Still on payg meter. electric key not registering at paypoint so can not top up . Spoke to someone on Friday and they generated a code for me to get new key. Was told to wait 3 hrs before using code . Went to 3 paypoints to get new key the third one had a key they put it in their machine I gave them the code and it wasnt recognized. Too late to call customer service back as it was after 6pm. Called again Saturday morning waited over an hr no response. Spoke to the bot who told me they couldn't generate new number cos I still had electric and we are not an emergency .I am into my emergency credit and have less than 2pounds left. We will probably go off supply today and customer services will be closed by the time it runs out which will then be an emergency. So I will have no heating or electricity til I can get through to the tomorrow. This is the 3rd time in 6months we have had trouble. We were 3 days without gas back 2montjs ago and my husband is diabetic. I am not going over to a smart meter which I think is why all the problems are occurring.

Worst energy supplier ever, never had such a. Stressful mess occur in relation to bills - 8 months into a stream of complaints and I still don’t have a correct bill ! Sent me the wrong bills for the wrong meters for 8 months, I complained and had the complaint ongoing for 6 months, they kept telling me it was resolved meanwhile I was being billed someone else’s bills. Then debt collectors were asking me for money despite me never being sent a correct bill. I was told this issue was resolved about 5 times. I had phoned up about this complaint almost weekly for about 4 months. Everytime I was told it was fixed the issue was not fixed. Even now I still don’t have a correct bill. It’s currently December, I moved in at the start of March. Go with eOn or ANYONE ELSE.

Never again will i use or recommend this useless company. They keep sending different account numbers for the same mpan electric meter. They somehow got my sons name and started billing him at our address, even though he has never had an Ovo account and doesnt even live in this country. The customer service is non existent, they are the most incompetent energy company i had ever used. Octopus energy is far better and easier to use and deal with. Ovo are a rip of merchant who constantly harass their customers with wrong bills and wrong information, then claim they dot know how it has happened. YOUR ADMIN IS USELESS THATS HOW!

Rubbish, Customer Care, don’t care about the customers left me in the dark with no electric on with my grandson which is two all they care about, is the money, not about customers. was on the phone for 2 1/2 hours and all they kept on doing was cutting me off and send me to speak to someone else. How can you run a cowboy business and still be up there? The government need to step in as my next step is going to the ombudsman

Lack of communication, overcharging, I have sent my meter readings which are apparently completely ignored, I then received txt messages for unpaid bills with no record of energy usage, very disappointed,

I was never a customer of this company. The housing association told me these were the suppliers. I changed to another company before I moved in to the property. They are now demanding money for a empty property where no gas or electricity was being used.

Switched to OVO, didn't work, couldn't log in, hours and hours on the phone wasted. Now switched to Octopus just a month later. Don't waste your time.

Incompetent morons. They have a debt associated with a large block of flats and they are too incompetent to know who the debt belongs to. So they go on a jolly hunt to find ANY name associated in ANY way with ANY of the flats in the building (of which there are more than 50) and then continually harass them via nuisance calls and nuisance SMSs. They call it 'search and trace' which is their name for 'we're too incompetent to know who our customers actually are so we're going to waste lots of time of lots of random people in a vain effort to recover money'. I'm not even an OVO customer and never have been, but I definitely never will be after this.

Ovoid energy is useless, they are no help whatsoever, they hinder you constantly until you pay your bill Although telling them you can't pay until you get paid, they then decide to constantly call everyday and on top of that they add more money on from your next bill onto this bill and try to say you owe more money than it shows on your app, they're customer service is absolutely shocking!! They are rude, constantly hinder people for money that they haven't got, threaten will bailiffs for 150.00 really when there are people out there that are over a grand in debt!!!!!!!

Atrocious customer service. Ovo trying to bill me for a period after I moved out because new tenant gave wrong date. Customer services were point blank refusing to budge. There final message was 'don't for we supply data to Experian'. Lovely veiled threat.

Absolutely awful customer service. My partner moved out in May and finally got the final bill in September. Disputed the amount and took us to go through the statements with a fine tooth comb to find out what’s happened. Promised call backs which never happened, asked to speak to a manager and that was refused.

This is the worst company I have dealt with in my life for energy. Insanely terrible billing system, calculations on the website showing "Total Charges vs Total Payments" for each period which in some cases are different than the actual bill when you download it, I'm trying to move my account to Octopus Energy, and I can't as the bill needs to be cleared, which I have done, but then they didn't move the account, and so the energy bill increases, and I can't move it. So I make contact with them and get their whatsapp chat system with an AI bot who passes it onto a human, I think, who then proceeds to threaten me by saying that Ovo shares information with credit agencies. It's an absolute disgrace. I will be making a complaint to the Ombudsman if I do not resolve the issue soon and move away from them.

Ovo must be the worst company I existence. I was briefly in a property April 2022 to June 2022 due to DV. I told ovo I had moved out . So up to this day they have constantly harrased me refused to close the account and harrased me phoned me sent threatening letters I told them okay go and put a prepayment in it's been now a year and a half they've allowed somebody else to run bills up the property is in unst shetland I don't live in shetland I have another tenancy and an account with ovo . They are so stupid not to realise I told them to contact housing officer yave his details they refused. Today I received a entry warrant threat and debt collector threats for a property I do not live in and left in June 2022 after two months only . I have a tumor I'm sick I'm staying and the stress this has caused me is unbelievable I reckon I have called the and apoke to them 60 plus times to say I do not live there.

Very bad customer service kept on moving me to a new department hung up calls so many times could not believe it I don’t know if there are working from home or if there’s any accountability,wow bad experience ended up switching fast

Absolutely useless as a company, I left a property and continue to get bills even after explaining I have left, letters from the landlord saying I left, might be ok on prices but by aware if you some sensible conversations with someone you will not get it. lets hope the energy ombudsman can help because nothing i do seems to work

Absolutely appalling service. Moved out in August - ~£500 in credit. Called multiple times to try and get a refund and they are still holding on to the money with no explanation of why. Customer service team cannot do anything and do not know anything, and I cannot speak to those who can/do. It's now almost Christmas - I could use the money. Shockingly bad!

I live in a 1bed house when I was sent from sse to ovo (not consulted on this) in August I was £600.00 in credit naw 3 months later I am told I am £11.000 in debt I don't think so. My account is supposed to be on holed until my desputt is settled but every night at 5 30pm I am contacted by there depht department wanting to know when I am going to settle my account. I and my husband are pencheners I do not have that sort of money and I don't ow it anyway. I rang this morning for the 4th time was told someone would ring me back in 30 minutes 7 hr later still waiting. Anyone out there in Scotland who was my grated to ovo fro sse get out wile you can I can't naw because they say I am in debt. I am not.
