“A word of advice to any customers who have had late delivery of parcels, missing or damaged parcels... fill the online claims form in and make this company refund you what ever percentage they lay out in their terms. Even if you think it's not worth bothering still do it, Make them have to issue a cheque and postage of it to you even if it's only a pound! They'll be employing more claims staff than delivery staff!!”
“""Paid for Saturday delivery, for a reason! It arrived in the correct depot at 7:15am and when called 3x all been told different things...
1) my parcel out for delivery, and will be with me by 12:00
2) 12:10 called again was told system is down....
3) called again at 12:28 was told that my parcel will be dispatched and out for delivery for Monday?.... I might as well paid for standard delivery, instead of paying £19.95 for Saturday delivery!
Absolutely joke of a company fuming is not the word right now!”
“"Charges and fee paid on Monday 29 Aug 17 (with receipt plus transaction on my bank statement) . Instead of receiving my parcel +1 day, I received a 2nd letter to pay on +5 day (Saturday 02 Sep 17). They are ridiculous
"”
“Absolutely rubbish company. Still function like its 1975. Just throw you parcels on to a lorry and presume that everyone is at home during working hours. System in dire need of an update where couriers notify and keep in touch with customers in order to enable successful deliveries.”
“My friend paid almost £80 to send a parcel of sentimental value, we trusted parcelforce. It
was posted from Dorset, UK to Tbilisi, Georgia, on 26/08/2017, today is 29/09/2017 and the parcel has not arrived in Tbilisi. I have gone to Tbilisi Central Post Office twice and the parcel is not there. I have written to parcelforce customer services twice and they keep telling me the parcel would be delivered between 9-14 days as it was sent on global value, well it's been 26 days and nothing. They say 'global value' can't be tracked, why give customers tracking number for a parcel you can't track. You sold us a lie as this was never explained. Is this the worst service ever?
Please locate my parcel and either keep at Tbilisi Central Post Office for me to collect or return to sender in Dorset, UK. I don't want a refund, I want my parcel and I'm not a happy bunny!
Ref no: CP631541603GB”
“ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING SERVICE.
SENT LETTER TO ITALY GUARANTEED NEXT DAY DELIVERY COST OVER £40. ARRIVED 5 DAYS LATER COSTING ME £1000'S IN LOST COMMISSION, TRIED TO MAKE A CLAIM WHICH WAS REJECTED AND THE REASON FOR REJECTION "DELIVERED ON TIME". THEY ARE LIARS AND CHEATS, WILL NEVER USE AGAIN”
“they've stolen my parcel, but telling me that it was lost inside their stoke warehouse;maybe the worse warehouse in uk-thieves-that's exactly what they are;ps:it was quite an expansive item”
“This company is getting worse, going through the procedure online to claim is an absolute joke too. Repeatedly asked for an upload of my receipt which was done 4 times, they don't converse at all and use automated replies because they're obviously overwhelmed with complaints. Not once did I have a proper reply to my query using the message feature on there. I used express 48 which took 7 days due to incompetence of reading a Shipped FROM address and not the ship TO address, causing problems for a £114.00 refund on the item I was shipping as it needed to be back in time. I'm yet to even get an apology from parcel force, my online claim now shows as "closed" and im to receive a pittance percentage back of my postal charges. No message of how or why they reach the amount, ... no option for me to include the details of how their delay had a knock on effect. Im actually more angry about the online claims procedure, it's robotic, uncaring and ignorant.”
“Every single time I've had an international parcel unfortunately fall into ParcelForce's hands, there has always been a customs charge. I find it very, very hard to believe that these are done at random. Royal Mail is bad, but better. At least with them I don't get dread when I see on the tracking it's with them rather than ParcelForce. Not all my parcels are charged when RM delivers them, unlike ParcelForce.
Also, ParcelForce's custom charges are more expensive than Royal Mail's. Last week I was charged £15 by RM for a Nendoroid. Today I have been charged £20 also for a Nendoroid but by ParcelForce. It's really unacceptable.
