Worst customer service team every other department they have there rude and unhelpful you will have to speak to ten different people to get to a solution don’t waste your time going with this company!

Totally confused ! Received a statement up to April in June Told I was over £250.00 in debit in May then in June I'm over £300.00 in credit ???? Would not recommend this company to anyone

I have an ongoing complaint with Ovo about my in home display for my smart meters am on pay and go so I top up my electric and gas my in home display keeps disconnecting from my meters and Ovo say it is because the display needs to be no less than a meter apart from my meters and I keep saying to them it can’t as my meters are in a cupboard downstairs and I live upstairs and they haven’t even sorted the complaint out yet and I’m on there priority register my mental health was stable before I changed to Ovo not they have made it worse they just give there customers the run around got told that the complaints person dealing with my complaint tried to phone me but I told them they didn’t as I was near my phone every day there are a bloody joke of an energy company

I was with British Gas then all of a sudden I get a letter saying welcome to ovo WTF how did that happen. I’d never heard of them before that needles to say I went straight back to British Gas. I’ve received 2 different final bill for them well they can go f themselves I didn’t sign up to your company so you’re getting nothing from me, send all the threaten letters you like. You have committed fraud !!!!

Terrible company. Talk to a call centre person and it's so difficult to understand them. They are paying my feed in tariffs to the wrong bank. I have been with the same bank for over 50 years. They try and blame me for their mistakes. No problems when SSE running the business . Stay well away from OVO

Ovo energy recommend direct debit and they don’t take meter reading properly and cheat customers . Support people are very rude and they don’t want to calculate correct amount . You will be over charged saying you didn’t close the account . Just a SCAM company Don’t ever go for it. Pay only based on your usage . These people are also trained to scam … in my case based on the tariff there is no clear updates for the amount calculated instead 16 pound I was asked to pay 170 plus …

Terrible company - DO NOT SIGN UP TO OVO ENERGY. They make mistakes and blame the customer, and also send huge bills without explanation which turn out to be wrong. I cannot explain the stress and amount of time they have wasted. I am planning to move over to a far more reputable company. Ovo customer service in particular is bad - the different staff working at call centres all give different information and do not know what they are doing. If they have messed you around, you need to push them for compensation.

Never receive a monthly bill, email phoned, been promised they will send me a bill next month, never receive a bill.... go online to try find out how much my bill is.... in debt by computer but in credit on the app.... The company is a joke

I changed my supplier from OVO because it kept saying I owed money after paying £180 month for tiny 1 bedroom apartment . They are the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with . Now with Octopus , what a difference , paying less per month and being hundreds in credit .

Absolute joke of a company. Took two direct debit payments from me this month and contacted them to get one of them refunded to me, they took a second metre reading and told me because of the usage of energy they could only refund me £9 of the second payment of £50 they took from me. Absolute Scam.

Ovo is a joke, I got into a situation where I can’t pay for my bill, they got the debt collectors in I spoken to the company, I said that I can pay £50pcm and they contacted ovo, they agreed then canceled the debt collectors. When I was going to pay £50 they wanted £225 of me and I don’t get paid that much, so tried to say that I couldn’t afford that, they didn’t like it and said that they have to go back to the debt collectors, haven’t heard anything of the debt collectors but have had bill showing they have put more money on my bill and I haven’t been using much electric and gas. This has really stressed me out! Going to contact the debt collectors myself and explain everything to them. If you ever see yourself having a letter off ovo saying that they are your new electric and gas supplier, leave stray away.

Awful customer service. They closed my account by mistake, their mistake, and the advisor who assisted me couldn't care less. I opened two complaints and I waited for 2 weeks.They said they will contact me in 7-10 days. When I contacted them back they told me the complaints were marked as resolved. What a joke!

Useless! They sent me a final bill, then sent me a cheque saying I was in credit, then sent another bill, agreed that was wrong and said account closed.. now asking for more money..

Do not touch them as a company, get out as quick as you can. I was migrated from SSE the money they were taking in the beginning was ridiculous, I was slowly watching the company sending me high bills, . No monthly usage written in data as time went on, I was screenshotting my electricity and gas daily and eventually they got caught out for overcharging me .they did pay me back. Trying to get extra revenue back overcharging other customers.when goggle it was saying OVO own 10million for overcharging. Remember they are trained from a person what to say to customers.I’ve now cancelled with OVO . I had to be very aware how to work with them regarding ending my custom, make sure your credit is low !! with only a little bit of credit in ,to clover your closing account the more you have the more add-ons they will come up with .when they say to you, we generate your this last bill in six weeks. Say no you won’t. You’ll do it now. We will sort it out on the telephone today with my last reading as from today i have photographs of my readings as Evidence my closing date,data of today what is owed to me .dont let them palm you of with in six weeks . I want to in writing today what you own me in email or updated on my app now please . you do not need six weeks to generate a bill. if you give them time they will dip into your account and take other money making excuses for any add-ons . , then close your direct debit i’m now receiving the money that is owed to me within 10 days, not six weeks.

Thieves actual thieves! I paid £121pcm only to be charged £445 on top one month, been ignored for 6 months. If you want my advice, change your supplier because OVO are disgusting.

Joke of a company horrendous experience trying to get the overpayments that they took without notifying me that they were increasing my DD. They then tried to block me moving to Octopus (brilliant company with excellent customer service) and then had the audacity to say they blocked my switch incase I wasn’t sure I really wanted to leave them. I finally got shot of them and it’s the best thing I could have done.
