“Ordered £500 worth of parrot food, had it delivered for years. Instructions are to leave on front door if not in. Had a delivery today, never came near the front door and just threw the boxes over the railings, quite a few have split therefore wasting a lot of it. The one he split on the railings he just wiped off. We've just watched the whole delivery on camera.”
“I recently placed an order for delivery within London, and my experience with Parcel Force has been nothing short of infuriating.
On the scheduled delivery day, I received no notifications whatsoever. When I checked the status on your website, it stated that the parcel was awaiting collection by the courier. I immediately called your hotline. After repeating my reference number three times, your automated system failed to recognise it. I was then forced to wait over half an hour listening to horrendous hold music before finally speaking to an operator.
The operator informed me that the courier had apparently tried to collect the parcel but no one was present at the location – which is an absolute lie. The courier was expected that day, and someone was there specifically to hand over the parcel. When I asked why the courier hadn’t contacted the designated person, the operator shockingly told me that couriers are not required to call.
What is even more absurd is that the reference number provided by your system was entirely useless. The operator gave me a different reference, which finally allowed me to see the parcel details. How is this acceptable?
I requested a refund, but it hasn’t been processed to date. This level of service is utterly chaotic and unacceptable. I would not recommend Parcel Force to anyone.
Sort out your system and your customer service – this is appalling.”
“Message received from Parcelforce at 16:33 to say "We attempted to deliver your parcel UG7690764 today Friday 13th September 2024 at 16:33pm from ***** but no one was available. Our driver will have left a card explaining what to do next." This is an outright lie.
(1) We were gardening in the front garden all afternoon and the delivery person would have had to pass by us. (2) The is no Parcelforce delivery person on the 24-hour security camera. (3) There is no Parcelforce delivery person recorded on the doorbell camera (only the Amazon delivery person). (4) A miss delivery card was not put through the door as Parcelforce claimed.
The lazy Parcelforce delivery driver clearly wanted to bunk off early for the day and decided that they would tell a lie so that they could do so. Disgraceful and deceitful behaviour. We order regularly from the firm sending the parcel and they are a reputable family firm. Sadly the courier firm that they use currently (Parcelforce) is the pits, and is letting them down badly.”

“Not notified when the parcel is out for delivery,no tracking number left on the first delivery and then when you do try and track the parcel the tracking is useless. This company is so far behind other courier companies.”
“Paid for delivery but they made no attempt to leave. Could have left with my neighbor or in a safe place. Ended up paying £1 more to leave at my local post office which is 2min away. Should have arrived yesterday but it’s still at the Depot which is miles away. I would avoid using Parcel Force in the future, very poor service compared to other courier services.”
“We urgently needed to send some stock to our distribution centre the USA. Parcelforce offered a 1 day delivery service. It was nerly £200 but the stock was required urgently. After 4 days, Parcelforce had failed to deliver. So we sent more stock using DHL because parcelforce was fobbing us off and asking for paperwork that had been attached to the parcel itself. DHL made the delivery - no problems at all - within 4 days - and CHEAPER!! Now two weeks later, we are STILL waiting for Parcelforce to deliver.
The following is the latest response from Parcelforce who have proven they do not give a monkeys about customer service;

“I was supposed to receive a parcel today. I got a message early morning with the options for the parcel to be delivered at a neighboring or post office. I chose post office as the parcel I was getting contained fresh produce. Guess what.. the drive ignored my request and left the parcel in front of my door… My husband and I are getting home very late so the chance of the food to be spoiled are high… when I contacted customer service I was told a driver won’t go back as they have followed their policy… Why are you giving people the option for different delivery location when you will ignore it..