The last thing that takes the cake is how they inform you you have a charge. Royal Mail just stick a slip through your door. You can just go to the depot the next day and collect it. But with ParcelForce it hangs around in customs for ages and then you have to wait even longer for them to post a letter to you to inform you about the charge. Every time this has happened, I have received it on a Friday. Very convenient as they do next working day delivery for free once paid, oh but if you want it Saturday, you need to pay an extra £12. Absolutely no way am I paying an awful charge to have my parcel and then an extra £12 just to have it the next day. Oh and their depot isn't local to me.
Sadly I will have many more of these charges in the future as the things I like to collect are magnets to those charges. Just a frustrating, greedy company.”
“After my initial review and complaint on the 15th August and calling parcelforce on the 16th August only to be told that the parcel would be collected from the post office where the driver left it and be delivered to my address between 4-5pm, I had an appointment for my cancer review at 4.15pm and had to attend without my husband as he had to wait for the delivery. Then today the 17th I get a letter from parcelforce, not an apology as I expected for the terrible service but telling me how and where to collect my parcel with the collection card inside the letter I could not believe what was in the envelope, but that was delivered to my address by a far superior company, parcelforce are a joke but not funny, there service is the worst I have ever had the displeasure to be at the receiving end of, they lie are lazy and their customer care/service is 0. When I checked the tracking on the 15th it stated that the delivery was ot attempted and that it was left at a post office in the next town at 17.08, my local post office is a couple of hundred yards from my home but as the driver could not make it as far as my address( maybe van broke down at other post office, they might have been taken ill or it could just be that they do not care about delivering the items or their customers), I would take the latter, on checking the tracking on the 16th it had been changed stating that a delivery was attempted at 16.03 and it was dropped at a post office over a mile away at 16.36, I know this not to be true as talking to parcelforces customer services they admitted that it stated on the system on the 15th that delivery was not attempted. The sooner this company goes out of business and more competent companies take over the better as they just do not care at all, I will never use them and I would advise no-one to use them, get a company that will look after your item and look after their customers, parcelforce never will unless they get a new delivery workforce and that is not going to happen.”
“A delivery was booked for Friday 11th August. On the morning of delivery I had a confirmation txt with an hour slot. As normal when I have a delivery booked I check my bell on the gate to make sure that it is working but found the battery had gone dead. I then left the gate on the latch so that the delivery guy could come into the garden and deliver my parcel. The delivery time came and went and no parcel. I then found a non-delivery slip on the wall to say a delivery had been attempted but no-one was home and it was taken to the post office 1.5 miles away. Due to a knee injury I decided to arrange a re-delivery. On Saturday morning I had a phone call from the Parcelforce office to say that a re-delivery had tried to be booked but it had been delivered. I explained that it wasn't delivered to me as the driver couldn't be bothered to open the gate and walk down the path but instead dropped it off at a post office that was 1.5 miles away. I also said I wanted it redelivered as previously requested. This hasn't been done and I have now had to get my son to go to the post office to pick it up as it was still sitting there waiting for me to collect. Most delivery companies try up to 3 times to delivery but not this company. They are happy to take your money but not provide a service.”
“My RC copter was securely packed inside a hard plastic case.
It was sitting perfectly still inside the case and wrapped in soft foam all around.
The case itself was wrapped in cardboard and then a layer of plastic.
Parcelforce totally raped the package.
The quad copter inside the case arrived broken.
The hard plastic case was cracked in four different places.
I would probably have been able to stand on that case without breaking it.
That takes some serious skill to break.
Thank you parcel force.
I thought the delivery companies in my country were bad.
I now know better...”
“My friend sent me a parcel with urgent paperworks to start my job, and he did with parcelforce. We paid for the "best service", it's supposed to be in 24 hours in Germany (manchester-Germany). 16 days later I don't know nothing about my parcel and the customer service is useless, they only create confusion and they say "we need to investigate what's happened". Its a nightmare, my company decided to put me on standby until I get that paperworks again. It's the worst delivery company that I have ever seen and they don't care about the customers.”
