writing to them a couple of times, I ended up having to file a money claim through the courts to get my refund as what they were doing was illegal. Even that didn't work and only received the refund once a bailiff was sent round to their office to collect it. It took 8 months, numerous phone calls and court forms, and a lot of stress for me to get my refund. I regret ever using Opodo and advise against even considering using them.