“Ihave been waiting since 8.30am 15/08/17 for a parcel to be delivered, it stated on the tracking that it was out for delivery today, I waited all day and kept checking the tracking which stated all day that it was to be delivered today, at 5.55pm I checked the tracking yet again only to find out that my parcel had been left at a post office in another town, I contacted parcel force only to be told that the driver had NOT attempted delivery to my address at all and that they would ask if the driver would collect it from the post office and deliver to my address, what makes this even worse is that I have a local post office a few hundered yards from my home, but if the driver had made it to that it would have been easier for them to deliver to my address as that is what they are paid to do, if I had not checked the tracking I would not have known where my parcel was. The cheek of the driver put on the tracking that I had to take the card that was left with ID to collect my parcel but as the driver did not arrive at my address they could not leave a card, this is a disgraceful service and it is not the first time that parcelforce has not made a delivery on the tracking stated, they need to employ better delivery people and parcelforce needs to look after it's customers as customers are what keeps the business in business.
Edit”
“Waited all day for a parcel to be delivered and it never arrived, they tried to deliver the following day while I was at work, they left a card saying they would try to deliver again Monday but I was working so I called and said please deliver Tuesday got home from work yesterday and find they had tried to deliver it after I asked for it to be delivered Tuesday.”
“I would give 0 stars if possible! This company is a total disaster and I will never ever use their service again. First of all they customer service is useless - I had to call them 4 times to arrange a re-delivery, each time I needed to speak with stupid machine that cut me off after 15 minutes of pointless 'conversation'. Then after 3 attemps, I finally get to speak with a real person - it turned out that I was transfered to a customer service person that was not in charge of my area. So it was practically impossible to arrange the re-delivery (as I was not able to do it over the phone), so I arrange a delivery to my local post office via the company's on-line system. And following day I found a card from a delivery guy saying that he tried to delivery my parcel to my house address (even though I asked them to leave this parcel in the post office) and that parcel has been left in the post office - but not the one that I selected. So now I have to pick up my parcel from the post office that is open Mon-Friday 9.30-17.30 and Saturdays 9.30-12.30, but I work at these hours... As I said before - this company is terrible, useless and highly incompetent.”
“I had paid for a parcel to be collected from London yesterday (07/08/2017). The scheduled time for collection from my place of work was between 12-6pm. I had been waiting up until almost 7pm and spoke to the Customer Services team to find out what was going on. They informed me that the driver's handheld terminal had broken and as a result of this - he was not able to retrieve the addresses to collect from. There was nothing to notify me of this until I called Customer Services - unacceptable.
The gentleman from Customer Services London then said to give me peace of mind, my parcel will definitely be collected by 4pm the following day (today)...Guaranteed! It got to 3pm when I called to make sure everything was still on schedule and another gent from Customer Services London picked up the phone and told me he would look into the issue and call me back by 4:30 but never did... I called back again at 5 and spoke to a lady called Hazel from Customer Services London. She cut me off every time I tried to speak to get my point across and told me that the team are "doing their jobs" and to leave them to do do and wait until the parcel is collected as my name is definitely on the list of places that the collections team are going to.
Its 7:15pm now, I'd like to get home and reschedule again but can't as the parcel needs to be sent off today. No offer of apology let alone compensation for the delay / hassle / rudeness and lies.
All in all a terrible experience - will definitely not be looking to use ParcelForce again for any of their services and I strongly advise the same for others so that they don't go through the same ordeal!”
“Unbelievably bad service. MD ignored my letter. They do not fulfill their side of the contracts.
Worst service! Use any other courier service because these lose your parcels and don't honour the insurance you pay.
DO NOT DELIVER TO CORRECT ADDRESS THEN DO NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY OR REPLY TO COMPLAINTS. AVOID PARCELFORCE!”
